I got a keliod scar from a car wreck about seven years ago. It's about three inches long. I have had it cut out, cotizone shots, and lasered. I found the laser to be the best, but mony is tight right now. Given all that, what would be a good product to help improve the appearence of the scar? I know most of this stuff is snake oil and expensive.

I had a tumor removed from my back last October, ( was benign ) but since then the scar which is about 6 in long has turned into a keliod scar ( an overgrowth of tissue ) which makes it very raised sore and itchy, been to docs and he gave me steroid tape to stick on it for 12hrs a day, this gave me headaches and made me feel sick but did keep up treatment, but it has not worked, what I want to know is does anyone know if there is any other way to heal it, has anyone else had this, please advisebpg2504 where do i get this gel from is it over the counter or from docs, thanks for the advice
