Hi, so I'm 14 years old, and, well, my back is horrible. I started having back acne in 5th grade. I'd pick and peel them, despite how many times my mother told me not to (Heh, D:). In 7th grade, I started using Clearasil on my back, and the pimples disappeared! But I was still left with the 82375892357 scars there. I started using aloe vera, and for the first two weeks, about 40% of my scars lightened. (: I continued applying it every night before sleeping. I also tied up my hair, and wore shirts that revealed my back, but then my back stopped improving! I guessed the aloe had clogged up my pores, and I started to have more acne! Recently, my mother bought a back scrubber for me, and I started using Vitamin E on my back. I'd poke a hole in the capsule and apply them to my back, along with the aloe vera. So I'm here to ask: How long will the vitamin e take to work? What went wrong with the aloe vera? Can I use Aloe with the Vitamin E? Is there any other cure for my scars? When you answer, please don't suggest surgery, or some expensive cream (I have cheap Asian parents, LOL). Please don't be negative, I'm pretty upset about it already. PLEASE READ, THIS IS VERY BENEFICIAL. I've spent hours upon hours reading different ways to increase breast size. The pills are worth hundreds of dollars, with only a slight chance of working, why would you do that? Also with breast enhancement pills, there are other ingredients in those pills the manufacture isn't making completely known, only after doing research on different pills have I found out what is in them. Some have little bits of harmful ingredients while others are completely filled. Some are made all natural, but still have that little hint of danger, and still, are all expensive. Breast Augmentation is something completely different. Costing a range anywhere from $5000-$10,000. Going under the knife, leaves scars and sometimes unevenness. Would you really waste $8000 on lopsided breasts? Good idea for some, not so for others. Either not having the money, or the dangers involved. They do say breast augmentation has gotten safer over the years, but still, there is ALWAYS a danger with any type of surgery. Between the pill and the surgery, I've considered one, then the other, then back to one. I'm unhappy with the size of my breasts, and I always have. I can easily have the money for surgery, but don't want the scars, I'm not wasting money on pills that can damage my health and have no affect on my bust. So, sitting and reading on what affects breast and their growth, I've read a few good things. -Estrogen is a hormone that comprises a group of compounds, including Astron, Estrada and Estrella. It is the main sex hormone in women and is essential to the menstrual cycle. Although estrogen exists in men as well as women, it is found in higher amounts in women, especially those capable of reproducing. Anyways, when you're pregnant your estrogen levels rise, and well, your breast are noticeably larger. After reading and confirming, estrogen is the main hormone connected with breast growth. If you want larger breasts, here's what you can do: Start eating different foods that have a higher level of estrogen. Apples, Cherries, Grapes, Tomatoes, and Pomegranates all have a good amount of estrogen. Apples especially. Alfalfa has high traces of phytoestrogens which is called dietary estrogens. Which means it acts like estrogen. Soy is also very high in estrogen, but a warning, soy extracts are BAD for you. If you are going to eat soy, cook your own soy, no soy extracts. Protein laden foods such as: fresh milk, fish, soy products, nuts and seafood, are also said to increase bust. Very last, flaxseed oil! Flaxseed oil is high in fatty acids and omega 3, 6+9. Very good to take for breast enhancement. And if in the end you don't see you bust grow, flaxseed oil capsules also: Lower cholesterol, protect against heart disease and control high blood pressure, Counter inflammation associated with gout, lupus and fibrocystic breasts, Control constipation, haemorrhoids, diverticular disorders and gallstones, Treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn and rosacea, Promote healthy hair and nails, Minimise nerve damage that causes numbness and tingling as well as other disorders, Reduce cancer risk and guard against the effects of ageing, Treat menopausal symptoms, menstrual cramps, female infertility and endometriosis, Fight prostate problems, male infertility and impotence. All the food I've listed are healthy, and are not harmful to your health. Also, if you plan to change your diet, as with any diet do not do it in an extreme way. Slowly work the different foods into your already existing diet, this is best for you and your body. more

I just recently had laser resurfacing on a few acne scars. The doctor informed me each procedure would cost $300. After the procedure my total amount was $350. I know taxes are included but i'm trying to understand why the taxes would cost so much. I did not pay for any additional products except getting an ice pack. Read my previous question even though it got cut off I'l just mention procedures I want. Hairline lowering, nose job, acne/acne scar removal, chin and jaw job, liposuction on my cheeks/lips/ other parts of my face, cheekbone implants, and veneers. I'm also thinking of getting eyelid surgery to open up my eyes a bit they're not closed but they just seem chinky and dull sometimes, and I also might get botox/collagen injections on some parts of my face so they don't sag as much and seem dull. I might also get fat injections around my body because I'm really really skinny, probably due to my nutrition which is/would be (hopefully) explain in the next paragraph(s). So I'm fifteen and I've been suffering back acne for about two years now. The acne is gone but I have a bigger problem, it left a WHOLE back full of scarring. Now I know a lot of people will think, "You're fifteen, you shouldn't worry about it since you won't see half of the kids in high school once you're older and blah blah blah." But here's the thing, I have a lot of hypertrophic scarring from my acne. My questions are: (prefer if it's an American answering) What age can I become leligable? Average cost? Will the insurance pay for some of it since it's basically a cosmetic surgery instead of medical. Since my whole back has scarring and I can estimate about a hundred hypertrophic scars are there, how many sessions would it take to eliminate or at least reduce those scars until it's barely visible? more

I've had these acne scars ever since I was 8 or 9 now. I had a bump, I popped it and for years it left a scar. Every bump I've got on my nose since now and then has turned into a scar. Ok so i have acne scars but theres one in particular on my cheek. Its not indented it just looks like a discoloration. I've had it since last August...so 11 months. I've unfortunately accumulated a number of acne scars and my dermatologist tells me laser surgery isn't an option until the rest of my acne is gone completely - which probably won't be for another couple of years, at least. I get that you can't completely get rid of them. I guess they are like permanent scars. But thats just like saying that you cant get rid of scars. Its true you cant get rid of them but you can make them less visible. Just like acne. Just like anything. It takes time. But what rly makes me mad is that I've seen ppl ask questions like these on yahoo answers and the majority of ppl that answered says you can't get rid of them and they stay with you forever. That can't be true. Its just like saying once you have aids you can't get "rid of them". Its just that they haven't found the cure yet. No trolling pls, first of all I am a guy, I have this 3 annoying little acne scar bumps on my nose since I was in 9th grade that I dont like, I have looked in the mirror and covered them with a finger and I look great, which is why I want to start using that bit of makeup i mentioned, I have no idea how to remove these since they are not craters which are usually the case for acne scars, creams do not remove bump scars, and getting some kind of laser surgery is way off the budget. I will enter college soon and need that bit of self esteem. Hello, I'm curious - I have mild acne, oily skin, and the likes. I have blemishes, and minor scarring. Couple days ago I did and 18% TCA peel (from M.A.C), and just in case all goes wrong, or I don't get the results I want... is there a recommended expensive treatment, like from a plastic surgery or dermatologist clinic that could remove minor scars (maybe one deeper ice pick one) in one shot? It can cost 1-2000$, any of you ever tried anything in that area of cost? more

I have extremely deep scars on my chest from acne. the doctors couldn't do anything except expensive laser surgery that i can't afford. I got prescription retin-a. it's faded the redness a little, but the holes are just really deep. i've tried plenty of cover ups, even ones meant for tattoos, and NOTHING will cover the marks. anything else i can try? :( more

When me and my bf started dating I was 16 and he was 21. I don’t know why he got with me but I had low self-esteem (thank you media!) so I put up with a lot of bull that I now regret. He pretty much would call me ugly to my face and thought it was funny cuz I would laugh too (low self esteem) and I knew he was embarrassed of me cuz he never took me out with his friends. Since I was in middle school I’ve wanted a nose job and my bf says stupid things like ‘I love you even though you have a big nose’. I just want people not notice my huge nose first! When I imagine how it will be to get it fixed I start tearing up b/c I want it so BAD! I also want to get glycolic peels to rid myself of the stretchmarks all over my body. I am on phentermine and losing the weight I gained with the baby. I REALLY hope to get down to 120 in a year (40 more lbs to go!). I want microdermabrasion to fix my acne scars and large pores. I want breast implants to fix my breasts which have sagged all my life. When I was going 13 and going through puberty I learned I was fat so I stopped eating and lost rapid weight resulting in saggy breasts. And I would also love to get a Brazilian butt lift b/c people have always made fun of how flat my bum is. Wanting this stuff done is what is really motivating me to finish college. Instead of getting a nice car when I graduate I’d much rather save ½ years salary and get this done when I’m 23. Its what I dream about. Well when I told this to my bf he said I was stupid and I didn’t need any work done and natural is always better. OK, I have never put on make up on before, but I'm considering using concealer, and only concealer due to acne scars, I mean wouldn't it be better to just wear some make up rather than pay 2500$ for painful laser surgery or dermabrasion? I think so. But, my questions are, one, can concealer cause break outs? And two, can it give you black heads? Do they make an oil free concealer that wont clog your pores? OK so, this is a question about a guy (me) wearing make up. I've never actually done it, but researching, i think it will be a good thing for me. I'm just going to use concealer because, when I was in my early up to mid teen years I had HORRIBLE acne, its gone now, and I only occasionally get a pimple now and then, but, I unfortunately have bad acne scars. Hi, My mum had really bad acne when she was a teenager and now, 40 years later the scars are still visible. They are like craters, quite bad dents in her skin. I was wondering if there was anyway these could be improved without the need of plastic surgery or anything? Any natural remedies or any creams you know of to make them better? If not please let me know what kind of procedure she would have to go through and prices in order to get this fixed.
