Resolved Question: Birdshot or Buckshot for Urban Home Defense?

I have a 20 gauge shotgun. 12 gauge doesn't work too well when you are five foot four, 118 pounds. At least it doesn't work for me. Anyway, I live in a lousy neighborhood in Los Angeles called Echo Park. To give you some idea how lousy it is, the worse gang in America is generally accepted to be MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha Trece. They were born here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mara_Salvatrucha Anyway, I keep a shotgun loaded with birdshot. I would rather not kill an intruder if I can help it. In this neighborhood, if you shoot an intruder, and you KILL him, you better hope he is not a gang member. If he is, his gang will wait until you are no longer vigilant and then kill you when you don't expect it. What is the normal reaction when a peson is shot out of the lethal range of birdshot? Do they just shrug it off, and keep on coming? Or is it so painful it takes all the fire and vinegar out of them, and the fight is over? Would you be better off shooting the person in the legs, or would you need to shoot them in the face and shoulders? Again, I would hate to have to move because a stray pellet pentrated some guy's brain. Apparently, the gang around here doesn't hold it against you if you WOUND a member who breaks into your house. They feel he had it coming. In fact, there is an ex gang member around here called "Hoppy," (sick humor, he can barely walk) who is no longer in the gang, because he broke into a person's house and got shot several times and pretty much lost his health and ability to move fast. There was no retaliation against the homeowner. But, if you kill a gang member, they feel honor bound to kill you back. So should I use birdshot (what size?) normal 20 gauge #3 buck, or buy that special 00 buck for 20 gauge shotguns? Would you aim for the legs or the chest? You know my orientation. I teach Elementary School. The only place you can be what I am openly, and teach elementary school is two cities: Los Angeles or San Francisco.Corey Wikipedia disagrees. Resolved Question: What will be Obama's reaction to 105 hardworkers arrested in Dallas Fort Worth area?

Assisted by local law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Immigration and Customs National Gang Unit arrested 105 men and women during a five-day operation targeting foreign-born gang members and their associates throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, according to a report obtained by the Organized Crime Control Committee of the National Association of Chiefs of Police This was the latest local effort in an ongoing national ICE initiative to target foreign-born gang members and gang associates. This multi-agency operation, which ended July 17, targeted gang members and associates engaged in organized criminal activity. Sixty seven of those arrested during this operation are documented gang members; five are gang associates from local street gangs. Five additional suspects were apprehended on other criminal and federal immigration charges. Investigation is continuing to determine the gang affiliation of the others and their rank in the gang structure. Seventy-two were arrested on criminal warrants or charges; 33 were administratively arrested by ICE on immigration violations. Following is the breakdown by city where the arrests took place: Dallas - 57, Fort Worth - 19, Arlington - 17, Carrollton - 5, Irving - 4, Farmers Branch - 2, and Lake Worth, 1. Of those arrested, 57 are from Mexico, 42 are U.S. citizens, four are from El Salvador, and two are from Honduras. They range in age from 17 to 53 years old; six of those arrested were women. In addition to the arrests, the following items were also seized: two firearms, U.S. currency, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and hydrocodone. Those in ICE custody are charged with administrative immigration violations and are awaiting deportation. Three of those arrested had been previously deported. Anyone who re-enters the United States after having been formally deported commits a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Some of these gang members are sought or have been arrested for various crimes, including: home invasion robberies, drive-by shootings, aggravated robbery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession/manufacture of controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a weapon, burglary, theft, evading arrest, and resisting arrest. Those arrested during this five-day multi-agency operation represent the following 29 gangs: 15th Street, 18th Street, 6417 Melody Lane, Allen St. Crips, Brown Pride, Best for Less Club, Deuce Deuce Beckley, Eastside Homeboyz, Fantasmas, How High Crew, Jokers Only, La Mirada Locos, Lands of Shadow, Latin Kings, Los Pipis 25 in Mexico, Lynch Mob, Mexican Klan Locos, Mexican Society, Money Over Bitches, MS-13, Surenos, Sur-13, Swirving Heights, Tango Blast, Untamed Gorillas, Varrio Centro, Varrio Northside, Varrio Southside, and Webb Chapel Crips. Information received by ICE-HSI and other law enforcement indicates that criminal gangs are becoming increasingly involved in north Texas with smuggling and distributing narcotics, laundering illicit drug proceeds, and other illegal activities. Since Operation Community Shield began in February 2005, ICE agents nationwide have arrested more than 17,500 gang members and associates linked to more than 900 different street gangs. More than 200 of those arrested were gang leaders. http://www.examiner.com/x-37621-Public-Safety-Examiner~y2010m7d19-105-gang-members-arrested-in-DallasFort-Worth-area more

Resolved Question: Have Cities boycotting Arizona turned their backs on Americans long ago?

The unchecked flow of illegal aliens has seen Phoenix become the kidnapping capital of the nation, and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans, including the recent murder of Arizona rancher Rob Krentz. Of course, the murder of thousands of American citizens at the hands of illegal aliens does not in any way seem to concern those on the left who wish to see this nation destroyed. Since SB1070 became law, several cities, controlled by the left wing have announced boycotts of Arizona..The following is a list of those cities: -West Hollywood -San Diego, CA -Boulder, CO -Sacramento, CA -Los Angeles -San Francisco -Oakland, CA- -Boston -El Paso, TX -St. Paul, MN Additionally, the local leadership of Tucson, Flagstaff, San Luis and Bisbee are now in the process of taking legal action against their own state government. As we have seen in the past, cities which lay out the welcome mat for illegal aliens are simply inviting criminals to victimize their own citizens. In San Francisco, on June 22, 2008, three members of the Bologna family were gunned down by Salvadoran national and gang member Edwin Ramos. Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16 were shot to death by Ramos as they sat in their car on a crowded street, in the city´s Excelsior District. Ramos who is a member of the notoriously violent drug gang known as MS-13, shot the Bologna family to death because Tony Bologna had temporarily blocked the car in which Ramos was traveling, as the two cars made their way through an intersection. The Bologna men were returning home from a family barbecue. As a juvenile, Ramos had committed felony attempted robbery and assault Shortly after the shooting, the San Francisco Chronicle reported, Juvenile Probation Department officials, did not report Ramos to federal immigration authorities for possible deportation because of San Francisco´s stated sanctuary policy. Despite the rhetoric coming from many local officials claiming that they have no legal role in enforcing our immigration laws, that is simply a lie. http://www.examiner.com/examiner/x-35821-Immigration-Reform-Examiner~y2010m5d16-Cities-boycotting-Arizona-turned-their-backs-on-Americans-long-ago more

Resolved Question: Barbados Gangs. Watch urself!?

I dunno how many of you got this email but i found it very interesting and decided to share. PTA MEETING – MARCH 24th 2010 Allan Goodridge – PC 720 – Royal Barbados Police Force  Most gangs are well organised and operate by a particular code  The “wannabees” are the most dangerous as they are trying to prove themselves worthy of joining gang. These are the ones who would shoot or kill someone at random to prove how violent they are.  Most of the problems with gang members originate in the home i.e. lack of parental controls, rejection, lack of cooperation. Main Gangs Operating In Barbados (Other Minor Ones) Gang Origin Gang Colour Bloods Los Angeles Red Crips Los Angeles Blue Black Mobs Chicago OutLawz New York Panty Pudding Girls Local 313 Harlem Empire Harlem MS 13 South America Jamaican Posse New York, Miami , Jamaica  Some gangs practising voodoo/ demon possession  School girls becoming possessed (Minor gang known as “Gothics”)  Teacher at Springer School reprimanding 13 year old girl (whose voice was normally quite low keyed) and suddenly girl’s eyes staring and speaking in a deep male voice  Girls from My Lords Hill (Minor gang known as “Celebrities”) believe that they will become vampires. Wear all black, shave eye brows off and repaint them in black, draw fang marks on their faces  Some gangs use soft shoes as symbol e.g. BK shoes, normally known as British Knights but now used as “Blood Killers”  Roderick O’Brien Mayers aka OB, Leader of Bloods, deported from USA, deemed a menace to society in USA, sleeps with 4 body guards at the 4 corners of his house  Gang members wear scares, hats, beads as evidence of gang membership. Beads are worn and the longer the beads the higher the rank. Initiation  Burn 3 marks in the form of a triangle on back of right or left shoulder – this is known as the Dog Paw  Males are “beat-in”- surrounded by a group of gang members and each person delivers a vicious beating  Girls are “sex –in “– unprotected sex with at least 5/6 gang members. Some school girls reported missing on a Friday and then showing up on a Monday /Tuesday would have been initiated by “sex-in” during the weekend.  Potential new members required to kill someone at random, kill a rival gang member ( Bloods and Crips hate each other), commit a crime. Going to jail for such acts ensures certain bragging rights , respect in and out of Dodds and rise in influence in gang.  Each gang has a type of alphabet code which is disclosed to members. Some codes that children use while on the Internet o POS – Parent over shoulder o PORS- Parent over right shoulder  Drug /Gang Lords paying light bills, buying school shoes etc to ensure loyalty in a particular district. Panty Pudding Girls  All Girls Gang  Lesbianism (call each other “cuz”)  No underwear  Involved in Skin Out competitions – Club Extreme on Tuesday nights/other locations  Unprotected sex  Used by other gangs as bait to draw out rival gang members for execution e.g. guy killed by Central Bank recently was meeting a Panty Pudding Girl for sex but this was setup.  Guyanese girl used to draw “Tone” out of his house, he was executed using the 5 shot execution (both hands, both feet and head) and then his hands were cut off  Movada/ Vybz Kartel both came out of the 313 Harlem Empire Gang  Jay Z is connected with the said 313 Harlem Empire Gang. MS 13  MS 13 has been described by national Geographic as “world’s most dangerous gang”  Hang out in River Bus Stand and Fairchild Street Bus stands  Mostly Guyanese Recruits  Very vicious, extreme methods of exacting revenge. Hands, head cut off, abduction, torture, execution, house burnt down etc.  Gangs in almost every secondary school  Harrison College gang meets in Queens Park, including some former students.  Graffiti on walls tell stories about crimes (e.g. Nickname of gang member X, picture of a gun with bullets coming out of the nozzle and name of other person Y means that gang member X shot Y)  Some locations with Graffiti are initiation spots  Gangs have certain hand signals and postures which are recognisable only to gang membersBP - Hmm gang banging.......i seeeeeeee :p more

Resolved Question: Do those of you liberals who support amnesty for illegal immigrants?

Also tacitly support such uber violent gangs as MS-13? Illegal immigrants in the United States are responsible for most of the violent crime in large cities like New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Houston and Austin. However, immigrant advocacy groups have barred police departments and other government agencies from reporting violations of immigration law to federal authorities in those areas, according to Manhattan Institute scholar Heather MacDonald in her article, “The Illegal Alien Crime Wave,” published in the winter 2004 City Journal. As a general rule, Mara Salvatrucha exhibits no fear of law enforcement whatsoever and in the past has not hesitated to kill an officer. MS13 gang members are responsible for the execution of three federal agents and numerous shootings of law-enforcement officers across the country.Zeve: Again, as a typical liberal, you cannot comprehend the difference between 'legal' and 'illegal' immigration. This seems to be a startling error that is very common in liberal 'thinking'James V: Ummmmm..where do you get racism from enforcing US law? You must be 12 yrs old or less more

Resolved Question: Is it possible to be legally illegal with impunity?

The only time that proof of legal status can be requested is if a person is applying for an ID card or a driver’s license. A sanctuary city is a municipality in the U.S. that does not allow the use of municipal funds or resources to enforce federal immigration laws. The designation “sanctuary city” has no legal meaning. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, this actually happened: In July 2008, a criminal gang member from MS 13, an undocumented immigrant named Edwin Ramos, allegedly murdered Anthony Bologna and his two sons, Michael and Matthew. The crimes were committed in broad daylight during a traffic altercation in San Francisco. MS 13, according to the FBI, is one of the most brutal gangs on the planet and certainly the largest, with more than 36,000 members. Salvadoran immigrants founded the criminal organization in the early 1980s in Los Angeles. The gang quickly established a reputation as a savage contender in the illegal drug trade, as well as in the businesses of white slavery and extortion. Ramos already had convictions for two felonies that included a gang-related assault of a young man on a bus and the attempted robbery of a pregnant woman when he was 17 years old, before the alleged murders. However, due to San Francisco’s sanctuary city policy established by Mayor Gavin Newsom, Ramos was never reported to federal immigration authorities. The city rejected claims of liability. This resulted in family members of the victims filing a lawsuit that is still in litigation. This is not an isolated case. On July 31, 2008, Ivan Miranda, a 14-year-old boy, was murdered and nearly decapitated in a sword attack, again in San Francisco. An undocumented immigrant from Honduras named Rony Aguilera, whose street name was “Guerrillero,” was arrested for the attack. Aguilera had also been arrested in an assault case in 2007, but was never reported to federal immigration officials, due to San Francisco’s sanctuary policy. In early December, Phoenix Mayor Phillip Gordon announced the reversal of Phoenix’s sanctuary city policy when he said that the city would no longer back a policy barring police officers from asking immigration status. He said that he believes the action put Phoenix in line with federal law because it is unlawful to prevent a government official from contacting federal immigration authorities, pursuant to 8 U.S.C. 1373. If that is the case, then 31 sanctuary cities in this country are in violation of a federal law. Something is drastically wrong with this picture. Blatant violation of the law is supported by “officially sanctioned” defiance of federal ordinances on the part of local municipalities. Our government is fighting within on federal, state and municipal levels. Many countries would call this defiance an act of dissidence; some would perceive it as treasonous. It is certainly part of a system we can’t understand. http://www.jamestownpress.com/news/2010-04-08/Sam_Bari/Is_it_possible_to_be_legally_illegal_with_impunity.html more

Resolved Question: Why am I the only person who seems to mind illegal aliens?

They have destroyed my city of Los Angeles. They are 3 million in a greater metropolitan area of 9 million. All public systems have ruptured taking care of their poverty needs. Go into any public elementary school. The school teaches on the lowest possible level, because one third of the class is still trying to figure out the English language. Go to any public library. All the computers are being hogged by poverty stricken illegals who can't afford computers. Go to any emergency room with an emergency. You can't get your broken arm fixed for four hours, because 200 illegals are getting their free care for the flu. You can't get your order straight at McDonald's. They only put bilingual illegals on the order window, and they don't speak English too well. Don't try to be a cop, or fireman or ambulance driver----if you can't speak Spanish to deal with the illegals, they don't need you. They can't fix the roads or build new ones. They need the money for welfare and food stamps for the illegals. Used to be, you could make $20 an hour putting up drywall. No more. You can get an illegal to do any construction work at $10 an hour, and he doesn't give a dime of it to Uncle Sam. We have the toughest gang in the world, MS-13 (Mara Salvatrucha 13), a gift of the El Salvadorean illegals. They were outnumbered by all the Mexican Gangs, and became ruthless and disciplined as a coping technique. The Mexican Mafia runs our prisons. Cheap illegal labor, busts Union workers trying to make a living wage. Los Angeles is now a third world city. If it were up to me, you would have a REAL ID card that couldn't be faked, and the military would do "sweeps," and scoop up anyone without proper ID. I would militarize the border. Why doesn't anyone else feel the way I do?Minimum wage in California is $6.75 an hour. No one who works in a McDonald's in my state makes $4.00 an hour.California pays $10,000 to educate each kid. There are 400,000 illegals in the Los Angeles City Schools alone. That's 4 billion dollars just to educate the illegals in Los Angeles. You could get a lot of lettuce picked for 4 billion dollars. Why should business get cheap labor, if it ruins taxpayers' lives?Jack K There are 700,000 children in the Los Angeles Schools. 400,000 of them do not speak English as their first language. They don't because they are the children of illegal aliens. more

Resolved Question: What do U think MS-13 members typically work for legitimate businesses by presenting false documentation?

Three men with possible ties to the MS-13 gang were arrested late Monday night at 1604 E. Eighth St. in Jeffersonville. The Jeffersonville Police Department Drug Investigation Unit served a search warrant on the residence in reference to the possession and distribution of illegal narcotics, according to a JPD press release. Police seized cocaine, marijuana, a stolen handgun and an assault rifle from the residence. Two of the three suspects also allegedly were in possession of counterfeit Social Security cards, passports and state-issued identification cards. Police also found multiple pieces of MS-13 gang paraphernalia at the residence. Marshall E. Gray, 19, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana, dealing marijuana and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. German Arellano Sanchez, 20, was charged with counterfeiting, receiving stolen property and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. Ronnie Sanchez, 25, was charged with maintaining a common nuisance, counterfeiting and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. All three were transported to the Clark County Detention Center. JPD was assisted by the Charlestown Police Department Narcotics Division and the Indiana State Police. SO YOU KNOW • Members of Mara Salvatrucha, better known as MS-13, are mostly Salvadoran nationals or first generation Salvadoran-Americans, but also Hondurans, Guatemalans, Mexicans and other Central and South American immigrants. MS-13 operates in at least 42 states and the District of Columbia and has about 6,000 to 10,000 members nationwide. Right now, MS-13 has no official national leadership structure. The gang originated in Los Angeles, but when members migrated eastward, they began forming cliques that for the most part operated independently. MS-13 members typically work for legitimate businesses by presenting false documentation. They primarily pick employers that don’t scrutinize employment documents, especially in the construction, restaurant, delivery service and landscaping industries. The group is known for a high level of violence in its crimes. — Federal Bureau of Investigation http://www.news-tribune.net/local/local_story_205172935.html more

Resolved Question: Will the ACLU defend this gang leader?

LOS ANGELES – A man who left a ruthless street gang in Central America and won political asylum in the U.S. after starting the Los Angeles branch of an agency that rescues kids from gang life was arrested Wednesday as part of a federal gang crackdown. Alex Sanchez, 37, who heads Homies Unidos, was taken into custody at his Bellflower home on federal racketeering charges, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said. Eight other people were arrested. The indictment names 24 leaders, members and associates of MS-13, part of the Mara Salvatrucha gang affiliated with the Mexican Mafia prison gang. more

Resolved Question: Why are cops in Spain so much more effective against MS-13 and other gangs than cops in the US?

I'm doing a study for a private security firm, comparing the performance of cops in two metro areas (Madrid and Los Angeles) against a common enemy - MS-13. MS-13 operates across the US and across Spain, with a strong focus on LA and Madrid. However, there is a HUGE difference in the number of murders each group commits - MS-13 in the US commits a few HUNDRED homicides or attempted homicides per year, including a few dozen in the LA basin, while MS-13 in Spain only commits a handful (maybe 4 or 5 some years), including only 2 or 3 in the Madrid region. Why are Madrid police so much more effective against MS-13 than Los Angeles police? That's what I'll be studying. If people have ideas, I'd be glad to hear them. There are some preliminary theories: -Less tolerance for violent crime in Spain (if you commit a violent crime in Madrid, the neighborhood will turn AGAINST you instead of treating you as a hero, which happens in places like Compton or Cudahy) -Much faster and more comprehensive reactions by the police in Madrid (every single "shots fired" call in Madrid brings out the tactical squad, which is basically a combined counterterror/anti-gang response crew, while most shots fired calls in LA are not met with dozens of officers swarming the area all at once) -Stronger penalties for illegal firearms in Spain (in the US, most gun possession charges are plead out or dropped by the DA; in Spain, you'll get five years) What's interesting is that MS-13 in both Spain and the US is mostly made up of Mexicans and Salvadorans. So, that factor is consistent. Native Spainiards are not really into MS-13. So why do American/LA basin cops fare so poorly against MS-13 compared to Madrid/Spain cops? more

Resolved Question: ICE Raids Target Notorious MS-13 Gang Members Are advocates for illegals screaming racial profiling ?

Isn't this how advocates start out, how did the police even know they are gang members, did they made public annoucements. We want know if any of these arrested are actaul gang members or for that matter, the police have not allowed the advocates to review the entire case so as to decide, if these were really gang members or was ICE racial profiling hardworking taxpayers, breaking up familes,etc,etc,etc.. Federal immigration agents assisted by a Richmond police SWAT team launched one of several raids in the Bay Area early Wednesday, targeting members of the notorious MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, street gang, authorities have confirmed. Sources have told KTVU that federal agents began a series of early morning raids armed with at least 26 search warrants, many for locations within San Francisco. Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan said a Richmond police SWAT team assisted ICE agents with activity in the San Pablo area. He said the assistance was related to a major investigation into MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha, a notorious street gang. Federal authorities said further details of the raids would be released at a Thursday news conference. All Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Virginia Kice would confirm was that several raids had been executed. "We're out executing search and arrest warrants related to this case," Kice said. She added that more than half a dozen federal, state and local agencies were involved in Wednesday’s raids. . Kice said gang-related ICE investigations generally fall under the umbrella of Operation Community Shield, an "overarching initiative" aimed at combating gang activity. A description of Operation Community Shield posted on ICE's Web site states that the operation initially focused on MS-13 but expanded in May 2005 to include all transnational criminal street and prison gangs. MS-13 is a Los Angeles-based Hispanic gang that has operations throughout the United States and in Central America. It is composed of many loosely-connected gangs or factions of the same name, known as "cliques." Members are mostly of Salvadoran, Hondurans, Guatemalans or Nicaraguans descent. Their activities have caught the eye of the FBI, who in September 2005 initiated wide-scale raids against suspected gang members, netting 660 arrests across the country...http://www.ktvu.com/news/17780601/detail.html more

Resolved Question: What should be done about sanctuary cities that endanger national security illegals say we stoled their land?

"BK." Theletters are an acronym for "Black Killer." In Mr. Espinoza's case, the "B" was crossed out. The crossed out "B" means that he has killed black people. For assassins like Mr. Espinoza, part of their gang initiation is to go out and randomly gun down someone who is black. This and similar incidents should never happen, but obviously they do. Mr. Espinoza, who was also raised in the American juvenile system, should have been deported early on due to his run-ins with the law. Instead, he was allowed to seek refuge in a sanctuary ciity. In many ways, sanctuary cities are a threat to our national security. Illegal immigrants should not have a right to stay in America illegally. They should be fined, given a reasonable time to earn citizenship and monitored or deported. Many legal immigrants will tell you the same. After going through the hard work of earning their citizenship, they recoil at the notion of being associated with such activities. Indeed, legal immigrants consider the sanctuary-city phenomenon as a threat not only to their reputations, but also to their communities. They will tell you that illegal immigrants who commit crimes should not be given sanctuary; they should be jailed or deported. Not surprisingly, California has more sanctuary cities than any other state - over 30. These sanctuary cities aredestroying people's lives. Somehow, this fact is lost on Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who continues to turn a blind eye to the sanctuary-city phenomenon. Clearly, Mr. Villaraigosa is playing to his base; after all, Los Angeles has the second-highest population of Mexicans behind Mexico City. In fact you will often hear chants from the Mexican community that Los Angeles was stolen from them and that they're determined to take it back by any means necessary. For obvious reasons, Mr. Villaraigosa will never utter a word likely to offend such a large part of his constituency. Meanwhile, sanctuary cities continue to give cover to illegal immigrants who should have been rooted out a long time ago. Sadly, the Shaw family and many other families are facing an uphill battle in their attempts to rid California of sanctuary cities. Their stories need to be heard so that others who live in potential sanctuary cities will fight back. In San Francisco, for example, police officers and other city officials are prohibited by a voter-approved ordinance from inquiring into anyone's immigration status. Additionally, the city by the bay puts no funding or manpower toward enforcing immigration law unless legally directed to do so via a warrant or federal mandate. Obviously the liberal city feels good about these ridiculous policies or it wouldn't allow for a law that directly led to the senseless murders of Tony Bologna and his sons just a few months ago. Edwin Ramos, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador and a known member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) street gang, gunned down Mr. Bologna and his sons, Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16, when Mr. Bologna inadvertently blocked Mr. Ramos from making a left-hand turn in the Excelsior District of San Francisco. This was not Mr. Ramos' first brush with the law. The killer was booked on felony weapons charges and for illegal street gang activity earlier this year. But thanks to San Francisco's sanctuary-city status, instead of being reported to federal immigration authorities and deported, Mr. Ramos was allowed to roam the streets of San Francisco until his arrest for the Bologna killings. Almost as bad, San Francisco has recently been taking juvenile illegal-immigrant criminals and instead of prosecuting or deporting them, sending them to group homes in neighboring counties without notification. As absurd as this sounds, it's true. Not only are San Francisco officials not turning over illegal immigrants as federal law requires, but they are spending taxpayer dollars to house or monitor these criminals, and worse, putting their own citizens at risk. There is obviously much debate about how to handle the illegal-immigration problem facing America today. But if we can't all agree that illegal immigrants who commit crimes should immediately be jailed or deported, then we need to bring in federal police to do the job that the sanctuary-city police forces are not allowed to do. Too many innocent people are paying the price so that liberals can win their petty political battles. Unfortunately it might take more incidents like the deaths of Messrs. Shaw and Bologna before people wake up and demand justice. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/oct/06/refuges-of-crime-and-terror/ more

Resolved Question: can you help me with a story?

writing a short story and if anyone has any suggestions on what should happen next please send them. thanks. I staggered over to Juan Grigorio for the last of part of my initiation. Thirteen punches from thirteen members are how I would finally get into the gang. It is how I would finally have a family. I could taste the blood on my lips. The fog condensed in my head. I could feel everyone’s eyes on me, waiting for me to fall to the ground. My life depended on this moment. I needed these people, because there was no one else for me. The last set of punches began. I couldn’t even feel them anymore. The last thing is remember from that night was the man who just beat me senseless, other wise known as “The Boss”, telling me that I was in. I was in MS-13 for life. Living where I do, it was no surprise to me that I would end up in MS-13. In the streets of Los Angeles either you are in a gang or you make sure that you never cross paths with them. My mom and I live in an apartment by ourselves. As far as a father goes, I never had one and it never bothered me because my mom and I were okay. At least that is what we try to make everyone think. The truth is she is addicted to crystal-meth. Since she is high all the time it is up to me to take care of us. Cooking our meals, working to pay the bills, and cleaning up the vomit from when she gets to high. At the age of sixteen I have taken on the role of mother in our house. To the rest of the world I am Eliana Hernandez, another Honduran trying to survive in LA. In the streets, I am known as Hoopz because I can beat any boy who likes to run his mouth on the court. When I was younger I remember watching the guys from my new family hustle other people from rival gangs, beat them up for walking in their direction, and even kill them for whistling at the women who were considered MS-13 property. I did not always approve of what they did, but since I was kid with no one to care for me I wanted a family. I wanted them because I knew that they would have my back no matter what. Juan “The Boss” Grigorio always took a special interest in me. Asking me to get candy or soda from the gas station down the street for them is how I came to know him and the family. They looked out for me even though I was not an official member yet. The protection increased after I became a member. “You are part of the family now. If you go anywhere there should always be someone with you. If the cops ever try to question you keep your mouth shut,” Juan said to me the day after my initiation. These were the two rules that I had to live by. I looked around to see everyone in the set sitting in chairs around me. We were sitting in the safe house which was decorated with graffiti of our gang symbols and pictures of the leaders who came before us. The rest of the members were here to celebrate my admission. There were four twelve packs of beer on the counter, and I could smell the smoke from the joints that Raul and Lorenzo were smoking on the couch. Life was one big party to us. We had no problems because we always got what we wanted, whether it was given to us or we had to take it. The next thing I knew Daddy Yankee was busting through the speakers of the stereo. I got up with the rest of my family and started dancing. While I was dancing I noticed that José Morales was staring at me. Jose was Juan’s right hand man and took care of a lot of business for the family. He was an athletic twenty year old who taught me everything I knew about basketball. The University of Southern California gave him a full scholarship, but his knee gave out during his freshman season and he ended up back in the streets. I looked at him watching me. His muscular arms folded across his broad chest and the mousse in his hair glistened in the light. A toothpick dangled from his mouth. His chiseled jaw matched his tough guy look perfectly. Since José has come back from USC we had been closer than ever and I could not help but have some romantic feelings for him. I knew Juan might disapprove of this because my feeling might get in the way of business so I kept them to myself. By the look on his face I knew that something was up so I made my way over to the wall he was leaning against. “So what’s the deal? Did something happen? I am family now so you have to tell me,” I said to him. He smirked at me and looked away. Disappointed I moved in front of his and made his eyes meet mine. His green eyes were normally intense and piercing but that day they were worried and a bit sad. I knew something had to be wrong because José was always had everything under control. I was not about to just give u p on one of my best friends. Besides, after one hundred sixty-nine punches, I think I earned my right to know what was going on so I held my ground. He looked at me softly, took my hands, and led me to the back room were the leaders gathered to discuss important matters. He sat down in his chair and buried is head in his hands. I had never seen him so stressed. Finally, after five minutes of silence he began to explain. more

Resolved Question: Am I sending out gang signals by mistake? Is so, what gang?

I am an African American male. I live in somewhat of a rough neighborhood in Los Angeles County, down in the Pomona-San Gabriel Valley area. I was walking home late last night, dressed in all black from rock concert when I saw these Mexican guys throw up signs and said "MS-13 or die fool!". That's when I picked up my pace and hurried to get home, changed my clothes, and stayed inside for the rest of evening. It had a chilling effect on me. I did not even know that guy. Maybe it was mistaken identity or it could have been that black clothes at night meant something. Does anyone here know? This area used to be run by the Bloods and Crips, but now I think the Crips have died down out here and this group called Mara Salvatrucha is taking over, and they mean business. more

Resolved Question: Group of kids shot 2 fatally shot by wearing the wrong clothes?

I knew this was coming soon i was on my way to work today and i'm back in Los Angeles when i see a group of young latino kids. I never saw what happened but hear rapid gunfire and a speeding car and this is normal in Los Angeles. Then when i came back from work i saw it on the news. 6 teens who were not from a gang but 2 of them had on a raiders jersey randy moss #18 and MS-13 drove by and did a drive by on them and also since raider jerseys are white and black that is also the 18th street gang color. So what i'm saying is i think kid's who are not gang members should not dress or have an image of one its sad and heart breaking. 2 kids lost theyre lives becasue of the wrong clothes they were wearing. I been to the suburbs of Colorado and see white kids always wearing oversized clothes and bandanas on theyre heads and saying the n word in public having theyre music loud acting like a gang member. But I know for a fact they would crap in theyre pants if they were in LA. What do you thinkwow some of the people who left answers dont get it especially you mr trippin you say you will whatever you like i bet you wouldn't be saying that in the face of a real gang member don't try to act tough and there is no way in hell im defending these shootings what is wrong with you? im just saying parents need to watch what theyre kids wear or theyll never see him or her after they step out the door especially in LA. And the girl under there saying MS-13 needs to grow up no they don't true they have no life let gangs kill eachother its they're duty to kill rivals and if your wearing something thats gang affiliated doesnt matter what you gotta give an answer for it i think these kids should grow up especially white kids trying to act ghetto wow... more

Resolved Question: Should an illegal alien from Mexico be smoking marijuana while baby-sitting his three-year-old child?

A member of the violent Sureno 13 street gang was arrested in Greeley by a gang task force as he smoked marijuana while babysitting his 3-year-old child, law-enforcement officials say. The man was identified as Renato Rodarte-Bueno, 33, of Mexico. The arrest occurred at about 9 p.m. Saturday in a Greeley apartment. Carl Rusnok, spokesman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said that ICE agents originally targeted Rodarte-Bueno for arrest after they discovered he had returned to the Greeley area after his deportation in 1997. Rusnok, who identified Rodarte-Bueno as an active member of the Sureno gang, said Rodarte-Bueno had felony convictions for robbery and theft in Santa Barbara County, Calif., in 1993 and 1994 and was sentenced to seven years in prison. Before his convictions and deportation, Rodarte-Bueno was a permanent U.S. resident. At the beginning of the month, agents of the Greeley Gang Task Force learned that Rodarte-Bueno was planning to return to the Greeley area on the El Paso-Los Angeles Limousine Bus Line after an extended trip to Los Angeles. The arrest was part of Operation Community Shield, a nationwide ICE anti-gang initiative whose goal is to disrupt, dismantle and assist in the criminal prosecution of what ICE describes as "violent transnational street gangs." Initially, ICE's anti-gang efforts were directed at the Mara Salvatrucha organization, commonly referred to as MS-13. MS-13 is described by federal officials as one of the most violent and rapidly growing transnational gangs. http://www.denverpost.com/ci_8196977?source=bb more

Resolved Question: Is this why we don't want illegals here ?MS-13 gang, has alleged links to several murders prior arrests ?

Los Angeles — Authorities snared a once-deported gang member who is one of Immigration and Customs Enforcement's 10 Most Wanted fugitives in Los Angeles, according to MyFOXLA.com. David Rivera, 33, a member of the MS-13 gang, has alleged links to several murders and prior arrests on sexual assault and drug charges as well as a conviction for gun possession. He was arrested in an apartment complex in the Rampart section of Los Angeles by ICE agents and detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart Division. Rivera attempted to escape out the back of the property before agents nabbed him, ICE said. In addition to Rivera, officers also arrested two other suspected gang associates on immigration violations. Rivera had been deported and illegally re-entered the country, ICE alleged. If convicted, Rivera could receive up to 20 years in federal prison. He had been sought by authorities for four years and is expected to make his initial court appearance this afternoon in U.S. District Court in downtown Los Angeles, ICE said. "This arrest is the pay-off for perseverance, great police work and partnership with local law enforcement," said Jennifer Silliman, deputy special agent in charge of the ICE office of investigations in Los Angeles. Resolved Question: Why would any patriotic American support illegal immigration to the United States?

Here are the 5 main reasons, why I'm against illegal immigration to the United States. 1.It's illegal - Why would any responsible citizen support something that has the word illegal in it? 2.Tax burden - Sadly, few Americans comprehend how much money American taxpayers pay for illegal immigrants & their children. 3.Poverty - Illegal immigrants are importing poverty to the United States. 4.Crime & gangs - The very violent street gang MS-13 which is spreading across the United States, was started in Los Angeles in 1972 by illegal immigrants from El Salvador. 5.Illegal immigrants won't assimilate - The vast majority of illegal immigrants aren't coming to the U.S. because they want to become Americans. Illegal immigrants are in the United States because they are fleeing countries that are utterly dysfunctional, corrupt, & ruinous for the humans who live in them. Here are some sources to back up reasons 2-5. 2.http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=55135 3.http://www.heritage.org/Research/Immigration/SR9.cfm 4.http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4606846 5."In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."Theodore Roosevelt 1907 more

Resolved Question: Americans to come out of the shadows and remind Washington every day in words and actions that we are a sovere

Will the execution-style murder of three young students in Newark, N.J., finally turn the tide in the immigration-enforcement debate? Will we at last abandon the deadly, chaotic, lawless sanctuary-nation experiment and restore America’s lost status as a sovereign nation under the rule of law? The death of six innocent men and women and the injury of more than 1,000 at the hands of several illegal alien 1993 World Trade Center bombers wasn’t enough to convince politicians in New York and across this country to end illegal-alien sanctuary policies. The death of nearly 3,000 innocent men, women, and children at the hands of the 9/11 jihadists who exploited our lax entrance and visa-enforcement policies in 2001 wasn’t enough. The death of ten innocent men and women in the Washington, D.C., area at the hands of an illegal-alien sniper and his bloodthirsty mentor in 2002 wasn’t enough. But now we are in the heat of a presidential-election cycle. The open-borders opportunists in immigration-enforcement clothing are professing to see the light. With illegal-alien murder suspect Jose Carranza and his alleged MS-13 gang-banging boy helpers who are being sought in the brutal Newark murder case dominating the news on the eastern seaboard, politicians can’t find a camera fast enough to condemn the very sanctuary policies they promoted and tolerated for decades — sanctuary policies I’ve highlighted for years in this column. Amnesty-first GOP presidential candidate John McCain is now singing the enforcement-first tune. And GOP presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani vowed Tuesday to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the U.S. He’s touting a “tamper-proof ID card” that includes fingerprints for everyone entering the country and a central database to track when they leave. What Rudy-come-lately fails to comprehend is that there are already multiple alien tracking databases mandated by federal law that have yet to be fully implemented, integrated and used. The reason they don’t work is because open-borders interests have sabotaged them by restricting funding for them, objecting to them on civil liberties grounds, and pushing local and state governments to forbid public employees from checking them to verify citizenship status. Ring a bell, Rudy? Giuliani’s newfound border security zeal is intended to blunt criticism by GOP rival Mitt Romney of Giuliani’s pro-sanctuary record as NYC mayor. Giuliani has issued Clintonian denials that he supported sanctuary. But the record is clear. New York City’s sanctuary policy was created in 1989 by Democrat Mayor Ed Koch and upheld by every mayor succeeding him. When Congress enacted immigration reform laws that forbade local governments from barring employees from cooperating with the INS, Giuliani filed suit against the feds in 1997. He was rebuffed by two lower courts, which ruled that the sanctuary order amounted to special treatment for illegal aliens and was nothing more than an unlawful effort to flaunt federal enforcement efforts against illegal aliens. In January 2000, the Supreme Court rejected his appeal, but Giuliani vowed to ignore the law. To this day, the city’s policy of safe harbors for illegal immigrants stands. Giuliani successor Michael Bloomberg defiantly reiterated the official sanctuary posture of NYC this week: “Let ‘em come.” Could he be more callous, cavalier and out of touch in a post-9/11 world? From New York to Newark to Seattle to Portland to San Francisco to Los Angeles to San Diego to Houston to Miami, lawmakers have taken this go-with-the-flow attitude toward illegal alien border-crossers and visa overstayers and deportation fugitives. “Let ‘em come.” But in the wake of the Newark murders and the illumination of illegal alien gang crime penetrating the country, a new rallying cry came from the lips of Newark Mayor Cory Booker: “Get this evil out of my city.” That won’t happen without a demonstrated commitment to cooperate with the feds to enforce immigration laws and deport violent and dangerous criminal aliens first. A few weeks ago, I launched deportthemnow.com. Nearly 8,000 volunteers have signed up to make their voices heard. Our top priorities will be to push for the adoption of a program known as 287(g) to identify criminal illegal aliens in as many cities as possible; to repeal “don’t ask-don’t tell” sanctuary laws; and to support lawmakers like Newark City Councilman Ron C. Rice, who is pushing a resolution to coordinate efforts between law enforcement when an illegal immigrant is charged with a felony, and New Jersey Assemblyman Richard Merkt (R., Morris), who proposed prohibiting jail officials from releasing illegal immigrants and requiring them to be remanded to federal authorities. It’s time for ordinary Americans to come out of the shadows and remind Washington every day in words and actions that we are a sovereign nation, not a sanctuary nation. No more promises. No need to wait for Election ‘08. Just do it. more

Resolved Question: Los Angeles vs. London, England Which is the more worst hell?

No offense to you Brits & Yanks I know the word 'hell' in the above title may seem overexaggerate but I'm trying to lure as many people(Brits who visited L.A. & Yanks toured around London) who could answer the few questions below: 1) I n comparison, who have the more filthiest & neighborhood. East LA including Compton & Watts i.e. vs. the worst roughest slums & ghettos of London. Where would you rather venture especially if you are White? 2) Who poses more serious threat to communities? Lethal & destructive? Blood, Crips, Brown Berets(La Raza & Mexifornia) & MS-13 vs. Muslim radicalists & whatever equivalent ethnic gangs you Brits have. Who are they? Please name examples. 3) Suppose if Brits & Yanks exchange their degenerates, how would you handle them when push comes shove and you guys are pushed over the edge? Deborah Schurman-Kauflin, a Ph.D. researcher of violent crimes, told WorldNetDaily, “It appears as if there is a fear that if this is honestly discussed, people will hate all illegal immigrants. So there is silence. … But in being silent about the rapes and murders, it is as if the victims never even existed.” Schurman-Kauflin, who runs the Violent Crimes Institute in Atlanta, participated in a 12-month, in-depth study of illegal immigrants who committed sex crimes and murders from January 1999 through April 2006. The study found approximately 240,000 illegal-immigrant sex offenders reside in the United States – while 93 sex offenders and 12 serial sexual offenders come across U.S. borders illegally every day. Schurman-Kauflin said, “Gang rapes by illegal immigrants appear to be gang related. Many of the cases I reviewed involved gang members. As part of being a cohesive group, they offend together. Inflicting brutal gang rapes brings them closer together as a group. It is a way to demonstrate their power. And it sends a message to anyone who dares to cross them.” Americans for Legal Immigration PAC told WND it now is tracking 12 gang rapes by illegal aliens within America’s borders since Oct. 2004. ALIPAC’s president, William Gheen, said, “These are just the ones we know of. The real number is much higher.” Gheen told WND he believes the number of gang rapes is increasing as the population of illegal aliens in the U.S. increases. “Many illegal aliens have a rape and pillage mentality toward America,” he said. “The government has shown them they can break our laws on many levels without much fear of enforcement. Why should they think of rape or gang rape any differently?” Gheen said, “Illegal aliens are more likely to engage in these crimes because rapes and gang rapes are much more common in the gang-rule Third World areas they come from.” MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha, a highly organized and well-funded Central American gang, is infiltrating at least 33 states across the U.S., according to law-enforcement authorities. The gang is well-known in Los Angeles, Houston, New York and Washington, D.C., for excessive brutality. Any person suspected of cooperating with authorities is hunted down, tortured and killed. Initiation rites include kickings, beatings and gang rapes. Gheen said, “These gangs are forcing new female gang members to undergo gang rape to enter the gang and they are asking their male initiates to gang rape American women to become an official member of the gang.” MS-13 relies on metropolitan areas with highly concentrated populations of illegal aliens to boost its spreading membership. Chapters require that initiates perform random acts of violence, such as participating in gang rapes, to gain acceptance, confirm law-enforcement officials. Three MS-13 gang members were charged in the brutal rapes of two deaf girls, one 14, the other 17, in a Massachusetts park in 2002. One victim, who also suffered from cerebral palsy, was pushed out of her wheelchair before being raped repeatedly. Illegal alien rapists often maintain several aliases, making escaping justice easier. {snip}HEY,"alberto"!!! DUMBASS!!!! What's the matter??? Your little PEA SIZED brain can't concentrate that long??
