Voting Question: how do I hook up two projectors to my laptop?

I have two Sharp dlp projectors that I am trying to hook up in our church to a laptop. I have them set up (from projector to laptop...) RCA to coax....100ft of coax....Coax to RCA adapters.. then RCA to VGA. the VGA is from a VGA splitter. I have had to hook up a monitor to one of the VGA outputs. We can hook up a DVD to the RCA cable and get video, but not if we hook up the computer to the projectors. Is the laptop video signal not strong enough and could we use some sort of amp? My budget is about 700$ for the projector itself. I am living in a 6-man dorm room next year, and we have a HUGE white wall to project on. I want to get a projector that we can hook up TV, video games, and laptops to. So a couple of questions/facts. 1- The room has a lot of windows. So the brightness output is pretty important, so over 2000 lumens I think at least. 2- What do I have to do to have it project TV without it being a crappy little TV projector with a built-in tuner? Do I have to run it through the other tv's in the room (2 others on a stand below this) 3- Suggestions on projectors? Here are the 3 I am looking at right now. ANY help is greatly appreciated. 4- I think one of those little switchboxes from radioshack would be the most efficient right for all of the cables? so in order to run only 1 set of cables to the projector? I have a Sharp XV Z1000 projector that will easily connect to my laptop when the projector is set to receive a signal type: "A. Comp." or "A. RGB." The other options that don't work are: "D. PC RGB" "D. PC Comp" "D. Video RGB" "D. Video Comp." I assume the D and A stand for Digital and Analog, but I'm confused because i thought computers put out a digital video signal and it seems as though the A. options are the only ones that work. I'm trying to set up my desktop with the projector and when i attach the projector, it says it is not receiving any signal. I have tried all the signal types listed above and nothing. I need a way to hook up my old sharp HD projector to my new laptop, which uses an HDMI port. The projector has a DVI input that I plan on using. I would also like to use the same HDMI port for digital audio from the laptop to connect to my 5.1 receiver...through either toslink or coaxial cable. I have a 800 sq. ft. apartment. My living room, where I'll have the projector, is about 10 x 25. Im looking for a projector that I will be using on a regular basis for tv(hd satelite box), movies(standard dvd for now), and video games(xbox 360 with hdmi hookups). Im not sure how many lumens I need. I'm just a little afraid of the picture being not bright enough since I will be using the projector on a daily basis and anything but a perfect picture will get annoying.Outside light will not be a problem because I will be blacking out the windows with 100% window tint. Not sure what screen size I'll be going with but will probably be a 100 inch motorized screen. Hello world. I have two video projectors and both of them have a problem with the bulb/lamp. They are quite old models and I have been quoted +/-400 eur each for a bulb... As a new "avarage" projector costs 500 eur I guess it would be silly to buy a bulb, however I have heard that repairing or building a replacement bulb is possible. I realise all the fire risks etc of this, but would anyone have any Idea how to go about doing a home repair (projector is a Sharp XV310P and an InFocus something or other)... Many thanks. more
