I want to project from my Toshiba Satellite M115 to the Epson Powerlite S1. I do not have the CD that came with the projector and I cannot determine which drivers of the three listed at Epson I need. more

Resolved Question: TV keeps pausing for 1-2secs and resumes as normal, then it pauses again...?

whats the problem? ive got digital downstairs in my living room and only yesterday it started to get sketchy, like the picture quality is still the same but only on certain channels, it starts pausing for 1-2secs and then resumes as normal, and this happens constantly. i dont think its the sky digital as i have sky in my room and its perfect on my tele so i think its the tv with the issue. why is this happening? how can i resolve it? how did this happen in the first place? i have a 42" toshiba projector tv. more

Resolved Question: Connect to another monitor with Linux Ubuntu.?

I just recently started using Ubuntu 9.1 and I love it. I love the whole set up of the software and everything but I have one issue. I have an s-video slot that I use to connect to my television that will not work. I do not know how to connect to a projector using this certain OS. I use the s-video slot daily and I REALLY want to get this to work. I have a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7437 if this helps. It is a 5 pin s-video so there is no audio. I have set up my playstation to my projector and i can see the picture, but i cant get any sound because on the back of my projector ( Toshiba TDP-T9 ) you can only fit the yellow cable in, there are holes that say audio in and audio out but the white and red cords don't fit in them?? I have a Toshiba laptop and just bought a Sharper Image mini projector to watch movies and play games. It works great for my X360 since the cords plug right in on the side, but I don't know how to connect my laptop to the projector, or what cords I even need to do it. I have a toshiba satellite p100-429(windows xp). The screen just stopped working as if there was no power going to it but the rest of the laptop is fine you can hear the start up music. i plugged in the external monitor and from what i already know i think i am supposed to press the fn and f5 key to change but this does not seem to be helping. Once i tired to connect it to a projector using the fn keys but it did not work for me that time either. any help would be greatly appreciated. more

Resolved Question: Toshiba rear projector TV just shows snow (but DOES show Video1 feed fine)?

Model: Toshiba TP50G90 (50" rear projection tv) . This is an old model (1997), so I don't have much hope, but money is tight and I'd rather not have to purchase a new TV if I can repair this one for under a few hundred dollars. Basically...for the past few months,. the TV has been acting up where sometimes we'll turn it on and it would be extremely staticy (loud static noises and the screen would static out at the same time as the noise). Usually if we turned it off and back on it would be ok for the night. More recently, we'd turn it on, and it's just snow, but again turning it off and back on a few days seemed to get it working again. Now, it's just snow, and if you leave it on long enough the TV shuts itself off. I know it's not the cable because we brought down a small portable TV and plugged the cable into it and it works fine on the little TV. And, it won't show anything from the DVD/VCR. ** BUT ** I tested with my PS2, and on Video 1 it DOES show the game, crystal clear. It seems to be only the TV mode that doesn't work. Any ideas what is wrong? Can it be fixed? Thanks more

We have this Toshiba projector for use in a a bar and grill. We have cleaned it often and most recently had to replace the lamp. Now the lamp won't work and we have even tried another new one (for $400). Is the projector shot or is it something we are just overlooking? more

Resolved Question: What can I use in subsitution for an old school outer screen on a Toshiba 48inch Bigscreen?

I have a 48 inch tashiba bigscreen. It is the old school box style with an outer screen, one that goes "ZIP" when you run your finger across it. It has grooves in it that make it zip. You all know what I am talking about. It filters out the Lens flare light from the rear projectors. I smashed the crud out of this thing and despreately need an alternative solution, Tashiba no longer makes these screens for my model and, even when they did they were around 300... I just bought the tv and it flipped in the truck. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me... my wife is so pissed at me right now. lol :/ Thanks more

Does anyone have a used bulb for a Toshiba TLP-S10 Video Projector. I have been given one as a donation to my local charity but it has no bulb or bulb housing. I would really like to give this to the children's group that helps make kids smile with a working bulb but I have found the cost to be around the £200 mark for a new one. Resolved Question: How do i get my projector to work with my laptop?

I was given a projector (toshiba tlp-s30) but i cant quite get it to work with my laptop, its on xp. When the laptop is off and i plug in the connection for the projector (which is on) and i start the computer, i get the opening images of windows through the projector, but when it gets to the windows log in screen, the projector screen says theres no signal coming through. i cant see an option in windows to change the output for the laptop. where am i going wrong?when the laptop is switched on, the projector doesnt pick up a signal. the laptops kinda old, it doesnt have a switch for putting on the projector. more

I'm trying to connect a Toshiba Data Projector to my Sony Vaio laptop but I keep getting a 'No Input Signal' message. I've looked all over for a solution to this problem (I checked and rechecked the connections, changed the resolution ) and nothing seems to be working. Can anyone help? ::::Someones Experience:::: Well I’ve concluded after a lot of search that LED projector should atleast be 60 lumens, 500-1 to 1000-1 contrast and should have USB or SD card slot. LED projectors brightness level is somewhat better than the conventional lamp based projectors so anything in the range of 100 lumens in enough. Also the biggest advantage of 20000 to 30000 life hours :-D I am now a happy owner of 'Samsungs sp-p410m' LED projector which is absolutely brilliant. Couldn’t find it online in UK so ordered one from Korea :p yep i liked it that much :p it has SVGA 800 x 600 resolution, brightness 170ANSI, 1000-1 contrast ratio and 80 inch projection which looks stunningly bright, vivid and crisp on my not so white wall. oh and it has digital keystone correction too :-D inputs are VGA, composite & USB. its around 750$ but worth the money as it will last for 10 to 15 years. I recommend following in order, but plz give specs a LONG good look: 1-Samsung sp-p410m 2-Benq gp1 3-Toshiba TDP-F10 5-Samsung sp-400 4-Acer K10Please give your suggestions or share your experience. Voting Question: how do i hook up a projector and a external monitor to my lap top?

I can hook up the monitor to my lap top just fine, or hook up my projector to my lap top just fine ( using a s video for the projector and the regular cord that is attached to the monitor. ) but i cant get both external displays to work at the same time. i know it is possible, how do i do it? the monitor is a KDS usa and the projector is a BENQ PB6200 my laptop is a Toshiba satellite P205-s7804. thanks for your help SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE. more

Voting Question: Will DVDs look better on a 854 by 480 projector or a 1024 by 768 one?

Toshiba TDP ET10U or Sanyo PLC-XW55A, basically. I'd spend probably 40% of the time watching DVDs, 30% of the time playing PC games, and 30% of the time playing consoles (mainly older ones) on it. Can someone who knows about projectors and scaling please advise? It's 350 for the tosh and 400 for the Sanyo. Thanks! more

I recently bought a Toshiba TDP-T30 dlp projector from a friend and now it broke somehow. I tried using the trouble shooting guide and it said that if there's an issue with the lamp that certain lights colored with certain colors would be blinking. According to the trouble shooting guide, there is a: ⇒ Problem with projector • Unplug the power cord, and contact your dealer. what great help huh? But now when I plug it in, a little blinking orange light is supposed to be on to show that it's in standby, and well, it isn't. I was wondering if it could be a fuse that got blown because I took out the lamp and examined it to see if it was alright, and it appeared to be. The darn thing is extremely hard to take apart, so if I could get a link to somewhere on how to do it, that would be extremely valuable to me. more

For Christmas this year (’08) I got my first laptop (Toshiba Satellite L305D) I will be using that computer to create and present many training programs using PowerPoint presentations. My question is this, what do I need to connect my laptop to a projection monitor and/or another computer?
