moreResolved Question: are americans troublemakers?
i think the american government are troublemakers because they create so many wars between different countries. did you know it's the americans fault that theres taliban because they used to supply them with weapons so they could fight the soviet union, 2 million afghans died, 15000 russian soldiers. they also supplied saddam hussein with weapons and created the iran, iraq war funded by americans because iran was no longer par of their colony 2 million iranians died. they also caused the division between north korea and south korea. and the americans recently blew up a south korean ship and blamed north korea. they also fund weapons for taiwan so they don't become part of china again when it has nothing to do with them. hawaiins want to have their freedom from usa but they dont let them. they also fund israel with weapons. israel has created a wall around palestians and are not letting any supply of food into the country and are basically control them, why wouldnt they fire rockets at israel wouldnt u do the same thing if you were trapped. and also started they the vietnam war because they didnt want vietnam to become communists so invaded their country and killed millions of vietnamese. they also invaded iraq, to get rid of saddam because he killed hs own peope, but he killed thousands 20 years ago why didnt they get him then and why now. 200,000 iraqs dead and created more suicide bombs. tbh if you ask iraqs most of them perfer it durig saddam hussein. americans also pay sonni muslims to commit suicide and ill shia muslims to create tension between them. none of these things are never on the news because they don'twant everyone to know. american just go round to every county and think that they ant a democracy government, but most do not. thats why so many countries and people hate them.

moreResolved Question: What is this manga/anime!?
Oh, this has been driving me INSANE all the way home on the train (4 hours =/) so I had to ask as soon as I got home :D
Okay, in this manga there was a girl from Korea, and a boy from Japan (or the other way around) :P and the boy was being a spoilt brat, so his grandfather said he had to move to the country where the girl was (Korea?) ... Anyway, he ends up going to Korea (I can remember his grandfather threatened chopping up his motorbike/car with an axe if he didn't behave :D) ... and meets that girl ...
They're in a taxi-cab ride on the way home (he ends up moving in next door to the girl) and they have to keep ducking because there is too many people in the cab, and the police keep coming past ... Or something ^^;
I can remember that the boy always makes up jokes about food that they have in Korea that gives them stinky breath. And there were funny parts because the guy didn't speak Korean and vice versa. The girl and the guy don't like each other at first, but as time goes by, they end up going to the same school and becoming friends and more :)
I only read one volume of this manga, and it was a few years ago. There was a blonde guy (with a fan?) on the front.
I know, it's a terrible, terrible description, but it's all I remember ^^; ... Any ideas?
Thanks! <3THAT'S IT!!! OH THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH!!!! <3 I'm going to order the entire series now :) Thank you! <3
moreResolved Question: What's a good Korean restaurant in London?
I'm looking for a good, authentic Korean restaurant in London. Any recommendations? The places I've tried seem to be aimed at non-Koreans and focus more on the decor than the food. Where do Koreans go for really good Korean food in London?
moreResolved Question: KOREAN FOOD! yum! :)?
Heello! i was wondering if someone could help me out here :)
Ages ago i remember my Korean friends introducing me to this AMAZING Korean restaurant, the food was the best i've EVER eaten, thing is i suddenly remember this thing we used to eat there and im craving it like crazy! :) I would deffo pay for it as it is completely worth it but i dont live in that place anymore, so going there is out of the question.
I was wondering if you could tell me the name of this dish, it wasnt on the menu so i have no clue of the name but while you waited for your food they would bring to your table these two HUGE bowls of white rice and Kimchi and then like between 4-6 small bowls of different foods, my fav one was this dish made of shredded beef, cubbed potatoes, a dark sauce that looked like soy sauce but am pretty sure there was something else in it and they topped it with sesame seeds, the rest of the foods were served very hot but this beef one im wondering about was served cold.
Anybody out there knows the name of it?? And if it's not too much to ask do you know if there's a really amazing recipe out there for it?
I would REALLY appreciate it! ouh and of course I always pick best answer! :)

What is the etiquette here?
I've been invited to a friend's home for the first time, to try some traditional Korean food that they're making for lunch (they're an international student from Korea, in the UK). We're not particularly close, but we are friends.
Should a gift be brought and what type if so? Is there any particular way to dress? Is there anything else I should be aware of?

moreResolved Question: Who knows of a great Korean BBQ Resteraunt in London ?
HI People,
Years ago I fell in love with a meal in Thailand called MooGatak (which has turned out to be of Korean origin and involves the cooking of meat on ones own table with a BBQ as centrepiece with all the juices running into a ridge around the edge making a wonderful broth like soup).
I was in Musswell Hill a few weeks ago and in a Thai Pub and I asked the waitresses if she knew of any MooGatak restaurants. She expressed the only nationality selling such food in the UK were the expat Korean population in and around Wimbledon area in London.
So my question, do any of you use or no of any quality, authentic Korean BBQ restaurants. They don't need to be gleaming new or the most aesthetic, because lets not forget, its the food quality that matters most..
One of my favourite eateries in London is La Hore, the Pakistani restaurant off Commercial Street. Its all about the Lamb chops mmmmmmmm....
Looking forward with bated breathe...
moreResolved Question: how to source Cheap/basic Japanese food. (either restaurants or cooking myself- living in greater london)?
Hi there, I'm just throwing this out there.
I recently visited Japan for 3weeks, and could not believe how nice, tasty and healthy most of the food is there, I eat very badly here in the UK, but loved near every meal I experienced in Japan, and missed this food now I'm back in the UK.
other than the local 'Korean Foods' store near my home SW london, is there any great cheap places to get Japanese food, other than expensive high street sushi places (so expensive in UK).
I regularly make Beef Gyudon (like Beef Bowl Yoshinoya), basic Sushi, and basics like Teriyaki Chicken, and I have also found a good Japanese rice supplier (as I prefer the sticky rice).
I would also love a real simple japanese cook book, which uses the most basic recipes/ingredients, making it easy/fast to produce. (i'm not fussed by elaborate over the top meals)
I'm sure many Japanese people come to the UK and source better places for there diet.
thank you all for your help.

I really like Koreans or Asians in general but for some funny reason I feel they don't like me I know they can choose who they like as well but I don't know...how does that work?
I've never had a date in my life and I'm now at the legal age to get married (How scary?) what the hell am I waiting for?
Everywhere I go, some Asians smile at me, but I never get the chance to talk to them or anything, they are either too old or or too young. What am I doing wrong...I'm a black girl with a multi raced background and my parents go with what I go with (Meaning, Who ever I like they go with it) So because I like Asians they only want me to go out with them I always go shopping but I only eat Asian food (Not because I like Asians...that's what I've been eating all of my life...and Caribbean food) when I walk down the road people ask what I'm upset for or why I am angry but it's not that, it's because I walk down the road LONELY!!! Sorry to all of the other races but they keep looking in the wrong places on my body witch is perceived as "Rapage by looking" a.k.a Undressing the girl by looking and making her feel uncomfortable but Asians don't!!! WOW, when I'm in an Asian environment I feel like I'm in a Sakura garden but...Are they against black women?
Why won't Asians date black girls?

moreResolved Question: What are Asian Americans?
I have a few Asian American co-workers but for me I don't really see them as true Americans. Sorry but I am not being racist here but it's hard for me to classify them. Are they Americans or Asians?
I have one co-worker who grew up in a small town of America and he sees himself as true American as he can't speak his family's language Korean. He eats only American food burgers, cheese, soda and hates Asian food. But he has no White American friends as I think he doesn't fit in their group. He also doesn't like Asian people so again he's a bit of a loner.
Another co-worker grew up around Asians in America so all he has are ASian American friends well Korean. He eats mainly Korean food and speaks Korean at home. He has no White/Black/Latin friends. yet he says he is truly American.
Another person is half white half chinese but doesn't speak any Chinese or eat Chinese food. He also has no Chinese friends. But he has White friends. But he looks more chinese than white.
So what makes these people American and not Asian? If America is really about one nation, one race then why do people often label themselves as African AMerican, Asian American etc.. instead of just saying they are Americans? This labelling still creates segregation don't you think? Esp on those surveys they ask you to racially label yourself. So do White Americans fully accept these American Asians as one of their own? Or do they see a Russian AMerican as more AMerican than Asians simply cos they blend in w/White America more? thanks.BTW I am a foreigner living in America.my point is if Americans are one type of people why do I only see mainly people sticking to their own colour?
Why do Asians mainly hang out w/Asians, Latins w/Latins, Blacks w/blacks and most definitely whites w/whites? Once I invited my Asian American friend to my party which had White people and my white friends were not friendly to him as they were to other unknown White friends. I think that shows how races are still not familiar w/each other in America.

moreResolved Question: Have you considered that Mbeki's support for Mugabe (despite Worldwide condemnation) may be done with?
One eye on the next General Election in South Africa?
Look at some of the facts:
- South Africa parodies Zimbabwe i.e early hope and prosperity and then Infrastructural,Health,Education,SecurityJudiciary and Legal etc failures. Then anti White rhetoric and racist Laws designed to drive Whites out of the Country. Land grabs and food shortages.
- Mbeki went to Polokwane completely unprepared for the outcome, thinking he was a shoe in. He hates Zuma and has always plotted against him as he did against many others. And what about the murder of Chris Hani who was destined to follow Mandela.Rumours have Mbeki implicated and only he stood to gain from Hani's murder.
- Mbeki knows that in a "free and fair" election he will not be returned as President of South Africa.
- Mbeki and his apparatchiks at the UN have constantly sided with rogue Nations against the West whilst coourting the Chinese and Russians. Mugabe also is derogatory in anything Western and courts the North Koreans & ChineseIs Mbeki using Zimbabwe as a test project for his own ambitions and are South Africans about to undergo the same as Zimbabweans?Darth - I agree with you on who the masters and puppets are but you must never underestimate Mbeki. His whole life for the past 40 years has been conniving against others and you would be foolish to think he will just roll over for Zuma. Those Arms you talk about. The South African Media are reporting they have been cleared and on their way to Zimbabwe. The ANC are citing"there are no UN or SADEC sanctions against Zimbabwe" but common sense tells you that there are no sanctions because of the damage it would do to Zimbabweans. Mugabe and his henchmen have sanctions against them. Yesterday the South African UN Representative lied about about Mbeki's failute to meet British PM Brown saying he only arrived late at night.Another SA rep countered him by stating Mbeki arrived at 9am.The Washington Post and the Times of London have slammed Mbeki and the ANC not only for their stance on Zimbabwe but also their continuous anti Western rhetoric and siding with rogue Nations of the World at the UNLise - See my response to Darth. I can honestly see Mugabe retaining power aided and abetted by the ANC and I can also see the Tribal War in South Africa getting closer and closer. If you look on the Sky News Blogs you will read that British PM Brown is not even bothering to approach Mbeki anymore and British diplomacy is concentrated on other African Leaders. Mbeki forgets that without access to Western Markets South Africa collapses double quick. The US/UK used that threat against De Klerk so maybe it is time to resurrect it against the ANC.Tebidy - Sorry about the picture. It is Mbeki on a good day screaming the "legacy of apartheid/colonialism." I will change it to Tutu.

moreResolved Question: Which nations actually eat cat or dog or yucky thing?
I can tell you in my nation- SOME people DO eat dog BUT NOT MY (also the 55%+ of population) ethnicity- Javanese
Only Batak ethnics (from Sumatra), (some) Chinese and some Balinese eat dog/insect/cat-
We Javanese consider this very disgusting and 2 some crazy muslim think it is haram to eat cat, dog or monkey etc- BUT when I went to Qatar & UAE (full of crazy arab) - dog shish street vendor very common.
So- in Asia- some Indonesian, few Malay, many Chinese, many Korean, almost no Japanese, some Philippino. Backward countries like Laos, Burma and Cambodia known to eat anything that walk, swim or fly (spider is Khmer 'delicacy').
Thailand- I know some Chinese eat cat and dog for medicine (?) also in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
So PLEASE- do not say ALL South East Asian- only South-East Asian PRIMITIVES eat
- elites will not eat such barbarous food to save our life
It is very insulting stereotype that we elites could be so vulgar, barbarous and crude as our nation's primitives.Metallica- no- only Chinese do the cat boiling. This is very cruel only a Chinese would do this. It is to preserve their pelt used for textile industry to bulk up rabbit fur.
The stick is to tenderise the dog meat in China- adrenaline makes any meat (even cow) yuck.
Guangzhou and Guangdong in CHina is infamous for eating everything. You are foolish to think this is rudeness or elitism. Proteins can be more easily derived from fish/seafood or legume- not cat, dog, horse, insect, primate or the food choice of savages.Asia= world's largest continent BUT only Korean and Chinese eat cat and dog commonly.
Indian I don't think even dhalit caste eat cat or dog= maybe dog eat dhalit?
