Resolved Question: Is this a sign violence along the US/Mexico border is on the decline as Obama and La Raza claims?

NEAR MISSION — Gilberto Aguilar paid the ultimate price. The drug smuggler had just delivered 300 pounds of marijuana to a customer for his boss in early February. Aguilar went back there several hours later to steal the load back for himself. The customer recognized him by his voice, Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño said. That would spell the end for Aguilar. Sheriff’s deputies arrested three people in connection with Aguilar’s slaying and the possible killing of his suspected hit man. Aguilar was found beaten and shot to death Feb. 6 in a field near the intersection of Mile 11 1/2 North and Texan Road. His boss, whose name authorities did not disclose, allegedly leads an Hidalgo County-based marijuana wholesaler that would typically deliver several-hundred-pound loads to area clients, Treviño said. When the boss learned Aguilar angered one of his customers, he sought revenge. Investigators believe Aguilar, an illegal immigrant, was kidnapped and taken to a house on the 2600 block of Ken Street — north of the intersection of Mile 5 North and La Homa Road — and was beaten with brass knuckles before he met his fate at the end of a gun barrel in a rural field. He was found with a gunshot to the chest and Rata — Spanish slang for thief — written on his head. The homicide case remained open for several months until Texas Rangers and Department of Public Safety narcotics investigators working their own investigation into the smuggling group helped “fill in the missing pieces,” Treviño said. That allowed deputies to move in and make the three arrests Wednesday. Information learned from those arrested — who have given confessions — led investigators to the body of the second suspected homicide victim, Treviño said. The individuals arrested Wednesday told investigators the body of Aguilar’s hit man could be found in the backyard of the gang ringleader’s house. The family of the hit man, whose name was not disclosed, has not seen him since May, the sheriff said. Sheriff’s deputies and Texas Rangers raided the house on Ken Street under the sweltering midday sun Wednesday afternoon. Later in the evening, county workers continued to dig in the backyard. They finally reached the remains about 8:15 p.m. — buried about 9 feet underground, beneath two layers of concrete and a chicken coop. Investigators sifted through the earth to ensure they didn’t miss anything. “I want to make sure there’s no body parts or possible evidence in there,” the sheriff said. The unearthing of the remains marks the 12th homicide case the sheriff’s office has opened this year. In another raid Wednesday connected to the smuggling group, officials seized about 300 pounds of marijuana from a house along Breyfogle Road north of Expressway 83 near Palmview. Treviño said the drug bundles were marked with the initials “CDG” — the call sign of Cartel del Golfo, or the Gulf Cartel, one of the dominant cartels based in Matamoros. Despite that, investigators maintain the local group ordered the hits on Aguilar and his hit man, Treviño said. “It’s common sense that 100 percent of the narcotics in Hidalgo County are coming from Mexico,” he said. “The cartel did not sanction or order this hit. It comes from the local group.” Deputies continue to look for three or four other possible suspects with ties to the drug smugglers and the two suspected murders, the sheriff said. The three suspects already arrested — including the group’s alleged ringleader — are set to face murder, organized crime and felony drug charges at an arraignment hearing scheduled for Friday. Treviño said he expects officials to arrest a total of eight or nine people in connection with the case. “I think we’re going to effectively dismantle this locally based smuggling ring,” he said. http://www.brownsvilleherald.com/news/mission-116024-smuggling-arrests.html more

Voting Question: What do you think ICE Arrests 11 Gang Members And Associates In Madison Area all are illegal Mexicans?

MADISON, Wis. — Agents with the local U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), in close partnership with the Madison Police Department (MPD), arrested 11 illegal alien gang members and gang associates on Tuesday. This is the latest joint local action of an ongoing national ICE-HSI effort to target foreign-born members of violent street gangs. The arrests were made Aug. 11 under an initiative by ICE’s National Gang Unit dubbed “Operation Community Shield.” As part of the initiative, ICE partners with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies across the country to target the significant public safety threat posed by transnational street gangs. Partnerships with local law enforcement agencies are essential to the initiative’s success, and they help further ensure officer safety during the operations. All 11 men arrested are members or associates of the Chicano Pride and C-14 street gangs; all are Mexican nationals. They have been charged with administrative immigration violations and are being processed for deportation. Five of those arrested have previous criminal convictions in addition to their immigration violations. Some of their arrests and convictions include: carrying a concealed weapon, resisting or obstructing a police officer, battery, theft and criminal damage to property. For privacy reasons, ICE does not release the names of those arrested on administrative immigration charges. In addition to the Madison Police Department, ICE received assistance from the following agencies: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF); the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin; and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS). “Street gangs pose a growing public safety threat to communities in the Madison area,” said Gary Hartwig, special agent in charge of the ICE-HSI office in Chicago. “With each gang member we arrest and remove from the United States, we're making a positive impact in our communities and improving public safety.” “The arrests during this joint operation with ICE are consistent with what the MPD has stated in the past: we are focused on removing violent gang members from the streets of Madison,” said Madison Police Chief Noble Wray. “It is a matter of public safety, and we will work in concert with federal authorities to diminish potential threats. This in no way; however, changes our approach and philosophy in dealing with other members of our immigrant communities.” ICE’s National Gang Unit identifies violent street gangs and develops intelligence on their membership, associates, criminal activities and international movements to deter, disrupt and dismantle gang operations by tracing and seizing cash, weapons and other assets derived from criminal activities. Through Operation Community Shield, the federal government uses its powerful immigration and customs law enforcement authorities in a coordinated, national campaign against criminal street gangs in the United States. Transnational street gangs have significant numbers of foreign-born members and are frequently involved in human and contraband smuggling, immigration violations and other crimes with a connection to the border. Since ICE began Operation Community Shield in February 2005, more than 18,000 gang members and associates belonging to more than 900 different gangs have been arrested nationwide. And after clicking on “FY2007-FY2010 Removal Statistics”, the problem with these assertions became stark: Total Deportations, FY2007-FY2010 Number % change FY2007 291,060 - FY2008 369,221 26.8% FY2009 389,834 5.6% FY2010 (1st 9 months) 279,035 -3.1%(a) (a) From same period of the prior FY. Data source: ICE Removals 2007-2010 Excel Spreadsheet In FY2008—George W. Bush’s last full fiscal year—deportations rose a whopping 26.8% from the prior year. And now the rate of deportations in has actually turned negative. As things stand now, Fiscal 2010, which started on October 1, 2009 and is Obama’s first full year, is on course to be the first since FY2002 in which deportations will have declined. http://vdare.com/rubenstein/100809_nd.htm more

Resolved Question: What will be Obama's reaction to 105 hardworkers arrested in Dallas Fort Worth area?

Assisted by local law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Immigration and Customs National Gang Unit arrested 105 men and women during a five-day operation targeting foreign-born gang members and their associates throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, according to a report obtained by the Organized Crime Control Committee of the National Association of Chiefs of Police This was the latest local effort in an ongoing national ICE initiative to target foreign-born gang members and gang associates. This multi-agency operation, which ended July 17, targeted gang members and associates engaged in organized criminal activity. Sixty seven of those arrested during this operation are documented gang members; five are gang associates from local street gangs. Five additional suspects were apprehended on other criminal and federal immigration charges. Investigation is continuing to determine the gang affiliation of the others and their rank in the gang structure. Seventy-two were arrested on criminal warrants or charges; 33 were administratively arrested by ICE on immigration violations. Following is the breakdown by city where the arrests took place: Dallas - 57, Fort Worth - 19, Arlington - 17, Carrollton - 5, Irving - 4, Farmers Branch - 2, and Lake Worth, 1. Of those arrested, 57 are from Mexico, 42 are U.S. citizens, four are from El Salvador, and two are from Honduras. They range in age from 17 to 53 years old; six of those arrested were women. In addition to the arrests, the following items were also seized: two firearms, U.S. currency, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and hydrocodone. Those in ICE custody are charged with administrative immigration violations and are awaiting deportation. Three of those arrested had been previously deported. Anyone who re-enters the United States after having been formally deported commits a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Some of these gang members are sought or have been arrested for various crimes, including: home invasion robberies, drive-by shootings, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession/manufacture of controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a weapon, burglary, theft, evading arrest, and resisting arrest. Those arrested during this five-day multi-agency operation represent the following 29 gangs: 15th Street, 18th Street, 6417 Melody Lane, Allen St. Crips, Brown Pride, Best for Less Club, Deuce Deuce Beckley, Eastside Homeboyz, Fantasmas, How High Crew, Jokers Only, La Mirada Locos, Lands of Shadow, Latin Kings, Los Pipis 25 in Mexico, Lynch Mob, Mexican Klan Locos, Mexican Society, Money Over Bitches, MS-13, Surenos, Sur-13, Swirving Heights, Tango Blast, Untamed Gorillas, Varrio Centro, Varrio Northside, Varrio Southside, and Webb Chapel Crips. Information received by ICE-HSI and other law enforcement indicates that criminal gangs are becoming increasingly involved in north Texas with smuggling and distributing narcotics, laundering illicit drug proceeds, and other illegal activities. Since Operation Community Shield began in February 2005, ICE agents nationwide have arrested more than 17,500 gang members and associates linked to more than 900 different street gangs. More than 200 of those arrested were gang leaders. http://www.examiner.com/x-37621-Public-Safety-Examiner~y2010m7d19-105-gang-members-arrested-in-DallasFort-Worth-area more

Resolved Question: parents really dislike boyfriend, what do i do?

Here is alittle bit of background about my situation. I am 22 years and just recently graduated from college with a nursing degree. One could say that my parents and I can talk about certain things. Once I graduated, I felt that I shouldn't have to lie anymore about certain things, particularly dating. I met my boyfriend during my last semester of school and we have been close ever since. We are complete opposites. For example, in his terms "I'm a privilegde child" meaning I had a good upbringing, I am not rich, but not poor. On the other hand, he is poor. My parents were strict and protected my from certain things. He comes from the streets but is not a thug. In simple terms, I am book smart, and not street smart whereas he is street smart and alittle book smart. Not to mention he is 29, has two children, and a GED. Instantly, I knew that my parents would not approve. But something inside me was saying, give him a chance. In addition, my boyfriend is just getting back on his feet. He has been battling with a disabling condition that prevents him from working but he does produce music, he had to move back in with is parents due to infidelity of his ex-girlfriend of 10 years. Because I felt, I could tell my mom about him, I did which was a big mistake. I must admit I did lie about the fact that he had a job, and him having a place on his own. I was allowed to stay one weekend with him with my parent's approval, thinking that everything will work itself out. When I made it back home, everything went haywire. My parents ganged up on me. I wasn't so surprised at my dad, because all he knew was this guy had 2 children, so he gave the whole how child support opperates story. My mom on the other hand, had completely jump ships, which at first she was open to me dating him. The following day my mom did the most horrible thing, she contacted his baby's mother to find out more information about him. Now, the ex and I had never spoken, she knowsmy family and I know hers, but because my parents didn't know the nature surrounding their breakup, I felt that wasnt a smart move. Once my parents made it home from work, I they didn't know that I had already knew that they had talked to the ex. When they brought it up, my parents never mentioned where they were getting this information from, they used "they say." "they say" he is out there saying he has found himself a nurse,"they say" he is saying he has been to the house. They continued to lash out at me. Take in mind, Im a good kid, I have never rebelled against my parents, college graduate, and felt I had a good head on my shoulders. My mother told me that she felt like she had failed as a parent because I wanted to date him. So, i agreed to stop seeing him only thing is, i havent. I just didn't want to judge him based on his situation. It's like when we get together, I feel so good. He had never disrespected me and is always a gentlemen. He supports me just like I support him and his goals. He makes me laugh, and when I look into his eyes I see a kind soul that wants and needs to be loved. So, in order to keep down confusion, we have kept our relationship a secret. Please help, I need feed back. more

Resolved Question: Can we report her for this?

There is a mean, old, racist lady in my neighborhood that has been calling the cops on everyone for everything. She has called some of the kids some pretty profane words, can we report her to the cops for this? I would also like to know if we could get reported to the police for riding our skateboards and bikes on the sidewalk/street and get in trouble for it. She called the cops on us for riding around the neighborhood and for my brother and his friends building a skateboard ramp in her neighbor's yard (we had permission). She told the cops we were a street gang and disrupting traffic (there is no traffic back there). The cop took my brother's information and filed a report against him, for nothing! And when any parents come to talk to her, she runs to her attic and stares our her window. Can she do all of this (the mean neighbor)? Can we report her for doing anything? more

Resolved Question: Obama & Holder have another NEW lawsuit County Sheriff’s Office enforcing federal immigration laws?

BOZEMAN (AP) — Nine men face deportation to Mexico and a 10th awaits federal immigration charges after a law-enforcement sweep of southwestern Montana resulted in the arrests of people associated with a dangerous street gang. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri River Drug Task Force and West Yellowstone Police Department all helped arrest men that federal officials say are affiliated with the Sureno gang. The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that two of the arrests were in West Yellowstone, while eight were in Bozeman. Gallatin County Sheriff Jim Cashell says he’s limiting information he’s releasing about the arrests so he won’t compromise any federal investigation. But federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesman Carl Rusnok says he thinks it would be naive to speculate that the arrests last week will spell the end of Sureno activity in the region http://www.greatfallstribune.com/article/20100705/NEWS01/100705009 more

Resolved Question: What do you think 10 taxpayers arrested in Gallatin County, Mt. after 2-week anti-gang operation?

BOZEMAN, Mt. — Assisted by local law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) arrested 10 men during a two-week operation targeting foreign-born gang members and their associates in Gallatin County. The following law enforcement agencies also participated in the operation: Gallatin County Sheriff’s Department, the Missouri River Drug Task Force, and the West Yellowstone Police Department. This is the latest local effort in an ongoing national ICEHSI initiative to target foreign-born gang members and gang associates. This multi-agency operation, which ended July 2, targeted gang members and associates engaged in organized criminal activity. Seven of those arrested during this operation are known gang members or associates from the “Surenos” street gang. Three additional suspects were apprehended on other criminal and federal immigration charges. Eight were arrested in Bozeman, and two in West Yellowstone. All were from Mexico. Those in ICE custody are charged with administrative immigration violations and are awaiting deportation. In addition to immigration charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Montana has accepted prosecution for one of the men arrested for reentering the United States after being previously deported, which is a felony. Information received by ICE-HSI and other law enforcement indicates that criminal gangs, such as the Surenos and others, are becoming increasingly involved in Montana with smuggling and distributing narcotics, laundering illicit drug proceeds, and other illegal activities. “Our ICE-HSI special agents routinely partner with local law enforcement agencies to target transnational gang members,” said Kumar Kibble, special agent in charge of HSI in Denver. “Gangs are responsible for a significant amount of local crime, and our joint operations help reduce this threat to the public.” Kibble oversees a four-state area, which includes: Montana, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. “The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is committed to reducing crime at a local level,” said Gallatin County Sheriff Jim Cashell. “In this case, we assisted ICE with arresting illegal immigrants that have ties to street gangs and known criminal enterprises. Removing these individuals from the streets is an important step in maintaining the safety and quality of life that the citizens of Gallatin County expect.” The arrests were made as part of Operation Community Shield, a national initiative whereby ICE partners with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to target the significant public safety threat posed by transnational criminal street gangs. Since Operation Community Shield began in February 2005, ICE agents nationwide have arrested more than 17,500 gang members and associates linked to more than 900 different gangs. More than 200 of those arrested were gang leaders. Resolved Question: What do you think about my story?

Corner Street was a town known for homing murderers, robbers, thieves and pickpockets, to drug-dealers, outlaws and criminals. The town was run down with no houses but shelters created from bits of metal and wire and anything collected from the rubbish dump. Blankets and pillows were ripped in half to share out and stray dogs wandered around like beggars. The place smelt worse than the rubbish piled up outside the town. No women lived there unless they wanted to be forced to clean up the mess that was Corner Street. Every person that was there lived in a horrendous state, but they were all safe from the police. This was also a terribly dangerous place. Every day a fight would break out by gangs and until somebody backed out it could go on until night. In one of the old shacks slept a man by the name of Scorpion. He was an undercover policeman and had made deals with almost every man at Corner Street. His real name was Louis Mort and had been at Corner Street for two years, long enough to become friends with almost everybody there. At the end of the year he would turn each and every one of them into the police. He had gained enough trust from the men there that he knew most of their background stories. “Okay Louis, this is the plan. You run into the town and fall to the ground. You click this button which will silently put you to sleep for a few hours. By then you would probably have caught the attention of a lot of people there. You give them the story and your basic information and hand over the money, which of course is fake. We will transport your needs and at night you can creep out and come back here to get a wash, some food and if needed, medical help. Gain their trust; turn them in, blah, blah, blah.” Mr. Coroway told Louis. He was the Planning Officer, and took his job very seriously. Every day he was dressed in a suite, grey and black stripes. He was a young man but his uneventful life had turned his curly black hair into flat grey hair. Louis had jet black hair and wore a black suit with a pink top every day. He nodded regularly and recited everything Mr. Coroway said in his head. Today he was wearing dirty jeans that were tearing apart and a tight white tank top with worn shoes. His head was rustled up and his face was drenched in sweat. He had just run three kilometres around two parks and had slipped in dirt. He had been ordered to do this so when he arrived at Corner Street It looked like he had been running from the police. Louis and Mr. Coroway were sitting in a black SUV Series Seven. The car paused at a bus stop. “Here we are, Louis. Hopefully we will meet again. Nice meeting you.” Mr. Coroway smiled and opened the door. Louis nodded and crawled out. He raised his hand motioning his farewell and watched the car maneuver off the sidewalk and onto the road. Louis held a bag containing his fake ID, a water bottle, a watch and a slip of paper with random numbers on it, hidden in his favourite novel, Nightingale. He poured the water on to his face and started running. The plan was Mr. Coroway would wait until night in the car with his chauffer and if Louis wasn’t accepted into their community he would run back to them. Louis started running towards the town and by the time he got there he was panting and drenched with sweat again. He pressed the buzzer on his ring and counted to ten before collapsing to the dusty ground. Louis woke up with a startle. He was sitting on a very uncomfortable chair and his vision was blurry. Slowly it regained and he started to take in his surroundings; dark room, no windows, single light bulb hanging from the roof twitching like an eye. Louis bolted upright but pain stabbed through his weak body. He tried to swallow but his mouth was like a dry lake. “Who are you? Why are you here, Mr. Farm?” said an American voice. “Thank god! Look there must be a mistake I got lost and just ended up here. Please I am not an intruder, just let me stay here for a bit… I have money in my bag but I don’t know where it went. There was US$20,000 in that bag and I need it back. Please!” Louis replied as cowardly as he could manage. A low chuckle aroused in the corner of the room. “It is not a good thing to lie in a place like this.” The man said. He was wearing a black and white pinstriped suit and trilby hat, black shirt and silver tie. He looked very wealthy to be in Corner Street. He had stepped in the small puddle of light and had a lopsided grin painted onto his face. “I have your bag. I also have your passport, and therefore, your criminal record. Tell me, what are those numbers?” Louis gulped. The room was very hot and stuffy. Sweat rolled down his forehead into his eye. He pinched them closed as the salt water stung them. “I…” Louis had no idea what to say. Or at least that’s what he made it look like. “I’ll give you the money! Please don’t tell the police. You can keep all the twenty-thousand dollars of it. I’ll just leave the town and gosorry bree i cant open yours more

Resolved Question: Can someone please help me correct this?

Now a days, many people, everywhere have computers. It is pretty hard to find a house without this great invention that’s been around for a while. People love playing games. The best kinds of games people like to play are either cars or war games and guns! Which I honestly do not like nor prefer. But with all the battles that are going on and all the gangs that happen to gather and turn against either some politician or just another group, and this is getting a little too far! In my opinion if you want to make a game it should be in a good meaning and either helps you in life or gives you information or maybe even help you plan things! We all know that a game that contains math and plans are the most wanted for children and everyone in order to deal with everyday life and more organized things we go through. So I am the character here and I am a student in the Palestinian occupied lands. I live in a war zone where in any second my village can be destroyed into ashes from the technology of weapons, tanks and all war needs from the other side of the war, while I have small handmade rockets and rocks to defend myself and people. Knowing that the world thinks I’m the terrorist for defending myself really causes anger and trying my best to fight these people and proving them that this is ours and I can fight them by education and knowledge not blood! My biggest fear in this life is for this to go on and my children see what I see today, for that I am going to achieve and do all I can and even more. Today is the first day of school, I’m walking there because our car isn’t working and my father works in the US and can’t afford to send money for it. While I’m walking down the street I look around at the houses I pass by their all full of holes, and I wonder what can make holes in such thick bricked buildings! While I was thinking of that I trip and fall over a shoe! Seems like someone lost his shoe, that really got me worried, at that second I was thinking of entering the house but I remembered I have to go to school. I walk two more blocks down and see a long line of cars and tanks in the beginning of it, ”what’s going on” I asked a man passing besides me. “There’s a new check point” he said with anger, “it’s ok” I thought to myself “I’ll try to pass”. Half an hour later I finally passed the checkpoint! But I’m too late for school, running as fast as I can I finally got there. Some teachers aren’t though, I asked everyone what’s going on they said two teachers were in the occupied forces prisons and the others couldn’t make it from the checkpoint. New teachers are in school the new checkpoint is still there and will be there for long maybe even for good. I finally finished high school and college, now I’m the president on the Palestinian lands. My mission is to free my land from the terror that it’s going through and make peace! So the only weapons I own are my faith, dignity and little help from others. We must have very intelligent and come up with very sharp and smart plans. First mission must stop the other forces from destroying houses and buildings, then getting rid of the wall of shame, there are many other things you must do but you must be aware. And you must stay silent. can u please help me correct the grammer and spelling mistakes:) more

Resolved Question: I have a question about reduced prison sentences?

I am currently watching Lockup on MSNBC. The location of the show is Cook County Prison (Chicago). Anyways, they have a police unit inside of the prison that goes around and tries to get crucial information from prisoners about certain street gangs in Chicago. This information is valuable and can help to bring down huge drug operations on the outside that are controlled by gangs. Many prisoners do not cooperate but a good number do because it means a reduced sentence for the crime they are waiting to go to trial for. Take for instance, a guy in jail who is facing an attempted murder charge or a guy facing an actual murder charge can get 10 years knocked off a possible 20 year sentence if he cooperates with the police and gives the police crucial information about gangs. But do you think it is fair to the family of the murder victim that the guy who murdered him got 10 years knocked off his sentence for giving up gang information? For the sake of justice, don't you think that guy should serve his whole sentence? more

Lets say Tony Starks company that builds weapons for the government is accused of Treachery because there is a terrorist organization that steals from tony starks company. Tony Stark is accused of treachery because his employees are terrorist as well. They reveal security weaknesses to the terrorist disguised as a local gang. SAN DIEGO — Sheriff's officials say more than 280 people have been arrested in a gang sweep designed to target drug and human smuggling activities at the U.S.-Mexican border. San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said Monday 24 documented gang members and eight gang associates have been booked for investigation of various offenses, including drug trafficking, human smuggling and parole and probation violations. About 165 pounds of marijuana, 21 pounds of methamphetamine, six pounds of cocaine, heroin and weapons were seized. Information from: The San Diego Union-Tribune, http://www.signonsandiego.com And EDINBURG — Hidalgo County sheriff's investigators say they have identified the alleged leader in a string of recent home invasions. Jose Manuel Garcia Rubalcava, 49, allegedly stole a vehicle at gunpoint while fleeing from pursuing deputies the afternoon of March 5, according to a department statement. Rubalcava, also known as "El Tio," is suspected of leading a group of men that invaded a home April 13 on Jose De La Cruz Street, as well, deputies said. Deputies have obtained a warrant for Rubalcava's arrest for allegedly stealing the vehicle at gunpoint. Sheriff Lupe Treviño said Rubalcava would face other felony charges, as well. The sheriff said he considers Rubalcava — an illegal immigrant — armed and dangerous. http://www.themonitor.com/articles/ring-37686-deputies-suspect.html Harmless illegals are they ? more

Resolved Question: Should Maryland be reporting all illegals arrested to ICE?

Maryland does not report to ICE when illegals are arrrested for many violation including weapons violations. Should all crimes be reported to ICE, no matter the severity? What should Maryland do with these illegals? Will reporting to ICE now, help that 11 year old child? This is an East coast state, why should It even be considered a sanctuary state? Is this proof that gang violence has spread across the country? XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Suspected illegal alien gang members arrested for rape of 11-year-old girl February 25, Dave Gibson Montgomery County Police Dept.On Tuesday night, police in Montgomery County, MD arrested two men accused of raping an 11-year-old girl. Officers found the two in the apartment, where the alleged assault took place. Montgomery County police spokesman Cpl. Dan Friz told reporters: “Based on the information she provided and the location and description of the gentlemen and some of the contents in the apartment, the officers went right to the apartment, found the two guys in the apartment, locked them up.” Officers arrested Melquicide H. Sorto, 31, and Marcos R. Torres-Enriquez, 20, and charged them with second-degree rape. Both are being held in the Montgomery County Jail on $1 million bond. The victim said she first encountered the men in the afternoon, near the intersection of Piney Branch Road and Carroll Avenue when they yelled at her in Spanish. The girl, who does not speak Spanish, kept walking. Later, she was playing in a nearby park, when the two grabbed her and forced her into their apartment in the 8700 block of Carroll Avenue, where she says both men raped her. The little girl ran home and immediately told her mother. She was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and later released. Due to the heinous nature of the crime, police have notified Immigration and Customs Enforcement of the arrest, and are currently investigating a possible link to gang activity. Montgomery County police only report illegal aliens to the feds when they have been arrested for a very serious crime such as rape or murder. As Judicial Watch recently pointed out, illegal aliens arrested for burglary, simple assault, and most weapons violations are still not reported to ICE for deportation. Just as with any offender, bail is set for them and they are released back onto the streets to either commit more crimes in the county or to flee elsewhere. As a direct result of Maryland’s continued lax attitude toward illegal immigration, the state’s sanctuary cities, and lack of cooperation with federal authorities, violent crimes committed by illegal aliens have recently soared. Maryland is also one of a handful of states which issues driver’s licenses to illegal aliens. Additionally, the Maryland State Board of Education recently announced that they will not allow county school districts to count the number of illegal alien students registered in their respective districts. The following is a short list of some of the violent crimes recently committed by illegal aliens in Montgomery County, MD: -In July 2009, Edwin Umana, 21, was stabbed to death by seven Hispanic gang members. -In November 2008, Tai Lam, 14 was shot to death on a crowded bus by 20-year-old MS-13 member and Takoma Park resident Hector Mauricio Hernandez. Unfortunately, this killing could have been avoided if Hernandez had been reported to federal authorities a month earlier, when the illegal alien was released after being caught carrying a concealed weapon. -In October 2008, police arrested Honduran national Jose Juan Garcia-Perlera, 33, for the murder of Frances Havenstein, 63, after being linked to the crime with DNA evidence. He was also charged with several counts of robbery in a string of home invasions which targeted elderly homeowners. He always tied-up his victims, one of whom was 92-years-old. At the time of his arrest, Garcia-Perlera was living in Hyattsville, MD and working for an electrical contractor. He had been in the country illegally for six years. -In September 2008, while at a local mall, a Gaithersburg teenager was stabbed nearly 50 times by gang members Ricardo Mejia, 16, Oswaldo Michael Lainez, 16, Omar Diaz, 16, and Edgar Garcia, 15. Though he was stabbed in the heart, the teen survived the attack. All of the assailants were charged as adults with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and two conspiracy charges. In April 2009, Montgomery County Police Chief J. Thomas Manger announced that criminal activity committed by illegal alien gangs MS-13 and the Latin Kings had increased significantly and accounted for the higher numbers of serious crimes such as rape, robbery, and murder. According to the Maryland State’s Attorney’s Office, there are 40 more

Resolved Question: Could you read what I wrote please?

I really need constructive criticism here, I wrote the beginning and something seems off. I know it's long, but if anyone reads it, thanks! By the age of ten years old, Glora was a skinny girl who took pride in such things as wearing mismatched socks and flaunting her messy, uncombed hair. She enjoyed such activities as racing through the streets of the city with a wild gang of children and accepting dares, no matter how wild they might have been. The majority of the city merchants knew her not by name but as “that skinny, dark-haired scamp”. Indeed, although most adults found her amusing and slightly intimidating, many others (the law enforcers in particular) saw her as a nuisance and were constantly trying to find her name and her home, scouring the poor region of the city for hours at a time, hours that, in the opinion of many a citizen, could be better spent tracking worthy criminals such as the Sneak. In truth, the law enforcers were rather frightened by this particular criminal, and justified their lack of enthusiasm by pointing to the fact that nobody had, as of yet, proved that the Sneak was anything more than a rumor. Many ghastly stories were associated with the criminal, and so the children were shielded from the possibility of its existence. As a result, the stories and the criminal were the most discussed pieces of forbidden information spread throughout the young population, and many games and dares sprang up from the whispered conversations which took place in the numerous hidden nooks throughout the city. There was a simple reason as to why Glora and her place of residence had remained undiscovered for such a length of time. Contrary to the assumptions of the local law enforcement, the child did not actually live in the poor region, known to most as the East Provinces. Indeed, Glora spent much of her time plotting her escape from the wealthiest region of the entire kingdom, the North Provinces. It wasn't as if she wished to be cold and hungry, as was the unfortunate situation for the majority of her little friends. The girl possesed an odd arrogance about her, derived from some combination of her rough and wild playmates and her excessively wealthy and noble heritage. Her parents were the owners of a massive manor, in which their child could rarely be found at any time of day before dinner. It is safe to say that neither mother nor father wasted much concern on their daughter during the early years of her youth, instead devoting their energy to maintaining the family business and the affairs of the kingdom. Glora had become subtly talented at slipping away without notice, predictably right before a mathematics tutor called at the door or otherwise at the mention of any other form of boredom. It wasn't untill the day of her eleventh birthday that Glora's mother realized her daughter was becoming quite out of control. And so she was located and retrieved from the depths of the East as only a mother has the ability to do, given a proper washing which involved an unsightly tantrum and much scrubbing, and finally dressed up in a pale yellow dress. Her dark mess of curls was combed and tied up and back in a fashion mimicking the style of other well-to do young ladies, many of whom were invited to attend Glora's birthday celebration that evening. A tense quiet occupied the dining room as Glora sat stiffly against the high-backed chair. The meal before her was lavish and grand; pine nut served with rasberry and a beverage of clear, smooth sugar water, a rare delicacy. She looked about the room darkly, glaring at all who returned her gaze. Vaguely she noticed that her parents had cleverly seated the queen's daughter to her right and the tax collector's to her left, but after a few friendly smiles directed at Glora they had given up and commenced a light and - in Glora's opinion - utterly meaningless conversation. A glance towards her parents cooled her fiery temper, however; they were looking at her with rather worried frowns as she continued to ignore her guests. If you've read this before, sorry, I'm just trying to get fresh opinions. more

Resolved Question: I'm thinking of getting a motorcycle, but I need some information.?

I've tried all I can to learn how to drive a car, but I just can't..It's not my style..I want something that moves to my touch..My dad, however, has had 4 motorcycles in his lifetime, and he suggested that I have one because he understands how I am, and he thinks that it would suit me. I'm 16 years old, turning 17 in may..He said they have places where they have motorcycles for teenagers..I can confirm this because i've seen a kid at my school with a motorcycle.. Now I'm definitely not a bad ass, and I hate those loud and clunky harleys that biker gangs drive..I want something that runs smoothly..Like a sport motorcycle.. Now obviously, I know nothing..But, what can I say? I'm a beginner..A newbie..We all start somewhere. My dad wanted to rent one for me, to teach me how it works..And we'd go on from there..I need some information..My dads told me all about how it works from his experiences, and really..I think it'd be good for me.. BUT, I'm not going to be doing some big jumps or going super fast..When driving, I'm going to take the back streets..Now, we're suffering from this economic crisis (Who isn't?), so my dad was wondering if there was a motorcycle for beginners..Preferably less then 5,000.. And please don't tell me there aren't motorcycles for less then that..This kid at my schools a total druggie, and even he can afford one. My dad has me on my own right now..And he wants me to look up a motorcycle called..."Prodigy" or something..He says its a good bike for beginners.. But I looked it up, and I can't find it..Did I get the name wrong or something? Please, some help would be very appreciated..Maybe you guys know of some other motorcycles..I just need some help.. Also, can someone resolve this question? My mom and dad are in an ongoing argument about it. I live in Arizona..My mom says I need a permit to test drive a rental..My dad says that as long as hes wit me, I don't need a permit for a motorcycle. Who's right? Thank you in advance. And yes, I understand the responsibility, and the consequences of accidents. In fact, that is what I fear. But first, it'll be a rental to try it out, see if it fits me..Yeah, whats that gotta do with my question? It may be easy for you, but its not easy for me. I need more freedom, more flexibility..Alright, apparently I have to be more specific. What are some good bikes for me? My favorite manufacture is Suzuki.. more

Resolved Question: con somebody help out to check this essay?

Gun control Most devastated moments when you see death rate (homicides, shooting …) increasing annually. Is there anything can suppress this wild incents form happing? How they would apply it on the street? Would people going to be satisfied with it or not? Too many questions facing up the American Government; however, the gun control hasn’t done enough and doesn’t put an end to all the effects and damages that people in our society are suffering form. Supporters of gun control argue gun control should be trusted since it’s been logically progressing to be the best solution to reduce death increases in the society. They say that if the people left with nothing they can defend themselves for the killer robbers violence issues will raises to high level. However, they might have point of thinking like that, but they forget that the gun control hasn’t done enough to safe the people’s lives’. I think it didn’t do any good to the society yet brought more violence and crimes into our peaceful community. Those people with gun control claim that American citizens should be armed to safe themselves from criminals, bringing crime rates down. They say that gang people will easily get the weapons from anywhere, so the people should carry guns everywhere they go in order to keep these violence and crimes far away from their lives’. To a certain extent they are right, they unwarily forget the fact that children would easily have the accession to the gun which we already know that they doesn’t have enough ability to deal with these dangerous weapons; moreover they might end up killing their friends or themselves as well. The people who agree with gun control point out that every American citizen has the ability to carry a gun, they put this idea because they think if everyone has a gun nobody would be able to attack the others regarding to that fact that everyone is having one. After seeing this evidence, there is no way we can agree with what they say. More guns mean more deaths and injuries, so looking to this fact it clearly understandable if we let everyone to carry a gun we would not be in good shape despite the side effects of misusing it. In conclusion I think the gun control rules should be more restricted than it is right now. For instance, they should put morel restricted roles to the gun owner such as; not giving a right to any person until they provide them with full information about their intention for buying gun ,and how well their mental and physical ability to deal with it .in addition, I think it should be more onerous to own a gun. In the same way that people who drive cars must have a driver’s license and register their cars and carry proof of accident insurance, I think gun owners should have to have a license (not just for concealed carry, but for carrying of any kind) and register their guns and pay into an insurance pool to cover the accidental damage those guns may do more

Resolved Question: Federal agents bust reputed smuggling ring with ties to L.A. gang will racial profling be brought up?

Federal authorities said this afternoon they have arrested eight people -- and are seeking a ninth -- with ties to the Drew Street clique of the Avenues gang on suspicion of drug trafficking and human smuggling. Agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement served search and arrest warrants Tuesday night and this morning at locations in the Imperial Valley and Los Angeles. One of the sites in the 2800 block of Avenue 34 in northeast L.A. was the base of operations for the alleged smuggling ring and served as a "drop house" before illegal immigrants were taken to their final locations, ICE spokeswoman Virginia Kice said in a prepared statement. The ring charged people up to $4,500, provided phony immigration papers and smuggled the human cargo into the United States from Mexico by concealing them in trucks and hidden compartments of vehicles. Some of the defendants face up to 30 years in federal prison if convicted on all counts. A federal grand jury indictment names Teodoro Alvarez-Estrada, 56, and his wife, Aquilina Alvarez, 56. They were arrested after a search of their northeast Los Angeles home turned up three firearms, including a semiautomatic handgun and a .357 Magnum revolver, ICE officials said. Also arrested were Eduardo Alvarez-Marquez, 35, of Los Angeles, and Holtville residents Martina Araceli Carreon, 44, and Jose Carreon, 47. Others in custody included Calexico residents Ruben Servin-Mejia, 37, and Maria Toledo-Fierros, 49, and Yesenia Rubi Mendoza-Gonzalez of Mexicali, Mexico. The investigation into the smuggling ring began in August 2008 from information developed by the Los Angeles Police Department and federal authorities in their probe of crime tied to the Avenues street gang. The ring is alleged to have smuggled over 200 illegal immigrants into the U.S. annually. Federal investigators said at one point the alleged smugglers were negotiating with Avenues gang members to bring Maria Leon, matriarch and shot-caller of the Drew Street clique, into the United States from Mexico. Leon, now serving an eight-year federal prison sentence for racketeering crimes related to the Avenues street gang, eventually used another smuggling group, federal authorities said. “This case illustrates the disturbing ties we’re increasingly finding between local street gangs and criminal organizations,” said Kevin Kozak, deputy special agent in charge of the Los Angeles ICE office. “ICE is working not only to target and dismantle violent street gangs, but also the criminal organizations that support the gangs’ illegal activities.” Blanca Zendejas Nienhaus, an ACLU of California spokesperson, told about 15 people who huddled in the square during a rain-soaked morning press conference. "This has led to an atmosphere of terror where immigrants are afraid to contact police." more

Resolved Question: Did anybody else see this Los Angeles cops take on notorious Mexican Mafia street gang?

LOS ANGELES – A notorious street gang accused of terrorizing a neighborhood for years and killing a sheriff's deputy was the target of a coordinated assault by hundreds of law enforcement officials Tuesday. Local police working with federal agents carried out a string of early-morning raids seeking key members of the Avenues street gang, a long-standing group that claims as its territory a swath of northeast Los Angeles. About 90 suspects were named in a massive federal racketeering indictment detailing criminal activity spanning more than a decade. Officers in full body armor were seen at dawn Tuesday at a blocked-off staging area at the Dodger Stadium parking lot, where suspects were being processed at a portable booking area as media helicopters hovered overhead. Scores of search warrants were served at 4 a.m. from Los Angeles to Kern County, and all the suspects were quickly rounded up, said Los Angeles police Deputy Chief Sergio Diaz. Within hours, several tattooed, shirtless men in handcuffs populated the parking lot. There is "ironclad evidence of the crimes," Diaz said at the staging area. "Our goal is to ... move these people out, occupy this community and support the law abiding people that deserve to live in dignity here." Aside from murdering rivals, dealing drugs, graffiti tagging and other gang crimes, the gang is accused of making threats and carrying out acts of violence against police officers, culminating in two attacks that rocked the law enforcement community last year. The first of these, in February 2008, saw Avenues gang members open fire with handguns and an AK-47 on Los Angeles police officers. Police shot back, killing 20-year-old Daniel Leon and injuring another man. Then on Aug. 2, 2008, off-duty Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Juan Escalante was shot dead in front of his parents' home in the Cypress Park neighborhood northeast of downtown. Even before the killing, authorities were investigating the Avenues, but his death increased the urgency of the operation. Earlier this year, police charged three men in Escalante's death and a fourth suspect remains at large. The indictment details several possible motives for the murder. Carlos Velasquez, one of the men accused of killing the deputy, was heard in a wire-tapped telephone conversation telling another Avenues gang member that he killed Escalante in retribution for the death of Leon, nicknamed "Clever." "Clever took one with him," the indictment states Velasquez said. The 222-page indictment also alleges Avenues members posted inflammatory remarks on Web sites, including "Avenidas don't get chased by the cops. We chase them," and, "Avenidas don't just hurt people. We kill them." Members of the largely Hispanic gang would also spray paint racist threats around neighborhoods to intimidate black people, according to prosecutors. "This indictment attacks a criminal organization that has terrorized a community for generations," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Christopher Brunwin, the lead prosecutor in the case. "With all of the information collected over the past year, we assembled an indictment that led to dozens of arrests this morning and will make a significant difference in the neighborhoods in northeastern Los Angeles." Tuesday's operation marks an ongoing focus on the Avenues gang, which gets its name from a series of streets running through the area. In June 2008, another federal indictment took aim at the Drew Street clique of the gang. Prosecutors said Drew Street was the most active and violent clique within the Avenues and it produced significant drug-sale revenues for the Mexican Mafia, a prison-based gang that oversees much of Southern California's street gang activity. That investigation resulted in the arrest of several of the clique's alleged leaders. Afterward, Mexican Mafia leaders attempted to re-organize the Avenues' presence in northeast Los Angeles by ending the clique rivalries within the gang and naming new Avenue leaders, Tuesday's indictment states. Though incarcerated, Mexican Mafia leaders are able to communicate with street gangs through conversations on cell phones that are smuggled into prisons, as well as by passing folded notes to visitors. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090922/ap_on_re_us/us_gang_raid more

Voting Question: I wanted everyones opinion on this plot for Fantastic 4 part 3?

I want to advise you all that I just want your honest opinion and why this would not work. The movie starts off as introducing the Fantastic 4 as more of celebirties than actual hero's (by this time Franklin is born and is around 8 or 10 and showngs signs of telekenesis and telepathy). Reed has been become more cold and distant constantly trying to solve the worlds problems, Ben has become angry because "they dont try to help the little guy", Susan who has become more protective of everyone since the birth of there son, and Johnny who has matured a little and is a meaningfull relationship with Frankie Raye. One night the Black Panther comes breaks into the highly secure baxter building to test the fantastic four, after they fight each other he tells them that he and his country of wakanda is in dire need of there help against his countries old ally Namor the Sub Mariner who plans on siphoning wakandas natural resource witch is vibranium. After confirming who he is and getting information about him from Storm of the X-Men, Reed, Sue, Johnny, Frankie, Franklin and Herbie (Franklns robotic babysitter) decide to go to Wakanda to see how they can help, Ben gets nto an argument with Reed and decides to stay behind because he tired of "not taking care of home" and decides to help out Yancy street youth center from a corrupt contract developer and the Wrecking Crew (instead of magcally enhanced they 4 guys in highly advanced demolition armor). When the team arrives in Wakanda the Black Panther sets up a meeting with Namor (who is enamored by sue at first sight) they are suprised to see his chief advisors are Dr. Doom and Reeds father Nathaniel Richards who has been missing for 30 years(before he disappeared he was one of the of the most smartest men n the world and he was working on time travel) . Namor and the atlanteans saved Doom from drowning in part 2 and he has been helpng improve atlantis technology while manpulating Namor into taking the vibranum to save his people, but n reality he wants to take it for hmself and latveria, while Nathanial Richards was stranded there years ago with a young orphan named kristoff vernard (who has taken a liking to Doom). When negotiations break down between namor and t'challa, he and the fantasic 4 leave, but Namor at the behest of doom goes to wakanda and kidnaps Sue and Franklin now this diplomatic mission has just turned into a rescue mission according to Reed. As they prepare to invade atlantis via Black Panthers experimental teleportation device, Johnny calls Ben, updates him on the stuation and tells him "we leave in 2 hours, they have my sisiter and whatever he needs to get his *** here now". Ben, Alicia, and a couple of guys from Yancy Street gang go to the baxter building and take Reed experimental plane that can travel the speed of sound based of "pogo technology". The team invades atlantis Doom fights the Black Panther, the human torch goes against Kristoff (who is wearing his own version of doom armor, Frankie and Herbie (in Miniature Mecha form), go find Sue and Franklin and Reed and Ben(who gets there by launching himself in a experimental missle from the Pogo plane) Squares off against Namor. During the Mele nathanial richards is vsitted by Uatu who tell him you know what you must do this world depends on it. He takes Franklin and in blinding light they disappear. Uatu faces everyone and tells them that nathanial and franlin are on a important misson and he flls them in on who he is and tells them that galactus in his true form with his heralds the inhumans and is heading to earth to consume it and instead of fighting each other you all need to unite agaginst this common foe, but do not worry to win this you will have a secret weapon at that time nathanial and a 20 year old franklin arrive and says Hi mom, Hi dad. more

Resolved Question: Is this a good decision by this judge?

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Judge Lets Victims' Kin Take City of S.F. to Court San Francisco Chronicle Bob Egelko, Chronicle Staff Writer Monday, September 14, 2009 SAN FRANCISCO -- The family of a father and two sons who were slain in San Francisco last year can go to state court with a claim that the city is to blame for failing to turn their alleged killer over to immigration authorities when he was arrested earlier as a juvenile, a federal judge has ruled. City Attorney Dennis Herrera had asked U.S. District Judge Susan Illston to rule on the claim herself after dismissing the rest of the suit last month by Tony Bologna's widow and daughter. But Illston said Friday that the remainder of the family's case - that the city's negligence caused the killings - belongs in Superior Court because it is based on state law and challenges San Francisco's policies. Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, were shot to death near their home in the Excelsior district in June 2008. Edwin Ramos, 22, is charged with murdering them. Ramos, a native of El Salvador whom prosecutors describe as a member of the MS-13 gang, was arrested twice as a juvenile, for an assault in October 2003 and an attempted purse-snatching in April 2004. Juvenile courts sent him to a shelter after the first incident and to the city-run Log Cabin Ranch in the Peninsula hills after the second. Case records don't show whether police or juvenile courts knew that Ramos had entered the United States illegally. But under juvenile authorities' interpretation of the city's sanctuary policy at the time, they would not have passed that information along to federal immigration officials. Federal authorities learned of Ramos' status later but did not take him into custody for deportation proceedings. The family's lawsuit says the city was responsible for the shootings because its policy allowed Ramos to go free. Last month, Illston rejected the family's claim that the city's actions violated the shooting victims' constitutional right to due process of law. She said the city might be held to account if it knew Ramos posed a specific threat to the Bolognas, but not for releasing someone who allegedly endangered a large segment of the public. Herrera's office urged Illston to address the negligence claim as well, arguing that it was governed by the same legal standard: a requirement that the plaintiffs show city officials knew the Bolognas were in danger and had a duty to protect them. But Matthew Davis, the family's lawyer, said Monday that California law makes it easier to hold government officials accountable for allegedly harboring illegal immigrants or preventing police from reporting them to federal authorities. Resolved Question: About Drive-By Shootings?

A few days ago, i thought i was about to be shot. A black Jeep with blacked out windows and small lights around the front window frame was speeding down a street i was walking on. Suddenly it started to stop and stopped next to me a meter away. The windows were electronic and started to wind down. I ran away as fast as i could, and it started to follow me. As i got to the end of the street and went round the bend, the Jeep was out of sight. Then i carried on walking home via a popular road. The incident happened in an estate well known for few shootings and few stabbings. It is a rough estate and is home to young gangs around ages 16 - 21. I do not live on the estate but my estate is next to it. My question: -Does this sound like a drive by shooting? -Did i do the correct thing by running away? -Should i tell people (i've told my parents) -Should i be worried? -Should i be worried not to go onto the estate again -Last but not least, please provide any other intresting information on drive-bys. Thanks, Deano. more

Resolved Question: What doyou think of my video game idea?

I had a great idea for a good video game. You remember the popular video game series Double Dragon? Well I thought it would be a good idea to resurrect the well-known franchise that started the whole street brawler concept. I even had some ideas for the game that may make it amusing. Plot/Story: You remember that hard-to-beat shadow warrior from Double Dragon 2 that gave gamers hell on earth? Well the good news is he dead and gone for good. The bad news, he has a twin brother who is also a Gensatsuken master and is seeking revenge on the Double Dragons. He has sent what's left of the original shadow warriors and some new ones to terrorize the city of New York in order to smoke the dragons out. The new shadow warriors even attack the DD's martail art dojo and attack some of the students. While the Lee twins fought off the shadow warriors along side the master/father, Mr.Lee, the dojo was destroyed in an explosion and Mr.Lee made the ultimate sacafice when he allowed the twins to escape and was caught in the explosion and was killed. Billy and Jimmy Lee will have to fight the way thought different shadow warrior gang members in order to get revenge for the destruction of their dojo and for the death of their father. Gameplay: The gameplay will borrow elements from games like Shennmue, Final Fight: Streetwise, Tenchu and Beatdown: Fist of Vengence. The game is not just about beating up gangbangers and moving on the the next level. Players will have to play throught challenges and complete tasks in order to move the story along. Some tasks most be completed in order to progress through the game while other are optional. For example, one task includes playing a game of pool with a character named Russell in order to coax him into revealing information regarding the Shadow Warriors new hideout. The game features a stealth techniques where, depending on the mission, you can sneak up on an oppenent and perform a devasting stealth attack(Kinda remenisent of Tenchu or Batman Begins). There are 5 stealth attacks that vary depending on where you attack an enemy(behind, left side, right side, on the ground crouched, and in the air). Each character has their own stealth moves. Also there are double team attacks that can be performed once the team-up bar is full. The game featuresuper moves that can be performed when the super meter is full. The gameplay will keep gamers on the toes. Characters: Besides Billy and Jimmy Lee, their are a total of 20 characters in the game. Like fighting games before it players most progress through story mode in order to unlock the characters. Characters can be unlocked by either defeating them or by completing tasks relevant to the character. Just to name a few, the game will the following charcaters: Heros: Billy Lee: He began his martial arts training at age 12 and became a Sou-Setsu-Ken master at age 20. He was recently responsible for the downfall of the Shadow Warriors gang. Now he out to avenege the death of he father at the hand of the new shoadow warriors. Jimmy Lee: He operates the Sou-Setsu-Ken Dojo alongside his younger brother. He was also responsible for the downfall of the Shadow Warriors. He join his brother, Billy, in their quest to avenge the father's death. Marian: After being the damsel in distress on many ocassions, Marion decides to learn some self-defense of her own and is a part-time arobics instructor. The love of Billy's life, she is a very important assest to the twins. She can be unlocked by saving her from being attack outside of her arobics building. Russell: Big-time street brawler and expert pool player. You must beat him in a game of pool to unlock him. Tim Goor: He an expert kickboxer who barly survived being attacked by the shadow warriors. Unlock him by retrieving his lucky bandana that was stolen by a three thugs. Dillian Jones: He an expert in karate and can fight without the use of his eyes. Defeat him while he's blindfolded, he will be unlocked. Max"Smasher" Simms: An over-sized brute who a is an bouncer at a NYC bar. Defeating him in an arm-wrestling contest will unlock him. Villians: Returning Shadow Warriors: Williams: A grunt and old enemy of the Lee twins. He still uses weapons like knives and iron pipes. He also likes to dash or do front flips while approaching the player. Roper: Another old enemy who like to use incendiary bombs and boomerangs. Jeff: A returning enemy who uses his own rough style of Karate. He meaner and stronger than before. Abobo: Everone's favorite strongman returns for more. This time Abobo will be harder to beat and uses move similiar the Zangiffi from the Street Fighter series like the Spinning Lariate. New Shadow Warriors: Griff: An expert gunsmith and firearms experts. He was the guy who sold Willyhis machine gun in DD1 Rex Slugger: A former boxer who bad reputation got him kick-out of boxing(Based on Balrog from Street Fighter). more

Resolved Question: Is this another Sheriff Joe Arpaio in the making? Should illegals be scared of him?

Sheriff Gobble: Illegal Immigration by Bradley County Sheriff Tim Gobble posted July 24, 2009 http://www.chattanoogan.com/articles/article_155479.asp Illegal immigration remains a hot-topic issue all over the country. It’s important to separate those who come here from other countries through legal channels from those who ignore our laws and attempt to sneak in. The United States has always welcomed legal immigrants, but having people cross our borders illegally cannot, and should not, be allowed. The BCSO has been proactive in identifying and confronting criminal activity in our community, including those who are here illegally. Whenever a person is arrested for a crime in Bradley County, regardless of who they are, their identities are checked against our Criminal Alien Program (CAP) to determine citizenship or legal status. Anyone who is found to be here illegally, is turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for deportation, upon completion of their sentence or disposition of their court case. Last year, the BCSO arrested 49 illegals in Bradley County, and so far this year, we have arrested 29 more. They have all been turned over, or are waiting to be turned over, to ICE for deportation. This sends a message that Bradley County is not a sanctuary for anyone attempting to bypass or subvert our immigration laws. I cannot overstate how important border security is to the safety and stability of our nation. It is estimated there are between 11 to 20 million illegal aliens in this country. The unrestrained flow of illegal traffic across our borders has a direct impact on national security and the ramifications of allowing it to continue go well beyond Bradley County. International crime syndicates, terrorists and violent street gangs such as MS13 are well-positioned to take advantage of countries that fail to secure their borders, and they are doing so. National security demands that we must do a better job of securing our borders. With the country straining under weakened economic conditions and with some states actually facing bankruptcy because of uncontrolled spending, the influx of illegals burdening U.S. medical and social services is no longer viable. As a nation, we cannot continue supporting mass groups of non-citizens with U.S. citizens’ taxpayer money. I can’t fault anyone for wanting to enter our great nation and build a better life for themselves and their families, and if they follow the legal immigration process and obey our laws, they are welcome. I also support educational and work visa programs for anyone who complies with the laws of the land. However, we are a nation of laws and those laws were designed and implemented at the will of the people. As sheriff, it is my job is to enforce the law. I have always said that one of the first requirements of citizenship is to obey the laws of the land. When someone intentionally and willfully comes into this country in violation of these laws, they have failed one of the basic tenets for granting citizenship. The BCSO is doing everything legally possible to deal with the problem here in Bradley County, and I will continue to do so in the future. Elected officials have a duty and responsibility to listen to you. This government still belongs to “the people.” As always, I will continue to do my part to represent your interests and make government work for you. Resolved Question: Am I copying the Count of Monte Cristo's plot?

So here it is : the guy love a girl, but his best friend loves her too Both he and his best friend are members of a street gang, his best friend is the leader of the gang and want the group to start dealing drugs and going into the big stuff. One member of the gang play poker and gets beaten badly at a big tournament by the main character (who is a poker buff, too) The leader send his friend on a job (which in fact is a trap, since the other poker playing gang member warned the police), with another member of the gang (which happens to be a double agent). The double agent and the main character both get out of trouble, but the agent makes sure the main character stays far from the gang, so he can take his place high up in the ranks and do his job. Both the main character and the double agent start some pretty intense martial arts under a ruthless teacher. The main character gets deep into this and decides to forget about his girlfriend back home, since he has to hide from the police (which in fact, he lives with, because the undercover cop uses him to get information on the gang so to help him in his investigation) When the main character realizes his master is just some thug who doesn't deserve any of his respects, he comes back to his old neighbor, and sees everything that has changed. He goes to his girlfriends old appartment and finds a copy of the count of Monte Cristo (which she showed to him in the past telling him how great a book it is). He reads it and starts thinking hes been betrayed and wants his revenge, but he also wants to get back to his old love. During this time, he struggles with his new self, which is basically the image of his master, he doesn't know whether he is a good or bad person, since the teachings of his master are now part of him, hes programmed this way. In the end, he realizes his best friend didn't betray him, and that he has to let his girl friend go with him, he gets his revenge on the cop and the poker guy, and gets to accept his new self. I hope some of you red the Count of Monte Cristo and can tell me if you think (like i do) that this is way too similar to Dumas' Masterpiece. As I don't want to be doing a copy of something i cant reproduce in such a wonderful way (as no one could) more

Resolved Question: What is it like in Tel Aviv?

It might sound a ridiculous question, it probably feels like living near sandy beaches and all round sunny weather plus the fact that I read that from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning it is hardly to find a taxi or an open convenient store(blame WIKItravel if my information is not true)...what I am asking is that how people can follow their normal life under fire(I know TA is far from the lines)..., do they feel safe and sound, since the population is in constant military service(again WIKI), how they manage their normal life? if they are a lot of gun crimes and if there are many incidents with armed people involved(street/gang fights like the ones we have in England). Are people treated based on their religion?(for example is it possible to pass as an admitted atheist/etc?Sorry but please consider my ignorance accompanied by the stories like the one my friend told me that people in Army go to clubs and restaurants with their arms and I was wondering if it happens here in England, binge drinking would cost lives rather than being kicked of the clubs...maybe not relevant comparison but Guns and Alcohol is far dangerous than driving wheels and alcohol...again apologies for my ignorance. Many Thanks Folks! It gave a more up to date picture of the city...,I guess the busfare and stuff like that sounds cheaper than here and you probably have not that huge VAT there(some hotels I heard that they have different rates for residents and tourists...?!(perhaps for taxation???), peace be upon anybody...and I will be glad if others also drop a few lines about the topics I brought forward...oh one more thing which might not concern a tourist, I was a kid when I heard about the term Second Class Jewish citizens, a few years ago I asked a jewish friend of mine who was born and brought up there in Israel and he told me he has not encountered such issues for 20 years. A colleague of mine form Hod Hashron(sorry for the spelling) expressed an opposite opinion that it is an issue, considering the fact that the majority of people in the ANSWERS are from younger generations, do you feel that? I suppose that Israel is a very multicultural country but is there any racial issues visible?I forgot to thank you all properly, you all wrote very comprehensive texts, so should I assume that many folks in TA speak English fluently? more

Resolved Question: Do you think these war related jokes are funny? Star if you like.?

The Colonel's Order A COLONEL ISSUED THE FOLLOWING DIRECTIVE TO HIS EXECUTIVE OFFICERS: "Tomorrow evening at approximately 2000 hours Halley's Comet will be visible in this area; an event which occurs only every 75 years. Have the men fall out in the battalion area in fatigues, and I will explain this rare phenomenon to them. In case of rain, we will not be able to see anything, so assemble the men in the theater and I will show them films of it." EXECUTIVE OFFICER TO COMPANY COMMANDER: "By order of the Colonel, tomorrow at 2000 hours, Halley's Comet will appear above the battalion area. If it rains, fall the men out in fatigues, then march to the theater where this rare phenomenon will take place, something which occurs only once every 75 years." COMPANY COMMANDER TO LIEUTENANT: "By order of the Colonel be in fatigues at 2000 hours tomorrow evening. The phenomenal Halley's Comet will appear in the theater. In case of rain in the battalion area, the Colonel will give another order, something which occurs once every 75 years." LIEUTENANT TO SERGEANT: "Tomorrow at 2000 hours, the Colonel will appear in the theater with Halley's comet, something which happens every 75 years. If it rains, the Colonel will order the comet into the battalion area." SERGEANT TO SQUAD: "When it rains tomorrow at 2000 hours, the phenomenal 75-year-old General Halley, accompanied by the Colonel, will drive his comet through the battalion area theater in fatigues." Apologizing to China Time sensitive note: This joke pertains to the crash of a Chinese plane into a United States plane over International waters. China demanded an apology from us and stole technology from our plane when it was forced to make an emergency landing in Chinese lands. Dear China, We're sorry you don't train your fighter pilots better. As a token of our apology, here's a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000. We're also sorry your front-line fighter planes can't outmaneuver a 35-year old prop-driven airliner. Perhaps you'd like to purchase some surplus 1950's-era Lockheed Starfighters from Taiwan...since they just replaced all theirs with new F-16's. We're also sorry you believe your territorial waters extend all the way to Australia. For future reference, here's an American 6th grade geography textbook. (Please note the Copyright information printed inside the cover.) In addition, we're sorry you can't seem to see your part of this incident. We know it seems easier to blame others than to take responsibility. Consider this while we build several new Aegis destroyers for our friends in Taiwan. Finally, we're sorry we granted you Most-Favored-Nation trading status. This will be rectified at the soonest possible opportunity. Along those lines, we're especially sorry we treated you with such respect for the last 20 years. We'll definitely rethink this policy, and will probably go back to treating you like a street gang very soon. Sincerely, The People of the United States of America more

Resolved Question: Did you know that Obama is planning to tax the working class to give to the rich and politically connected?

Barack Obama's Cap and Trade is a Tax on the working class Who Pays for Cap and Trade? Hint: They were promised a tax cut during the Obama campaign. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123655590609066021.html -snip Politicians love cap and trade because they can claim to be taxing "polluters," not workers. Hardly. Once the government creates a scarce new commodity -- in this case the right to emit carbon -- and then mandates that businesses buy it, the costs would inevitably be passed on to all consumers in the form of higher prices. Stating the obvious, Peter Orszag -- now Mr. Obama's budget director -- told Congress last year that "Those price increases are essential to the success of a cap-and-trade program." Hit hardest would be the "95% of working families" Mr. Obama keeps mentioning, usually omitting that his no-new-taxes pledge comes with the caveat "unless you use energy." Putting a price on carbon is regressive by definition because poor and middle-income households spend more of their paychecks on things like gas to drive to work, groceries or home heating. The Congressional Budget Office -- Mr. Orszag's former roost -- estimates that the price hikes from a 15% cut in emissions would cost the average household in the bottom-income quintile about 3.3% of its after-tax income every year. That's about $680, not including the costs of reduced employment and output. The three middle quintiles would see their paychecks cut between $880 and $1,500, or 2.9% to 2.7% of income. The rich would pay 1.7%. Cap and trade is the ideal policy for every Beltway analyst who thinks the tax code is too progressive (all five of them). But the greatest inequities are geographic and would be imposed on the parts of the U.S. that rely most on manufacturing or fossil fuels -- particularly coal, which generates most power in the Midwest, Southern and Plains states. It's no coincidence that the liberals most invested in cap and trade -- Barbara Boxer, Henry Waxman, Ed Markey -- come from California or the Northeast. Coal provides more than half of U.S. electricity, and 25 states get more than 50% of their electricity from conventional coal-fired generation. In Ohio, it totals 86%, according to the Energy Information Administration. Ratepayers in Indiana (94%), Missouri (85%), New Mexico (80%), Pennsylvania (56%), West Virginia (98%) and Wyoming (95%) are going to get soaked. -snip Led by Michigan's Debbie Stabenow, 15 Senate Democrats have already formed a "gang" demanding that "consumers and workers in all regions of the U.S. are protected from undue hardship." In practice, this would mean corporate welfare for carbon-heavy businesses. And of course Congress is its own "stakeholder." An economy-wide tax under the cover of saving the environment is the best political moneymaker since the income tax. Obama officials are already telling the press, sotto voce, that climate revenues might fund universal health care and other new social spending. No doubt they would, and when they did Mr. Obama's cap-and-trade rebates would become even smaller. Cap and trade, in other words, is a scheme to redistribute income and wealth -- but in a very curious way. It takes from the working class and gives to the affluent; takes from Miami, Ohio, and gives to Miami, Florida; and takes from an industrial America that is already struggling and gives to rich Silicon Valley and Wall Street "green tech" investors who know how to leverage the political class."Did you know that Sen. McCain proposed the same plan?" Yes, I am and was fully aware of that "I wonder if the Right would be ranting and raving over it." We would and did. "Rather than overwrought and unsupported claims why don't the Right propose ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS?" We are. You should be dealing with what the article tells you instead of pointing fingers at McCain and Republicans. What McCain once proposed and the Republicans actions are irrelevant. What Obama is doing or planning to do, since he is in the White house right now, is relevant. Try to deal with something thats relevant."You people wanted a free market solution that made the businesses in control. They are." Thats news. Seems that government has its hand in everything now."However, we can avoid this tax by making our carbon footprint smaller - which somehow the questioner didn't take in to account." I didnt take it into account because I dont want to make it smaller. Making it smaller entails changing my behavior and/or the products I buy. I like the freedom of doing as I please without being forced to change via cap and trade taxes. "And, the same people who either pay the "tax" or cut their carbon use, also benefit: cleaner air," Cleaner air isnt going to happen. http://www.businessgreen.com/business-green/news/2213702/europe-cap-trade-scheme-hand http://www.financialpost.com/story.html?id=96dc23c8-33e2-45c4-bf6a-14aba852d764 "slowing of global warming" Global warming is a fraud. We humans do not have any control over it. "lower prices on low-carbon energy" No, HIGHER prices on low carbon energy."And, with a federal mandate existing, capitalists will have the political and economic groundwork to invest in carbon neutral (or better) manufacturing and power generation." They already have the "political and economic groundwork to invest in carbon neutral (or better) manufacturing and power generation". Its called freedom. A government mandate forcing them to do so is costly and disasterous.Still waiting for any Obama liberals to deal with the information contained within the article. ***crickets*** Oh come on, liberals. You all hold yourselves up as the big protecters of the little guy, the poor, the working class. Yet here is a piece of legislation that will cost them big time, Obama will hurt them big time, and you're absolutely silent. ***crickets*** Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? ***crickets*** more

I was in my house and i go outside, and there's this kind of old looking minivan with old ish paint like baby blue but soiled and rusted. It drives by, I can see two little gun tips on one window. (like the end of a gun where the bullet comes out) He reaches the end of my street (it's a dead end) and returns. Then he comes by again one more time but this time he's shooting and 1 bullet gets up in the skin over my shoulder. I felt it like a thump, and then i could feel it lodged in there under the skin.. All the time somehow I was labeling the car and person that shot me as a 'kkk' redneck type. (by the way, I'm cuban--aka hispanic. and I live in North Carolina.. so I guess that part just depicts that I'm kind of éhh'about people here) So I wait for my mom to get home, and she's saying they're going to drop two nuclear or idk what kind of bombs to clear some land out.. So I turn the bathroom light off and hide in there (my bathroom's on the middle of my house with no windows) So we wait for the two bombs to drop just in case there's a malfunction, then my dad comes home and we go to the hospital. They do it more like a regular checkup.. They checked my weight, ect. Then I see my friend there and I'm talking to her and instead of the doctor getting it out she just pushed it out (lol) and it was done with and it just had the little hole where it came out through. So I hang out with her for a while then go home to find that Joey (this 'Blood' gang member that I know.) *random information you might need to know: I'm a Crip, I don't like 'Bloods', but I get pretty well along with Joey and his friend Cedric. Joey got sent to a boot camp, so in my dream he's returning getting off the car and ggoing across the street. Cedric, another blood 'friend' of mine, is moving into the house next door. I wave and say 'Whats up slob?' but happily. (slob = derogatory term for Blood) and he was going to flip me off but my dad was in the yard watching, so he just waves. Then I show my mom one of the other bullet holes in the wall from when the car drove by.. Then I woke up. ...? more

Resolved Question: Should I pursue with writing or it's just not for me?

Gangster life When I was ten I runaway from home… Off into the street where I met all sorts of people from different backgrounds, different way of living and different attitudes. It didn’t take me long to fit in as I considered myself as they say: “as tough as old boots.” During the day we mugged easy targets, store things from the shops, and bullied students. During the night we slept rough sometimes we didn’t sleep at all. But deep down my heart this was not what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to become a very educated person and a great leader just like George Bush* or Margaret Thatcher *. One day we (me and my gang) went to a local school not that they didn’t know us there, they did. We were household names; infamous. We knew it was very risky to bully students from that school us we heard rumours that we were on the lookout by the police the head teacher had reported us. But it was just one of our biggest challenges and we wanted to prove that we were the toughest gang in town. We were on the school grounds waiting for our target. A car drove by, we saw a very attractive young woman, she was dressed to thrill, she had a tender face; her eyes were blue. We could tell by her dressing that she came from a very rich family. When she got off the car we followed her to her classroom. We snatched her bag as she was entering into the classroom and then we runaway. Some passerby students looked scared as they witnessed what had happened. I felt a bit of remorse after we had opened the bag and found some valuable things and what looked like a family album photo. But I didn’t show it as I thought that my gang members would have thought that I was going soft. We waited for her outside the school campus to mug her yet again as we believed that she had other valuables with her but we were in for a shock as she approached us with no fear. Who is the gang leader? She asked. Who is asking? I questioned. You must be the one. She said. You don’t look frightened for someone who has been mugged? I remarked. She said knowledge is power. What do you mean? What makes you think I am not thinking of punching you in the face? I asked. It is because you want my money. She said. I will give you a deal. I will pay for your school fees… I know you are a good guy CJ or is it James?! She said. I was shocked to hear her mention my name especially James as I had not used that name for years I had been going by the name CJ. I knew someone had bleached our code of conduct. I suspected the one who had bleached the information but I didn’t want to believe it as he was my first hand man the one I trusted the most. I felt betrayed and I thought of leaving the gang. She gave me her number and said. “I know all about you.” I felt powerless - weak. I rang her in the evening from a telephone box and I accepted her offer to pay for my school fees. As time went by I felt deeply in love with her and my dark side was subsiding. She knew I was into her so everything she demanded was done. If she said STOP - SMOKING. I stopped. STOP this … I stopped. She was good at drama that sometimes she’d asked me to rehearse her scripts with me. I became more involved in drama too. That when I was 14 I wrote a script which my drama teacher liked and it was performed at the end of the school year. Since then I have ghost written scripts which you’d never believe I am the one who wrote them. She promised me that if I were to be involved in a fight again she’d dump me. Unfortunately one day when we went to a gig one of my former gang member kissed my girl on the neck. My favourite kissing place. I punched him in the face and wrestled him to the ground I continuously stamp on him while he was on the ground and the gal ended the relationship. The police arrested me and I was released with only a caution. The girl still contacts me and she’s happy that not only I changed but that I am still writing scripts and I am back at home By James. “Her eyes were moist when I looked at her. I knew she had seen me with the other girl flirting. I could sense and see it written all over her face that she was badly crushed” True story! more
