I am always doing things to try and make her feel good. SHe had a child before we got married and only seems to care about whats important to him. The father has never been in the picture and here i took on a load of responsibility. I work 55 hours a week to support our family and im told im not there for her. We were having a rough patch so i surprised her with a hotel room when i thought her son was going out of town. I decorated the room had some candlelight going and even got her a new outfit for the night. Her son didn't end up going out of town so i thought we could at least get a few hours of alone time together and come back that night. Her son is 15 years old. When we got the hotel and realized we were not meeting my dad there for dinner she didn't seem so excited. Her son then called when we got to the hotel and said there was a strange car int he driveway. I said ok lets run home make sure he is ok and then go back to the hotel. We got back home everything was fine but she didn't want to go back to the hotel. I ended up spending the night by myself. Is this normal? more

Open Question: I need to evict a roomate on the lease. How hard is it going to be?

This is the story: I am originally from New jersey but relocated to Florida last year, with plans on returning to New jersey this summer. When my lease ended in February, I had to decide whether I wanted to get an apartment and try subletting it, or if I wanted to rent a hotel room until I left in June. I reluctantly and very hesitantly decided to get an apartment and perhaps a roomate to watch the place with me. I met my roomate two weeks before we signed the lease together. We had to use My credit, my references, my rental histroy, my rental references, and my two years worth of pay stubs. She had no credit, had never rented, and only had one pay stub that said she made about 50/w (she had just started a job and only had her training paycheck). My apartment complex caps annual wages at 28k/y. I made an avg of 26 on my own. I signed my lease first and my name is on it first. That all being said, this is what happened: My best friend died at the end of April and so I made plans to leave earlier then usual (actually a week after signing). However, I paid April's rent and May's rent, painted the apartment, and set up everything so the place could be kept nice. Her and I agreed to rent out my bedroom to a tenant for the summer to cover my half of the rent. I gave her the master bedroom because she said she was bring furniture to furnish the entire apartment with. The deal sounded pretty good...I told her I trusted her with the well being and the respect of my apartment, and I eagerly anticipated my return in September. Until I sent my mother and sister there unannounced and uninvited to check up on things....and the pictures and the tales they came back with are haunting. There is still NO furniture in the entire place. We are now infested with cock roaches which have a great diet since there are so many bags of trash in the kitchen, no one can walk through. There are boxes and bags in piles covering the entire living room allowing only a pathway. There are used tampons on the kitchen sink next because the trash is so overflowed. There is evidence someone has been staying in my room, which is funny....because I have mysteriously been unable to fill the room this entire summer. Though, I'm positive I've figured out why. So since we signed a one year lease and she has had the apt for six months and ruined it, when I return next week I plan on kicking her out and moving someone else in for the final 6mnts. How much ground do I have to stand on? My dad's best friend is an attourney and he said with the mounting evidence (pictures, etc), that my claim to evict will hold up in court. But I'm not fully convinced. HELPPPPPPP more

Open Question: What to do after my house fire?

On Tuesday this week, my house caught fire. Our family of 5, including 3 children escaped unharmed. The damage was pretty extensive and the fire marshall and the insurance adjuster are calling the structure a total loss. We were buying the house on contract and there was only enough insurance to cover the mortgage on the house and the demolition. Our possessions were not covered by renter's insurance. Basically, everything we had is gone. There are some scraps of wood furniture that might survive the water damage but all our clothes, electronics, mattresses, couches, etc are ruined. The bright side is our landlord says he will give us the land the house set on after the mortgage is paid by the insurance company so we will own it free and clear. My question is what to do now? Is there any assistance, grants, etc available to victims of fires to help with what insurance does not cover? Are there any forgiving mortgage companies out there that can use the value of the land as a down payment and look past bad credit so we can rebuild on the same land? Do any of you have any advice on anything we might be overlooking? The American Red Cross has given us a small food and clothing allowance and my father's church has paid for a hotel room until a week from Sunday. Any assistance, guidance or advice during this trying time would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. more

I am bringing my family to Las Vegas next year, but I'm finding it rather difficult to identify a hotel that can accommodate five in one room. Most seem to have a maximum of four, even though they say they're family friendly. The bigger complication is that a room that has two queen size beds would be fine for us, but most of these hotels have issues with the number of occupants; do you think we'd be alright just booking a quad room and turning up with five? well i moved to conneticut after living in maryland for 10 years of my life (im 14 now) all my friends are there and i was extremely happy then my mom and dad moved so i was like fine ill adjust again( i move all the time even though it was just in maryland) but i lived here in this house for 5 years my family hates me my friends were my second family my own father hit me with a hammer one day and my mother only fights with him and when important things happen takes his side ex: the hammer so i came to conneticut and we lived in a hotel until we got into the house school started when i was in the hotel so i had to go to school in the hotel my little sister had a new wardrobe for school but no one had yet to even think about getting my any cloathes so i went to my new school with old cloathes they also didnt have clean cloathes either and refused to wash them when i asked and forced me to go to school smelling horrible then when i saw the house my mom and dad told me i would not be getting a proper room in the sence that it would not have A DOOR or a CLOSET because its a DEN but my LITTLE SISTER gets the big room with the WALK IN CLOSET and a DOOR because even though crime is non existant since we live in conneticut they expect her to get raped if she sleeps in the den so that tells me they want me to get raped so after all of this mess they think im crazy for exploding one day...... i want to die i have no friends in conneticut i dont even care about friends ill never have a second family like in maryland i hate it i hate every moment of my life and if i could i would run and just never stop get far away ill do anything im broken i have lost it all i cant listen to music cause they hate my music i cant get new cloathes even though i dress very normally because they hate the way i dress i cant play football because i cant buy the cleats they threw out i cant even stop my self from being mad i shake uncontrolably when im as mad as my parents get me and they blame my 2nd degree assult case on the fact that i exploded under this mess ( i defended my self but they would let me get a proper deffence lawyer and forced me to plead guilty) all i know is that they blame all the problems they have on me and my sister takes advantage of it im tired im angry i wish to quit but i have no where to go my other family is either too poor to take me in or hates me because im not my little sister the state is my only way out i tried cousiling with them all i know is is that they dont like me and im tired of them treating me like this im done.......tell me how to get out more

Okay I'm a guy and bi. I'm not open to everyone about my sexuality but I am open to close friends. Well I have this friend, we're always together and he doesn't know about me. Open Question: Tips for living and working in Banff, Alberta?

Hey, three of my friends and I are wanting to go live and work somewhere in BC or AB, we've done some research and Banff seems pretty appealing to us. All up there will be four of us, all males, aged 18/19 from New Zealand. We are wanting to go to Canada about October, November next year for ski season. Is this a good time to arrive? We don't want to miss out on ski season, because we're keen snowboarders. We want to work for a few months then travel around BC and AB for a couple of months as well. We realise its expensive so were saving now but thats why were hoping to get jobs. We will probably take any job we can get, but working at a skifield, bar, hotel etc would be great. Any tips on applying for jobs? Should we go to Banff first and try and apply for jobs or send a resume to some places before we leave? Also what sort of accommodation is there is Banff? We're looking for a room or small house preferably for four of us. A cheap place, we're not looking for luxury haha. What would living costs be like? Any other information about Banff would be great. Whats the nightlife like? What sort of shops, bars, restaurants are in Banff? We're also keen to get out and do some hiking around the area, Lake Louise etc. Any tips would be appreciated. I said "No, not really (smiling of course)" and he laughed and I saw his cute dimple and he walked away to pass out more papers. Than he came back and said something like he had to count and make sure everyone had a paper (telling me why he was acting like a "dad") I never saw him talk to any other student (but it's only his 2nd week). So here is what happened. I work on the road most of the time and I spend many nights in various different hotels across the state. One night I checked into a room and sat down on the bed. I was on the cell phone with my wife and all the lights were on. After hanging up my phone I opened my laptop to check my email. My wifi internet connection kept dropping off, which is common, - so just reset connection and continue. This happen several times so I just decided to shut the laptop down and check it the next day. As I shut the laptop down I heard a strange sound. I could not pinpoint were it came from, but I knew I had never heard anything like it before. The best way I can describe it is it was like a ripple through the air. The sound did not freak me out but it did make me look up and start to look around to see what made the sound. I first looked at the air conditioner....Nope and I stated scanning my eyes from the left side of the room to the right. When I was looking over my right shoulder...SOMETHING grabbed my arm above my elbow. I froze with fear. Whatever it was was completely invisible but definitely hand two hands with fingers and thumbs. I could see imprints on my flesh which later became bruises. Anyways what ever grabbed me VIOLENTLY started to shake first my arm then my whole body. In an Explosion like manner it knocked me over on my left side. While laying there in a state of complete frozen fear and panic something inside me told me to reach for a Bible. So I leaned over and reached into the dresser on the left side of the bed. There was a rushing over the sheets like a river of static energy and I felt it weight on top of my legs. In the dresser there was no Bible, so I clinched up and rolled back in the direction I was attacked from. I opened my eyes to see if anything was there and I still didn't see anything but my sheets were splashing around super scary style. I reached into the dresser on the right and pulled out the Bible. I opened and was about to read the words aloud when I felt the rushing energy across my bed come to a focus on the right side of the bed by my right knee. It distracted me and I looked down to see the bed being pressed down like something was sitting or standing on it. Immediately I opened the Bible and began reading the first thing I saw. I most have woke everyone on that floor open cause I was screaming the words as I read them. As soon as I started to read the words aloud. Whatever was rushing across my legs and was pressing down on the bed dissipated. I read for seemingly forever until my gut told me to leave. Strange things. 1. I don't use drugs. I was not on any medication and I had never even considered any kind of experience like this to every really happen to anyone. 2. Before this event, yeah I believed in Spirits and Demons, but I was certain that they couldn't harm a believer. As far as I was concerned they only attacked non Christians. 3. All lights were on, I wasn't seeing things not already in the room move. 4. The Bible in the dresser was a used Bible, most are never even opened. Also, there were dog ears and underlining throughout the whole book marking key passages that comforted me as I read them. My question is what really happened to me. And if I was attack why would God allow this to happen to me? Additional Details I WAS NOT ASLEEP! It happened with in 5 minutes of hanging up the phone with her. She saw the bruises. Those of you who have rude remarks your remarks don't concern me this was a real frightening experience. I either was attack or had an episode. So back off! 1 year ago No Ouija boards...no occult. I have been ministering to someone in a family that I believe may be involved in actual satanic worship? I hope this isn't what caused it because I believed the kid in that family I have spoke to mainly was starting to come around, more

Ok so I'm having my daughter christened in December she'll be 9 months old its a joint christening with her cousin (who's a boy) , we've already sorted the church out and now i just need ideas for afterwards. We'll all be going back to a reception room in a hotel near by. I need ideas for decorations and entertainment. I know a lot of people have children's entertainment but these are the first baby's born into the family for years so there won't be that many children going. He painted pictures of me, of us on our first date or of the first time we saw each other, he wrote poems, he would listen to our song on repeat...He would always say he felt like he was dreaming, and he would go anywhere with me and i didnt have to do or try anything he thought i was so amazing,hot, special n cool no matter what i did. he was so jealous at the thought of me ever finding another lover in life and so worried about me leaving or changing my mind. he talked about me to everyone. he professed his love for me to people. we were gonna get blood vial necklaces. he would smother me, pour himself all over me, be lost in each others eyes, like soulmates. we WERE angelina and billy bob. He lived 40 min away and since my roommate didnt want him over or spending the night all the time, he would get a hotel room and he did this many times just to be able to see me and stay with me and it was getting expensive. He would risk his life driving in snow storms on the highway just to come see me. But i couldnt stop him from coming over even when i said no. he would come over even when i was sick just to be able to sleep next to me. So he decided to move to my town and he stopped working in the other town so we could be together and go to school together. I had never felt so secure, so elated in love. Not long after, he completely changed, but I stayed the same, i loved him and still had the passion and excitement. but he just thought of me as annoying, uninteresting, wouldnt take a second glance at me very often. he put his work, his drawing and even his computer games before me. he wanted me to leave him alone a lot and not say i love you too much or show affection too much. And now he has left me, so seemingly easily. Just let go. I am pretty much traumatized at how this could be. How could this be possible, how could this happen and how could such a drastic change take place and transform him into a completely opposite person? This is all just too unbelievable. I'm SURE I've dreamed of something for the past 3 days but I can't remember any of it.Anyways, I decided to include my dream diary entries for the past 5 days so you can gain an idea on what I'm talking about. August 29 - woke up at 10:15 am (my 2nd sleep; I sleep every from 11pm-2pm then 7-10am) Dream: The dream is pretty long but I'm an active and aware participant in it where it basically shows new ideas and HOW I really want my script to run in stage. I also gained new raw ideas for other novels and short stories. NOTE: This dream is very detailed and LONG (very) and gave so much real life effect on me that it reawakened my interest to draw comics. August 30 - vaguely aware for the most part of the dream but I became fully aware just in the near end - however, the elements in the dream woke me up just as my phone rings Dreams: 1st Dream- Somehow, I've dreamed of a mosquito biting on an arm of someone (not me). Personally, I think this has something to do with the fact that I've been hearing many stories about people that I'm a little familiar that have been confined because of mosquito related sicknesses. 2nd Dream- All of a sudden the scene shifted to this one, this one was the dream that I really became aware of and you'll see why. I suddenly found myself in hotel room (that I already checked in at some point in the past) with this girl in my class- um... cutting to the chase she was in the middle of giving me 'oral' and a bit more than that. I hope this doesn't sound too graphic to people but I really need to give the details of the dream. As for this dream, I would like to mention that I've kinda hooked up with a girl just a few hours before going back home and falling to a brief sleep. August 31 - another 2nd sleep - this dream marks the decline of my lucidity. I can only remember "screenshots" of the dream. Dreams: I was walking in a soil bridge with no suspension or support whatsoever and it's headed into a storm/tornado thing but apparently, although the bridge is long and the storm seems close I can never get anywhere near it. 2nd dream: I totally forgot what it is all about only that it's something a little emotional. I'm feeling emotional when I woke up and I'm sure it has something to do with whatever I dreamt of. Sept 1, 2, 3: I remember NOTHING. Can you give any possible interpretation? By the way in real life, the entire month of September is going to be a very stressful, busy and schedule tight month for me. Does that has anything to do on why I'm suddenly not remembering any of my dreams? Please help. And can anyone possibly give me an interpretation on some of my dreams? My boyfriend of just over a year-and-a-half is leaving for university in a week. I'm happy for him, as it's pretty much his dream course. But the thing is, I'm going to be devestated when he leaves. I'll miss him so much. I'll hardly see him at all - the university is quite a distance from where we live now, and it costs to keep going back and forth. We're going to spend one last day together before he's gone. But here's the problem - I don't know what we should do. Obviously we want it to be a place where we're completely alone, but that's pretty hard to come by in our situation - my brother is always around (my bf's best friend, who doesn't know about our relationship). The only way I can think of is if we book a nice hotel room, but they're a minimum of about £60, and he has to save his money for uni, and I don't have that much money to burn. I just want to spend a memorable last time with him. There is such a sense of lovely innocence surrounding our relationship, due to us knowing each other pretty much all eighteen years of our lives, so it has be a respectable place. Hi! Originally my fiancee and I were going to get a hotel room on a beach that's about an hour and a half away from where we'll be living for our honeymoon (next march) but my hubby-to-be can't swim and is terrified of the ocean and I don't reallly LOVE it either.
