Open Question: Make website hosted with Dropbox/domain w/ GoDaddy appear in Google search?
I've got a problem regarding a website I manage and was wondering if anyone could help:
I use Dropbox to host a website which I use forwarding and masking with a .com address I purchased from GoDaddy. I submitted the site to all the major search engines but it will not appear on any of them. I know you have to give it up to a few weeks but it is going on week 3 and still no luck. I remembered that I had to "verify" a site I had done in the past with Google by uploading an html file so I tried doing that. The problem is I have no idea where to place the file. Either that or it does not work at all.
I have had success with this before but had hosted the site using MobileMe and I believe I followed a tutorial online, regardless it worked. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get it to appear? I know there are many other factors that go into it but even typing in the exact url into Google does nothing, which would have brought up the MobileMe-hosted site right from the beginning.

Okay, so I started a blog a few days ago centering a PC game. It already has 20 posts and will have tons more with the days to come. I found out about this scholarship through Fastweb, but when I went to their website and submitted a poem for one of their contests, it looked a little shady.
They said I was a topical winner, which means I won no scholarship money, but would be published in one of their anthologies. They claimed no owner's rights, so I said okay, maybe I could receive some recognition or something. However, they sent an e-mail asking me to buy the poetry books from them. Doesn't this mean that they are making money off the authors and not the public? Are they actually stealing our poetry or something? It just seems a little strange to me.
I also looked for the books through search engines and ebay and other such sites, but all of the results turn up with nothing. Do these books even exist?(JUST POETRY!!!, Inside of Me anthology, etc)

I submitted mydomain.com to google a week back and the Google robots crawled my website and indexed them. Unfortunately I resubmitted my url mydomain.com few days back. But for the past few days I dont find mydomain.com in the google search engine rather there are cached pages from mysubdomain.110mb.com
Now my question is- Is my website mydomain.com takes longer to be indexed because i resubmitted my website? (or)
Is my website mydomain.com been penalised because of the duplicate content? (that is my own website mysubdomain.110mb.com that really points to mydomain.com)
I guess it should be the second case because I saw some posts in 110mb forum as such. Now can any body help me out to resolve this problem? I do not want google to index my sub domain with 110mb rather I want mydomain.com to be placed again. What can i do?
I found certain answers through other websites after serious search:
* Need 301 redirect from mysubdomain.110mb.com to mydomain.com (or)
* Use of robots.txt to stop google displaying mysubdomain.110mb.com
* Use of some base (I guess this is right)meta tag in the head section that points to mydomain.com
I tried with use of robots.txt : Here is what I did
Created a folder in my file manager of free host (110mb) named robots.txt and placed the following files index.php ,robots1.txt and robots2.txt
The index.php has following code in it :
