moreOpen Question: Does anyone else in the bay area not really like SF all that much?
Don't get me wrong, San Francisco is an extremely interesting place. A lot of culture, a lot of interesting people. But I would NEVER want to live there. Rent is ridiculous and the people there, for the most part, seem snooty and arrogant. Homelessness is rampant. I was in the Mission last week and I saw, in this order: an unmistakable pile of human feces just sitting on the sidewalk, a fresh piss stain on a building and a pile of vomit, all with in a 3 or 4 block radius. Then a transvestite came up to me and didn't ask, but demanded a cigarette. After I gave in he'she gave me some lecture that was so incoherent I can't remember word 1.
Again, I have had some amazing times in SF since I moved here from New Hampshire about 6 months ago, but it's too much for a small towner like myself. I'll stick to Berkeley, Oakland and other amazing spots throughout the East Bay.
moreOpen Question: 2010-2011 NFL Predictions NOW!!!!!!?
10 days until the regular season begins...just to let you know I'm not biased my fav. team is the Raiders and look where I put them...
AFC WEST
San Diego...10-6...Chargers are still contenders because of Rivers of course.
Denver...8-8...The Broncos have a talented team, but right now they are the most injured team in the league.
Oakland...7-9...Even if Campbell doesn't do well, Gradkowski is a good quarterback who can win.
Kansas City...4-12...Without Eric Berry I would have them at 2 wins.
AFC EAST
New York...12-4...Forget what skeptics are saying already, the Jets have a TEAM this year.
New England...10-6...Until Tom Brady retires, the Pats are going to get at least 10 wins every season.
Miami...7-9...The Dolphins have improved, but it's a tough division they're swimming in.
Buffalo...2-14...With the first pick of the 2011 draft, the Buffalo Bills select...
AFC NORTH
Cincinatti...10-6...Carson Palmer, Chad Johnson (I mean, Ochocinco), and Terell Owens: most dangerous passing core in the league.
Baltimore...9-7...Best defense, improved offense, tough schedule.
Pittsburgh...7-9...Ben comes back when the Steelers are in a 1-3 hole to start the season.
Cleveland...4-12...Hopefully Colt McCoy isn't the new Brady Quinn.
AFC SOUTH
Indianapolis...12-4...The Colts win 12 games every year, this is no surprise.
Houston...The Texans have a team that's ready to do something this year and compete with the Colts for the division title.
Tennessee...Chris Johnson is the best back in the AFC, but Vince Young has not proved he's worthy of leading this team.
Jacksonville...3-13...Jack Del Rio will have a tough time lighting a fire under a team with little depth.
NFC WEST
San Fransisco...11-5...Alex Smith is finally ready to take a talented team to the playoffs.
Arizona...8-8...They lost Anquan Boldin and more importantly Kurt Warner, two key players in a used-to-be offense.
St. Louis...5-11...This is assuming the Rams' coaches make a smart decision and don't start Bradford all season, to let him make the best transition.
Seattle...4-12...Rebuilding takes more than a year.
NFC EAST
Washington...11-5...Donovan McNabb is set for a fantastic season, the Redskins have a good front D and three household-name running backs.
Dallas...10-6...There are going to be high expectations this year, but Dallas will let down, failing to make the playoffs.
Philadelphia...9-7...McNabb is out, Westbrook is out, but the Eagles still look strong on offense.
New York...6-10...Eli Manning will be looking for a new team next year.
NFC NORTH
Green Bay...12-4...Remember when Aaron Rodgers was drafted and no one could figure it out because Favre was the man in Green Bay for a while? Sometimes it takes six years for a quarterback to be the most dangerous in the NFL.
Minnesota...11-5...Speaking of Brett Favre, the old man is going to have another impressive season with good receivers and the best running back in the league, and Jared Allen will win defense POY honors.
Detroit...8-8...All those draft picks are coming together to form a pretty good looking future for the Lions.
Chicago...2-14...The Bears will go 0-6 in the NFL's toughest division.
NFC SOUTH
New Orleans...12-4...Drew Brees throws the ball very quickly to a group of fast receivers all day long. That is a nightmare for defensive backs.
Atlanta...10-6...The Falcons have enough this year to make a wildcard run. Look out for Michael Turner.
Carolina...5-11...One of those "boring teams', they just lack any explosive and really talented players.
Tampa Bay...Struggling offense won't get you anywhere.

YOUR TURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!@Kyle: super bowl teams in the past few years were surprises (seattle in '06, bears in '07, giants in '08, and cardinals in '09) Experts always pick the two best teams for the super bowl , but that definately hasn't been the case
moreResolved Question: Yankee fans: Was that an amazing game VS Oakland at the Stadium?
Not to discredit A's fans, because with Cahill IS a great pitcher, now 14-5 so we know that when he pitches, the A's DO naturally win. So that's the extent of my piece on how awesome he is, because we're probably going to hear from "Yankee Haters" (it's a popular term now that I see what's going on with Y!A in the baseball section) that the A's suck and that the Yankees SHOULD have beaten them regardless, and this and that, and this and that.
So Yankee fans: Are you starting to get into that September, post season run atmosphere? Was Cano not amazing last night, and are you starting to get excited for the AL East/Wild Card lock down?Freedom: You guys already got the AL West locked up with the Rangers, the question is though how is Cliff Lee and the rangers' rotation going to perform in the ALDS and ALCS is they even make it that far?

moreResolved Question: Is the "I need my space" a kiss of death?
My girlfriend has said this to me but I fought back by ignoring a few of her phone calls and 3 texts and responding about half an hour later. When I was at her place she made plenty of sexual advances and took a photo of her boobs. Also she loved to keep me close. I gauged how much she cared by saying I was going to sleep in East Oakland and she predictably reacted in a nervous way saying we're through if I go there. But she did a negative when she didn't respond to my call which was to tell her I came home safely. I don't know whether or not all this counts as a positive or negative situation for me. She said her life is busy which makes sense since she is back in High School and her parents won't let me see her during the school days. I'm not as good as I used to be back in the day but I think I still have a chance with her.She also showed some form of jealousy.
moreResolved Question: Would any or all of these have happened in 1994?
It seems like the more you learn about baseball the more upset you become about the 1994 strike. Not only did it cause there to be no World Series for the first time in 90 years, but it also stopped several unique feats from happening. Do you think these things would have happened if the 1994 season had gone until the end of September instead of the middle of August:
1) The Montreal Expos would have won the National League Championship and possibly the World Series: The Expos ended the season with a record of 74-40 (.649), 6 games ahead of the Atlanta Braves in the NL East and the best record in all of baseball. The New York Yankees had the best record in the AL with 70-43 (.619).
2) One AL West team would have become the only team ever to win a division with a losing record: Texas was 52-62 (.456) on August 11. Oakland was 51-63, Seattle 49-63, California 47-68.
3) Tony Gwynn would have hit close to .400: His record through August 11 was .394.
4) Matt Williams would have broke Roger Marris' home run record: Williams hit 43 home runs in 112 games. Couldn't he have hit 19 more in the remaining games?

moreResolved Question: What do you think about this divisional re-alignment?
In my opinion, the current MLB division system is flawed. There are an average of 5 teams per division, yet the AL West has only 4 teams and the NL Central has 6. This means its harder for the average NL Central team (the Cardinals, for example) to go to the playoffs than the average baseball team, just as it is easier for a AL West team to go to the playoffs.
On top of that, look at the AL East. Three of the best teams in baseball are stuck in one division.
Plus there are 16 teams in the NL and 14 teams in the AL. Something needs to be done.
So, what do you think of this system of having four divisions with four teams each, like the NFL (please note that 2 new teams would be necessary for this. I have upgraded two minor league teams, the New Orleans Zephyrs and the Las Vegas 51s, to the American League):
AL EAST:
Baltimore Orioles
Boston Red Sox
New York Yankees
Toronto Blue Jays
AL WEST:
Las Vegas 51s
Los Angeles Angels
Oakland Athletics
Seattle Mariners
AL NORTH:
Chicago White Sox
Cleveland Indians
Detroit Tigers
Minnesota Twins
AL SOUTH:
Kansas City Royals
New Orleans Zephyrs
Tampa Bay Rays
Texas Rangers
NL EAST:
Atlanta Braves
New York Mets
Philadelphia Phillies
Washington Nationals
NL WEST:
Colorado Rockies
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Diego Padres
San Francisco Giants
NL NORTH:
Chicago Cubs
Cincinnati Reds
Milwaukee Brewers
Pittsburgh Pirates
NL SOUTH:
Arizona Diamondbacks
Florida Marlins
Houston Astros
St. Louis Cardinals

Greenbay Packers-21 vs Indianapolis Colts-31@Roger619 I actually do think the Lions will show some upside late in the season.. they'll start off slow like at 1-6 but Matthew Stafford will start showing what he can do.. Him and Calvin Johnson Jr. will be dangerous and threatening like shaub and johnson.. I actually see them gettin in the playoffs the 2011-2012 season if they build on defense and add another reciever to compliment stafford@Eric You will see actually how good the eagles are! Kevin Kolb will be a beast next year.. D. Jackson is a beast.. They have one of the best recieving team in the league! D Jack (top 10 WR), Jeremy Maclin, Trent Celek!!! And if LeSean McCoy have a good season they're gonna be dangerous!!! U mite be rite about the Lions I didnt get the chance to look at there schedule@FAVRE How can you possibly think that the Ravens will get worse this year than last year.. doesnt make any sense

moreResolved Question: Why oversea Chinese never understand appreciation?
Most oversea Chinese I knew are from Silicon Valley, almost 80-90% of them are from the remote rural area of China and start at the bottom of the society;
If not for the free education, for them even the high education is free, and free government housing and per-Diem, they probably would just end up as a farmer just like their parents.
And according to China's prime minister, 80-90% of China's elite University students are from rural area.
But None of them ever feel any appreciation to the education, housing they received from government? None of them feel any appreciation to the tax payer (in china. peasants do not pay tax, only 7% of population is tax payer) that pay for it.
If they were born at East Oakland, they would probably end up as drug dealer or prostitute before 20s and would consider themselves lucky if they made 40s.
WHY?

moreResolved Question: Did you see this DWI illegal accused of ramming police vehicle urinated in pants?
Gastonia police arrested a man for allegedly ramming an officer’s vehicle in an attempt to drive away from the scene of an investigation Wednesday morning.
Julio Cesar Mendoza Agustin, 28, of 2112 Camelot Court, Gastonia, was charged with hit and run failure to stop involving property damage, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, driving while impaired, not having an operator’s license and having an open container in his vehicle after consuming alcohol.
Officer J.A. Hallman was attempting to pull over Agustin’s vehicle about 9:50 a.m. on South Oakland Street, near the intersection with East Fifth Avenue. After coming to a stop, Agustin shifted his vehicle into reverse and intentionally struck the patrol car occupied by Hallman, according to an arrest warrant.
After Agustin was detained, police also found he did not have a driver’s license and discovered the open container of alcohol in the car. Agustin also urinated in his pants, according to a warrant affidavit.
Agustin was held at the Gaston County Jail, pending a first appearance in court Thursday. The Gaston County Sheriff's Office also placed a hold on his release pending an Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigation into his immigration status.

Will he get the dream act he is still under 35 ?
moreResolved Question: Obviously the season hasn't started yet but what are your predictions for this year?
Here are mine
AFC East
Pats 11-5 (Still better than any team in this division but their lack of pass rushing will keep them from being SB calibur)
Dophins 10-6 - Good team that's been coming around.
Jets 7-9 - This team was able to beat an over rated bengals team, and the san diego chargers who only make the playoffs because they play in the worst division in the NFL. But they downgraded their rushing attack and will have to rely on Mark Sanchez to put points on the board. Ms. Sanchez is far more concerned about her hair than winning so this wont be a very good team.
Bills 5-11 They're the bills what can you say.
AFC North
Baltimore 12-4 A decent team last year that had a great off season. They could very well be the SB team for the AFC this year
Cincy 10-6 - Cincy isn't great but their good enough and have had a decent off season. I think they will be a wc team
Pittsburg - 8-8 - If pittsburg is lucky they will finish at 500. But this team wont have their starting QB for a few weeks and troy p will only play if he's one hundred percent, if he so much as breaks a nail he's out.
Cleveland Clowns 3-13 - Manjackass will come up with game plans that ensure this team has no chance of winning.
AFC South
Indy 12-4 - Still a good team, no reason to think they wont win this division even though I think the other 3 teams might be in the mix of the playoffs.
Titans 11-5 - I think they showed they're a tough team last season and they have one the best running backs in the league.
Texans - 10-6 - Another winning season, no playoffs though :<
Jags 9-7 A tough enough team but Del Rio has to go for them to be legit contenders.
AFC West
Chargers 10-6 win the division get their asses kicked in the playoffs.
Chiefs 8-8 - an improving but not there yet team
Broncos 7-9 strong start as usual weak finish
Raiders - 4-12 same old oakland
NFC East
12-4 Dallas is pretty good and will win this division
11-5 GMen - the gmen are still a good team and will play decent throughout the season
8-8 - Foreskins - A team that will show good improvements with a new coach and qb, but they wont be playoff bound in a single year
6-10 Eagles - As nelson munns would say HA HA. They traded their starting qb and michael vick is getting into more trouble
North
Packers 11-5 - They're a good team and wont fall to many times this season
Vikes 10-6 - A move might become very distracting to them. Remember the browns in 95, vikes are likely going to have to make a decision sometime this year and it wont likely be to stay in a stadium for outrages rates when they can move to the LA market
Chicago - I told Jay Cutler I think the bears will be third in the division, he tried to throw a punch at me an it got intercepted. Then he tried to throw a tantrum and that got intercepted too. He sees what I mean.
Detriot 8-8 finishing at 500 and making progress.
New Orleans 13-3 still gonna be at the top of their game, perhaps wont win back to back sb's but still gonna be a force
Atlanta 11-5 a good team that is moving in the right direction
Carolina 6-10 no reason to believe they wont suck
Tampa Bay 6-10 still to young of a team to be a force
West
Seattle 11-5 Pete Carrol and a few free agents will make a difference. This team will suprise some people this year.
9ers 10-6 Getting back on track but I think the hawks are better
Cards 9-7 not a bad team but not a contender anymore
Rams - they wont even bother keeping track of their losses this season
moreResolved Question: 2010 NFL Season Predictions?
I looked at all the schedules and picked who I thought would win each head to head game, here's what I thought. It may seem a little ridiculous in some parts, but just be nice! What are your predictions? I think there will be a lot of teams with very good records and a lot with very bad records, I don't think there will be many with records near .500.

I figure they'll beat the Colts this year, as much as I don't want them to, and most the teams they play have a weak pass defense. The Eagles on the other hand, have an incredibly difficult schedule, and I don't see Kolb getting the job done, at least not until late in the season. Even Andy Reed can't work his magic this season, in my opinion.

"Six New Orleans police officers have been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of civilians on a bridge in the days after Hurricane Katrina.
Four officers are alleged to have opened fire on unarmed people on the city's Danziger Bridge. Two died and four were hurt in the 2005 incident.
Two supervisors are accused of joining the four officers in attempting a cover-up in subsequent investigations.
The six accused have so far not responded to the charges.
According to the US justice department indictment, police officers Kenneth Bowen, Robert Gisevius, Robert Faulcon and Anthony Villavaso opened fire on a family on the east side of the bridge on 4 September 2005, killing a 17-year-old boy and injuring three other people.

moreResolved Question: Should Major League Baseball Face Realignment?
Look at Major League Baseball. You have two divisions in which four teams probably could end up in the Playoffs, two really weak divisions where no teams should be in the playoffs, a division with four teams and another with six! It's very obvious that Major League Baseball's Alignment is messed up right now, as needs to be fixed. I've come up with two systems that could work, and give each team an equal opportunity to make the postseason.
First System: Expansion; add 2 teams to the American League
If we 16 teams in both leagues, we can 4 divisions with 4 teams. Each Division Winner makes the Playoffs, no Wildcards. Divisions would be like the NFL.
North:
(NL)
Chicago
Milwaukee
Cincinnati
St. Louis
(AL)
Minnesota
Cleveland
Chicago
Detroit
South:
(NL)
Florida
Atlanta
Houston
Arizona
(AL)
Tampa Bay
Kansas City
Texas
Oklahoma City (Expansion)
East:
(NL)
New York
Philadelphia
Washington
Pittsburgh
(AL)
New York
Boston
Toronto
Baltimore
West:
(NL)
Los Angeles
Colorado
San Diego
San Fransisco
(AL)
Los Angeles
Portland (Expansion)
Seattle
Oakland
Or...
Second System: No Divisions; top 4 teams go to playoffs.
No Divisions, just National League and American League, each team plays the equal amount of times (or close to it) and the Top 4 Teams (based on record) go to playoffs.
I like my first system better, but what do you think? Should we see Realignment, Expansion, or nothing at all?
moreResolved Question: What do you think of my 2010-2011 NFL predictions?
Before you simply glance and comment, please understand that a lot of research went into this. I have been obsessed with the NFL for over 20 years, and know nearly every team and player inside and out, along with the styles and tendencies of most of the head coaches.
Others that have seen my projections have laughed at a few, not realizing things have changed dramatically for a lot of teams since last season. The two examples that immediately come to mind are the Oakland Raiders and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Oakland Raiders have sucked for quite a long time. During this time, I have had plenty of fun poking jabs at my friends that are Raiders fans, but I must admit the truth - they had one of the better drafts of any team in the league. They also acquired Hue Jackson to call plays (last season Tom Cable called all the plays, and we see how that went) and got rid of their problem players. They picked up Jason Campbell at QB, which is a much more significant acquisition than people realize. Everyone is quick to point out that he is average. The thing is, he was average to slightly above average, and did it behind arguably the worst OL in NFL history for at least the past 3 seasons. The big difference here is that the Raiders have an above average OL, they just didn't have a QB that could use that to their advantage like Campbell will. I'm not saying they're contenders, but they will make a noticeable improvement from the past several seasons.
As for the Eagles, they have set themselves farther back than people think. Anyone who thinks they have a solid shot at the postseason this year is delusional, or just doesn't know football. Donovan McNabb may be aging, but nobody can argue the fact he extends plays and drives. He was a huge reason for their multiple NFC championship appearances, and without him, it is very likely they would not have made one of those trips. Kevin Kolb played a few solid games, but a few solid games are not enough to base anything on. See Matt Cassell as an example. What did he do in KC? Absolutely nothing compared to what he did for the Patriots. Kolb is unproven, and until he is proven it cannot be assumed that he will carry the team the way McNabb did. The Eagles have a few up and coming young players, but they are just that - young. Young is usually also unproven.
You can't expect the Eagles to lose their top player and achieve the elite play they've been accustomed to bringing for the past decade, especially in the toughest division in the league, just like you can't automatically shoot down the Raiders based on their abysmal past.
That being said, here are my predictions for the 2010-2011 NFL season.
AFC East
Miami Dolphins 10-6
New England Patriots 10-6
New York Jets 8-8

Before judging me or screaming bias, I am a Redskins fan, and I didn't even pick them for a playoff spot. And I hate the Vikings and Ravens. Judge accordingly, but at least bring facts to back up your argument. Try not to be homers.Notice the guy that said it was poorly thought out and told me to find a new hobby didn't give any constructive thoughts? I swear, you can spot Eagles fans a mile away lol. Either that, or he's another one of the many delirious Panthers fans on here that somehow think they are contenders.
moreResolved Question: What do you think of MLB realignment?
ESPN was talking about it tonight and I've been thinking that MLB really needs some sort of realignment and I propose a couple scenarios such as realignment without expansion and realignment with expansion. This is just for thought so your more than welcome to add some suggestions, but in the meantime here's mine..
Realignment without expansion-
NL East-It would be good to create a DC and Florida rivalry, especially seeing Florida is getting a new stadium.
1.Toronto
2.Washington
3.Florida
4.Baltimore
5.Tampa Bay
NL Central-Six teams in a division is too many
1.Milwaukee
2.Chicago Cubs
3.St. Louis
4.Cincinnati
5.Pittsburgh
NL West
1.San Francisco
2.LA Dodgers
3.San Diego
4.Arizona
5.Colorado
AL West-I don't think it makes sense there's only 4 teams in the AL west plus I feel The Astros and Rangers would be a good interstate rival
1.Seattle
2.Texas
3.Oakland
4.LA Angels
5.Houston
AL Central
1.Chicago White Sox
2.Minnesota
3.Detroit
4.Cleveland
5.Kansas City
AL East-This would be the "power" division. There's no real weakling in this division hence it would be very entertaining and competitive right down to the end.
1.New York Yankees
2.Boston
3.New York Mets
4.Philadelphia
5.Atlanta
Realignment with expansion-This would be drastic realignment which would make the divisions identical to the way the NFL's divisions are aligned
NL
1.San Francisco
2.San Diego
3.LA Dodgers
4.Arizona
1.Milwaukee
2.Chicago Cubs
3.St. Louis
4.Cincinnati
1.Toronto
2.Baltimore
3.Pittsburgh
4.Washington
1.Atlanta
2.Florida
3.Tampa Bay
4.(Expansion) Charlotte, Orlando, Indianapolis, Nashville, etc.
AL
1.Seattle
2.Oakland
3.LA Angels
4.(Expansion) Las Vegas, Portland, San Antonio etc.
1.Texas
2.Houston
3.Kansas City
4.Colorado
1.Chicago White Sox
2.Detroit
3.Minnesota
4.Cleveland
1.New York Yankees
2.New York Mets
3.Boston
4.PhiladelphiaFor those who feel there should be no realignment, why do you feel that way?
moreResolved Question: Can I Get Some East Coast/Southern Recommendations?
Another question reminded me of something I've been wanting to ask for a while...
I'm looking for East Coast/Southern/Midwest alternatives to the West Coast artists I listen to. I don't necessarily know how to classify what my preference is other than "fun lyrical Hip Hop", lol. Here's what I tend to bump...
Bukue One, Lateef The Truth Speaker, Lootpack, The Grouch (And the rest of the Living Legends), Globetroddas, Dirtbag Dan, Del, Myka 9, MC Zumbi, Crown City Rockers, Blackalicious, Nocando, AWOL One, Oakland Faders Buck 65...and then some of the lighter stuff done by The Visionaries, Orko Eloheim, Planet Asia, Ginseng Roo...
Hopefully that can give you an idea of what I listen to. I'm not looking for the "West Coast Style", because I don't really think it exists so concrete, but rather just some fun lyrical music like the dudes I mentioned (I'm a huge Nappy Roots fan). If you have any ideas, please let me know!Who doesn't like Grand Puba, lol!
I used to live in the A, so I'm very familiar with YSS.
Both are definitely worth the listen though. Thanks!

moreResolved Question: What do you think Open border activist I cant remember name in court but can remember name at rallies?
On May 20, 2010, Nativo Lopez, President of the Mexican American Political Association (MAPA), former MEChA organizer, ousted Santa Ana School Board official, and open-borders advocate made one more in a series of appearances in Los Angeles Superior Court relative to felony charges by the Los Angeles District Attorney of voter fraud and other serious allegations related to registering and voting in Los Angeles while residing in Orange County.
Conviction could result in up to three years in prison. His preliminary hearing, now set for July 12, was postponed by Lopez’s repeated refusal to identify himself to the court at each appearance and the decision by Commissioner Kristi Lousteau in March to assign him for mental-competency determination before continuing with criminal proceedings. (http://orangejuicelbog.c/2010/05/nativo-lopez-update/)
Nativo did not have any problem identifying himself on May 18 as a leader of the protest at Staples Center against Lakers coach Phil Jackson’s comment that Arizona’s new immigration law is irrelevant to basketball. He was also named as an organizer of the huge May 1, 2010, Los Angeles Immigration March, mirroring a similar event in 2006 when he and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa stood shoulder to shoulder in televised news interviews.
On its website, the Boston Branch of the International Socialism Organization just announced that Nativo Lopez will speak at its upcoming 2010 conference in Chicago in June and Oakland on July 1, which should allow him time to return for his next appearance in Superior Court and, hopefully, remember his name. (www.bostonsocialism.com)
On her current re-election campaign site, Green Party Mayor Gayle McLaughlin of Richmond, CA, www.greenpartywatch.org/tag/nativo-lopez/ shows a photo of Nativo Lopez at her kickoff, speaking not only as the National President of MAPA, but also as National Director of Hermandad Mexicana Latinoamericana, “…a community service and advocacy organization for Mexican and Latin American immigrants throughout the United States.” But the CA Secretary of State’s site indicates both Lopez’s Los Angeles-based MAPA Mexican American Political Association National and the Santa Ana Hermandad Mexicana Nacional corporations are suspended.http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/cbs.aspx
This begs the question whether East-LA-born Larry Lopez (aka Nativo Vigil Lopez), really speaks for Mexican Americans in general, and, more specifically, whether he represents the views of MAPA, a historic, respected Latino political organization that advanced such notable Mexican Americans as former Los Angeles Councilman and later Congressman Edward R. Roybal, into important political and leadership positions. A recent Los Angeles Daily News story, “MAPA’s success leads to its decline,” quotes Jose Sandvoal, president of Young Latino Democrats of San Fernando Valley, describing MAPA as…such an old school Chicano organization…which isn’t very relevant to my generation today.” (Daily News, April 19, 2010)

Now the reason i left was because thinks weren't going to well, she cheated on me, beat me a few times given me a black eye among other things, the verbal abuse was really bad and hateful I know i was stupid for staying but i just thought i loved her and didn't want to abandon my kid, now i want to know if its possible to get full custody because I think she is unfit to be a mother and the house and area she lives in is horrible, her mother and older brother(parolee been in and out of group homes, still a meth addict) smoke weed everyday inside the house and its not a enviroment i want my child being exposed too. I just want whats best for him
thanks in advance
moreResolved Question: How about this idea for realignment?
No more A.L. and N.L. but East and West
In the East we have
Atlantic
New York Yankees
New York Mets
Philadelphia
Pirates
Red Sox
South
Marlins
Rays
Baltimore
Atlanta
Washington
North East
Chicago White sox
Chicago Cubs
Blue Jays
Indians
Reds
In the West
Central
Tigers
St. Louis
Kansas City
Minnesota
Brewers
South West
Texas
Houston
Arizona
Colorado
Oakland
Pacific
Dodgers
Angels
Padres
Giants
Seattle
We can make a uniform set of rules, better geographical rivalries, Chicago, New York, Los Angelas just to name a few and Tampa doesn't have to worry about the Yankees in their division but still get their draw when they visit.
