Resolved Question: can someone help me with the thesis statement of my essay?
My teacher told that I have to elaborate the thesis statement using examples from body of essay. I do not know how can someone help with that. it is narration essay. thank u in advance for ur help. Everyone loves sports stars. They seem like heroes because they can do what most people cannot. However, to become a successful athlete takes countless hours, practice, and hard work to polish up the skills needed to accomplish your goal. My first experience of half a marathon taught me that success, whether on the soccer field, in the classroom, or in our daily life takes dedication, confidence, and a lot of hard work. Running in the national half marathon of 13 miles, was one of my goals that I always wanted to achieve. However, I wanted to make my goal become real, and the only way to achieve it was to join the team of my city. In 1998, I became a member of the racing team of my city. After I had overcome many obstacles, such as improving my speed time and getting my body to become accustomed to running a long distance, I was chosen to participate in the national marathon, which was hard to get into unless you had the required timing, which was two hours and thirty minutes to participate in the national half marathon. The day that I had been waiting for had come. It was a great day, cool and bright. I had a great feeling that day because my dream had become real. I arrived at the marathon start area at 10:00A.M. I greeted my coach and I joined the rest of my team. One hour before the starting time of the half marathon, all my team and I got dressed and start stretching and warming up to be ready for the half marathon. The starting area of the half marathon was crowd; it was obvious that people had come from different parts of the country. There were many participants who spoke different Moroccan dialogs. At that moment, I noticed that there was a group of special spectators who were sitting in special places and were members of the parliament. Every runner was nervous and excited about the marathon. We all lined up on the starting line. At that time, the only question that came to my mind was how far I could go in that half marathon. In fact, I was completely positive that I could finish the half marathon. The starter’s gun fired into the bright blue sky over of the town, Oujda. Fifty nervous runners took off from the bridge in the town. It was 1:00P.M. on April 20, 2000, and the first marathon race in my life, it had just begun. Almost thirteen miles away, in Mlaab Charafi stadium, 40,000 people waited to cheer the winner. Everyone of my team hoped that I would win the marathon. At that time, I remembered the advice that my coach always said, “You have to love a sport to do it and to do it well, be self-reliant, ambitious, and always challenge yourself to do better”. The beginning of the half marathon was difficult because it was crowded. Therefore, to avoid falling or getting hurt, I tried my best with the members of my team to get away from the crowd. For this long race, thousands of spectators lined the uphill road from the marathon to the stadium. The first five miles was all smiles and chatting with my friends. At that time, a runner whose number was 13 was far in the lead and fallowed by two men from other cities. Not one of my team ran among the leaders. The next three miles seemed to be difficult because we were about to face a hill which was almost three miles. I pushed onto the bottom of the hill, shortening my stride and slowing my speed. I could feel my calves burning as I finally reach the top. When I reached the last final miles I felt that my body wanted to shutdown because it was drained of its glycogen. In fact, I was totally exhausted, yet still wanted to continue on. Several minutes later, as I ran by, I heard the spectators encouraging me by saying. “Faster!” The anxious spectators urged me on. The leaders were far away from me. I calmly said to myself, “I will overtake them all”. Meanwhile, the number 13 runner was still leading the race followed by the runner number 25. The third runner had fallen down and he couldn’t continue. As the road climbed toward my city, I pushed myself to my limits and even beyond. I ran smoothly past the number 25 runner and for a few meters I was running neck to neck with number 13 runner. Soon, I sailed into first place, but I could not keep it. As the race was getting to the end I was running almost teen feet ahead of the number 13 runner. I was in a difficult situation since I was running neck to neck with number 13 runners whom I tried to pass him. The audience helped me to not give up. The crowd said, “Come on! You can do it .Do not give up. You will be the winner”. Hearing that motivation I increased my speed while I was racing toward the finish line. As I crossed in victory, the crowd went wild and roared in delight. I was exhausted, and my coach held me up as he congratulated me on my victory. The loudspeaker announced my nam moreResolved Question: will this case fit my guitar?

On Oct. 5, 2009, history was made. A superstar who never seemed to see light at the end of the tunnel finally made it out of there. It wasn't too long ago people doubted Mike Mizanin, due to his MTV reality show background. I mean I've seen MMA fighters turn pro wrestlers. We've all seen NFL players become wrestlers if only for one time (Lawrence Taylor and Steve McMichael come to mind). Hell, we've even seen chairmen and CEOs step inside the squared circle at one time or another (the McMahon family). Yet reality TV stars? Jonny Fairplay doesn't count. Enter Mike Mizanin, better known to wrestling fans as The Miz. Now I'm not going to pretend I actually liked The Miz at first because I didn't. Well I did, but wasn't sure what to make of his skills. He seemed like a cool guy and I dig MTV, but was never into The Real World or Road Rules stuff he was apparently on. But hey, it helped him get a spot on Tough Enough 4 (aka The Million-Dollar Tough Enough) back in 2004. For those that don't know or remember, Tough Enough was a reality show (Miz's specialty) that was like the American Idol show of professional wrestling, where a number of hopefuls would compete until one (or in some cases two) competitors remained, winning the grand prize—a World Wrestling Entertainment contract. The Miz came short against eventual winner Daniel Puder, however, as the first runner-up, he certainly gained valuable exposure and was signed to a developmental (minor league) deal with WWE in 2005. After a number of dark (untelevised) matches throughout 2005, The Miz finally debuted for WWE on their Smackdown! brand in 2006. Unfortunately for the Cleveland native, he would serve as more of a host or on-air personality rather than doing what he always wanted to do—wrestle. The Miz finally got that chance in the Fall of 2006, having a nice streak of wins until coming across the beyond-weird presence of The Boogeyman. Needless to say, it was tough to take the pretty boy seriously when Smackdown! commentator John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) constantly bashed him. Then again, it's normal to have doubts about any new superstar. Those that doubted The Miz should have known better, considering his past TV experience only strengthened his preparation for his wrestling career. At least entertainment-wise. That's the key word—should. After floundering in midcard limbo on Smackdown! for months, The Miz was drafted to the ECW brand in the Summer of 2007, where he was able to truly flourish. A feud with Balls Mahoney and a stint as a self-proclaimed chick magnet, complete with the Divas brought back memories of The Godfather and his special train, albeit with a twist. It wasn't until The Miz crossed paths with John Morrison did the magic really happen (not THAT magic, sickos). Following a brief feud with then-ECW Champion CM Punk (capped off with an impressive showing at Cyber Sunday 2007), The Miz started interacting with another up-and-comer in John Morrison. Sure, Morrison had a sudden stint as ECW Champion prior to their interactions, but he was definitely not ready to carry the extreme brand. The two styles clashed. One was a handsome, over-the-top Hollywood-esque star with abs of steel. The other, being The Miz, a self-proclaimed chick magnet, who made fedoras look good. The unlikely duo became WWE Tag Team Champions in November 2007 and their chemistry strengthened, as did their reign until it ended in July 2008 at The Great American Bash. Throughout their reign as WWE Tag Team Champions and later on, World Tag Team Champions of the RAW brand, the two provided fans with great comedy and entertaining matches. A majority of the comedy came via their hit WWE.com show The Dirt Sheet. Started in late-2007, the show still runs on the website semi-regularly, even after the team's split. It's tough to sum up The Miz and Morrison in a nutshell, but they were the best tag team to come along since the days of Edge and Christian, Dudleys, Hardys, and APA. And that's saying something for present-day WWE tag teams. Their run together led to one of the longest WWE Tag Team Championship reigns in recent memory, the highest rated show on WWE.com, and two Slammy awards. Most importantly, it gave both men great exposure and showcased their potential as singles stars. When they were split up via the 2009 WWE Draft, many predicted John Morrison would be on a collision course to main event status sooner rather than later, while The Miz would have a harder time plying his singles craft.Yea i had to Go On Bleach Report but The Question i Came Up With moreResolved Question: Help! I think I've sprained my ankle! I have a race in 2 weeks, what am I suppose to do?!!?
I've been training for my first half marathon for 4 months now and last week just when I gotten into running outside on the road, the lower part (just above my ankle, not the whole shin) started to hurt - like a sprain does. I thought I'd run through it and the pain seemed to go away at the time, but now the pain is getting worst. So I've stopped running since last week, nursed my leg etc, but what I'm asking is should I give up on the race? Or should I carry on training? I don't know if I'm over reacting or not, there isn't any swelling or bruising, but I get the feeling I'm not far from 'snapping' something in my lower leg. Is there a special secret professional runners do, to get over quickly minor injuries? I really want to race! moreResolved Question: Can I Sue And Press Charges? (Scam Involvment)?
Okay So This Might Be Long but ima summarize it LONG Story short. then the email posted below. So I Was Looking for used cars online. and i found a 06 Honda Accord for $3,500..it only had 24k miles and leather interior! i thought it was to good to be true. so i email the guy then he emails me back saying he was going through some events and left to Moscow Russia and that he needed to sell his car quick. so i was ACTUALLY buying this. then today in the morning i recieved ANOTHER Email from another 'seller' he was selling an 05 Maxima for $2,856 with leather Interior and low miles. so now that 2 people emailed me i snapped and knew it was a scam..specially since the maxima seller gave me a link to the photobucket site and there username was "maxx050" which im like. if they are scaming me? why the hell would the but the first 3 letters of the can and the year? and the x0 to cover it up? anywho. it's only been emails at the moment. nothing *no money* has been involved. but i know for sure if i keep talking to them they'll scam me with the cars and all... Here is the site from where i learned it was a scam. http://www.used-car-advisor.com/car-buyer-scam.htm P.S. its the very first one under Attention Seller. and here is the message he sent me Via Email. And one more thing. Wtf? read the first sentence and see how he put "my nameS are" then his name...wow..bad bad scammer *nods head* rofl ---------------------------Email Starts Here---------------------------- Sorry for the delayed response my names are ***** ****, but I'm in Moscow (Russia) right now and I have been very busy.Anyway, thank you for your interest in buying my 2006 Honda Accord EX. The car is located in USA right now and has US papers. Why is the price so low? I am going trough a hard time with my job, and I had to move out of USA I cannot register the car here, as it is made for USA, according to USA standards. So all that I want to do now is to sell the car at this price, because I need to sell it fast(I already made a deposit here to buy another). The title is clean and you will have absolutely no problems to register the car in the States.I will tell you a few words about the car.. My car has automatic transmission it is in Alabaster Silver Metallic condition with 24,467 miles and have the VIN number: 1HGCM66506A032197 , rust free , no scratch and hasn't been involved in any accident. The motor runs very well. The interior looks great(NO SMOKING).This car needs nothing, the title is clear ,it is not a salvage one. I want this transaction to go smoothly enough as I am caught in the middle of some very important events and have little time at my disposal. I already have tons of emails so I hope you understand that I need to sort them out. The car is like new, in perfect conditions, accident free, no scratches, no special marks, no need for additional repairs what so ever. a genuine road runner ready to be yours, but only if you shall understand and you won't make me loose time as it has already happened to me. Here are all the photos of my car in the attachment below. The pictures are recent, and they were taken right before preparing the car for sale. The car is exactly as shown in the pictures. The price is $3500 USD THIS IS MY LAST PRICE.I will not negotiate the price.I will take in consideration only those buyers who are really interested in buying the car ,to be sure that I don't waste my time with endless discussions. This way,I shall be assured of the serious intentions . Before leaving I had prearranged shipping and also the payment with eBay motors. so my presence in U.S isn't necessary(The car is locked in a eBay motor warehouse Chicago ready for delivery). The price of car $3500 includes all the shipping costs and insurance, so you won't have to pay any extra charges. Here is what I suggest: we will use eBay which acts like a service , you make a deposit in an eBay managed trust fund ( they hold the money until you receive the car ), and send the car over( the car will be delivered with the title, owner's manual, 2 sets of keys, service records, and of course the bill of sale authorized and signed by me),I will offer a 5 day period from the day you receive it from the shipping company, you can inspect it, take it to a mechanic to check it out, drive it and then if you decided to keep it, you'll confirm to eBay motors the sale and they will send the payment to me. If, by any reason, you will not be satisfied with it ( even though I can assure you that it is exactly as described), you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your money, no questions asked.I think this is more than fair for the both of us. NOTE: The deposit (down payment) is refundable, and is just a security measure, to make sure that you are serious, and that I am not going to ship the car, and loose time and money. If you are interested to go ahead with the deal, please reply with your full name and full shipping address moreResolved Question: A repost to Julia and her racism?

Would you care to comment on this good memory of a past Christmas?
The Great Christmas of 1956 by C.S.Scotkin Christmas was always a good time when I was a child. My eighth Christmas was magic! Mother, to her great credit, tried to make Christmas wonderful and usually succeeded. We awakened to a fresh cut tree, strung with bubbling lights, some glass ornaments, and best of all, paper chains my sister and I made from construction paper, homemade paper snowflakes, garlands of popcorn and cranberries. Santa usually managed a few candy canes. Tinsel filled in empty holes. My sister and I ran down steep old stairs, courting a broken neck if we slipped. What had Santa brought? My pile contained the usual doll, along with paper, crayons, tape, new socks, underwear and a book. My sister received much the same. There was a Parcheesi game for us to share. My stocking held tangerines, nuts, a set of jacks, dominoes and pick-up sticks. There was a tiny box, hidden in the toe. The box held my first piece of jewelry, a birthstone ring! It was too big; I wore it on my middle finger. I had never seen anything as beautiful as the cool blue of that heart shaped aquamarine. However, I really wanted a sled, hoped and prayed for a sled. I asked Santa at Woolworth’s for a sled. No sled under the tree meant using an old cardboard box for another winter. Still, Santa brought a real ring. I was part of a great extended family. Rather than be bankrupted in an attempt to give everyone a gift, names were exchanged. These gifts would be the centerpiece of Christmas afternoon at my grandparent’s house. The fragrances of evergreen, sweet and savory spices enveloped my family with love as we went inside. Warm cheeks on cold cheeks as you were hugged by aunts and uncles were more special on that day. We played with our cousins, tried to sneak another piece of my great-grandmother’s penuche. The sugar rush added a new dimension to the mischievousness of 20 children under the age of 11! As the years went on there would be 36 cousins. Gifts we brought were added to others under Grandma’s great tree. Soon, Grandpa sat in his rocker, a stogie scented Santa, began to call names. You never knew what package was yours. The tags were always hidden. The huge pile shrank. Still my name had not been called. Finally, a small box was picked up, my name called. This box was big enough for another pair of socks, I thought. I glanced at my sister, enchanted with her real china tea set. She shrugged with a smarmy look on her face. I opened the box to find a note. “Go to the back porch, there is a package for you” I ran out, slamming the door. There was a large, round thing with a ridiculously tiny bow and mismatched wrapping paper. I tore away the paper to reveal a bright shining Flying Saucer with red handles! Much better than a sled! All my friends at school had talked about them, how fast they were, you didn’t have to wax runners and they didn’t rust. Now, I owned one! I ran back in to get my coat, boots and mittens, nearly incoherent with happiness. The snow was fast and powdery that year. I went to the top of the hill in back of Grandma’s house. I sat cross-legged, pushed off! My cheeks burned from rushing cold. I felt delicious terror, unable to steer this great disc, finally tumbled off at the bottom. Complete, total joy repeated three times before being called to dinner. The feast was enormous; everyone brought a favorite side dish or dessert. We all ate too much. Little ones soon became cranky, and then fell asleep on the floor or a lap while adults talked. I loved to listen. I absorbed family history and local gossip while pretending to look at a book from Grandma’s library. My Aunt Violet came over to me and whispered in my ear. “Do you really like your saucer?” My hug said it all, and she hugged me back. All too soon it was time to go home. That Christmas vacation I was the most popular kid on my road. I let everyone try the saucer. I had it for years, passing it down to sisters, every year a few more dents, handles frayed. I loved that saucer for teaching me a most important lesson. I could fly and be free. moreResolved Question: internet with no phone line?

I was mowing the yard when a little boy came up to me and asked if I wanted a baby duck. He had the little duck in his hands. I took a peek and realized immediately that it was a baby mallard. I asked him where he got it. He said his dog brought it to him and that his mother had said no when he asked to keep it because they require a special license in Indiana. I didn't see anything wrong with the baby, and it seems to be doing very well. I'm assuming that he brought me the duck because you can see we have a duck pen from the road with two black runner ducks in it that we have had for some time now. I need somekind of captive animal permit to keep this little baby in Indiana. I cannot find the application on any websites. I need to know if that's the right name for the permit and how to go about obtaining it, and are these exceptional circumstances to keep this duck? moreVoting Question: Trying to get Time warner cable cheaper..
