Open Question: Can someone proofread my essay?
There are many scars on my body. The most unique one I have, is the one on my left arm. I got it when I was five and it was the last scar I ever had. Also, it’s the only one, I have a vivid memory of. Also, I learned a very important lesson from it. It all started when I was in Vietnam and my parents had to go on a vacation to China. Then, they drop me off at my grandma’s farm. It was already sundown, when I arrived. My grandma greeted me and helped me carried my gigantic suitcases in. After that, we ate baked potatoes, chicken, eggs and rice. After dinner, my grandma persuaded me to go out and play but only around her farm. While I was outside, I petted some of her animals. Then out of the corner of my eye, I can see a loose dotted brown pig from the distance. Then, I decided to go take a closer look, but it kept moving closer to the woods. So, I decided to follow it until it came to a complete stop. In the woods I can barely see my grandma’s farm because there were about a million trees surrounding me . Then I decided to pick up a tree branch from the ground and I slowly creep up to a gigantic pig. After that, I swat its butt with all my might and it turned towards me and shriek. Then, I sprinted as fast as I could to my grandma’s farm. Then all of a sudden I tripped over a vast rock and my left arm was numbed. Then I stood up to find a lot of warm blood dripping from my swollen arm. When I got back to the farm, my grandma got really furious and bandaged my left arm. Then, I told her what had happened and she calmed down. Afterwards, I went to wash up because I had a lot of dirt and grass all over my body. Then she tucked me into bed. From that day on I learned a very important lesson, I learned that I shouldn’t mess with animals bigger than me. moreOpen Question: What do Napoleon from animal farm and Diana Moon Glampers from harrison bergeron have in common?

It makes me sick to the stomach to hear from people that most Americans are lazy, if they ever lived out in the Heartland of America they will notice that the notion Americans are lazy are far from the truth. Regardless of race, in the Heartland states, people are up at 4 AM in the morning to tend to their farms, the tractors are out in the fields harvesting, children and teenagers are out in the farms tending to Animals. They don't stop working till the sun goes down during the summer, and usually till 8 or 9 during the winter. Those that love the big city life should go out to the Heartland, there they will see Americans of all races living in Harmony, it ain't the South where there is still racial discrimination, it's the Heartland people. Don't be saying all Americans are lazy cause we are not. moreOpen Question: How does this (extremely short) beginning sound?
I knew I’d only been a lab rat for a few years but the memory of my life before was already beginning to fade. Every day, before the testing started, I would go over everything I remembered about my family’s small animal farm in my mind –the low, content moos of the cows; the happy clucks of the chickens just before feeding. I clung to the memories, desperate not to let them fade but in the back of my mind I knew they would. I struggled to remember my brother’s laugh, my mother’s smile, all the little things that I would give anything to experience again. But with every passing day I could feel the memories slipping away, along with my life. I knew it was only a matter of time before the experiments killed me. It was a miracle, if not a curse, I’d survived as long as I had since most children died after the first few months. I wished there was someone I could turn to but I never came in contact with any humans other than the men dressed in white lab coats. Today they came during one of my reveries, pulling my violently from the memory of my older brother, Spencer, chasing me through the kitchen while my mother ordered us to get ready for dinner –chicken and broth. I started it a few minutes ago, I want to know if it sounds intriguing to you. I'm going into eighth grade, by the way. Thanks! moreOpen Question: Ramadan: what is the No.1 nation on sexy searches? Pakistan also labelled 'pornistan' or ?
Ramadan: what is the No.1 nation on sexy searches? Pakistan also labelled 'pornistan' or THE UNITED STATES OF EROTICA??? What FOX news tells us: No. 1 Nation in Sexy Web Searches? Call it Pornistan http://www.foxnews.com/world/2010/07/12/data-shows-pakistan-googling-pornographic-material/ A rebuttal to that article: "Pornistan?" Only if you believe one Foxy intern from the United States of Erotica. by S. Kamal A couple of weeks ago, Fox News published an article on their “World” section titled “No. 1 Nation in Sexy Web Searches? Call it Pornistan.” The article has subsequently been the source of much discussion online, and has been published and circulated to a fairly wide audience. While the point of the article was unclear, the article called Pakistan the “world's leader in online searches for pornographic material” and stated that “Google ranks Pakistan No. 1 in the world in searches for pornographic terms.” My reaction to reading the article, particularly some of the lewd terms for which Pakistan ranked #1 in, was bewilderment. Perhaps this was why Pakistan’s economy is in such poor shape? It appeared that everyone was seeking the wrong type of stimulus. That is, until I started checking a few facts. Reader comments on the article on the Fox News website were promptly disabled, so I couldn’t voice my thoughts there. Finally, I contacted the author of the article – who, as I discovered, was an intern at Fox with quite a vivid imagination. Some facts: 1. None of the rankings in the article were published by Google. Rather, every single absurd term reported in the article (“donkey sex,” “horse sex,” etc.) was manually typed into two Google tools called “Google Insights” and “Google Trends” that give statistics for where in the world certain searches originate. In other words, every single term reported in the article was a term that the Fox News intern who wrote the piece CHOSE to search for. Now, if I were writing an article on the irony of a government that is passing laws against online blasphemy while its citizens engage in watching porn online (presumably the point of the story – although this hardly seems like a dramatic, newsworthy phenomenon), searching for “donkey sex” would certainly not pop into my mind first. So, I posed this question to the author on her blog, for which her response was: “I did not think up the searches on my own. They were brought to my attention from an outside individual. I am going to respectfully end my engagement in the discussion.” Ah. So her “source,” if you can call it that, is an “outside individual.” Must be quite the colorful character. 2. The method used to produce these results is obviously flawed. Interestingly (but not surprisingly), minor variations of the search terms on Google Insights yield dramatically different results. So I did a 15 minute exercise on Google Insights. First I looked at slight modifications of the terms in the article, to see how countries rank. As an example, let’s take “Donkey sex”, where Pakistan ranked #1, and change the search term to “Sex with Donkey.” The U.S. ranked #1 for “Sex with Donkey” for 2006, 2007 and 2010, and #2 in 2008 and 2009, while Pakistan does not appear in the top five countries for this search term in any of these years. Now, if one were to ascribe scientific certainty to such a finding, as the author has done, one could argue that “Donkey sex” (where Pakistan ranks #1) could refer to a search for donkeys reproducing with each other, while “Sex with Donkey” (where the U.S. ranks #1), is, well, less ambiguous. In this case, it seems that the Islamic Republic of Pornistan has a lot of catching up to do with the United States of Erotica. Along similar lines, the U.S. has also been ranked #1 or #2, for the period 2004 through 2010, for the following terms that are slight modifications of terms in the original article: “Sex with school child,”“sex with farm animals” and“sex with camel”. Pakistan was not ranked in the top ten countries for any of these search terms. To further demonstrate the ridiculousness of this methodology, I’ve documented some results from my own “research.” Let’s just say that an outside source tipped me off that Americans fantasize about having sex with their vegetables. So, I put this to the test. The results, according to Google: The U.S. has ranked #1 for 2004 to 2010 in searches for the following terms: “tomato sex,”“corn sex,”“cabbage sex,” “spinach sex,” celery sex,” “sex with vegetable,” and even “chicken sex” and “tractor sex”. The U.S. also ranks highly in several other searches, “not suitable to publish here.” Surely, these results have deep philosophical implications on the psyche of the average American? And the gem? The author claims in her blog that: “I contacted the appropriate [embassy] officials and attempted to contact multiple individuals in Pakistan.” Ah. So no one at the embassy responded to her interview requesreques-t. Yes, we should certainly take our Embassy chaps to task for not paying due attention to this groundbreaking scientific research; and wasting their time instead on trifling issues such as the war on terror, strategic dialogue with India, internal political strife, Pak-U.S. relations, etc. As another commentator pointed out on the author’s blog, a more reliable source for information on internet use in Pakistan may have been to contact the Internet Service Providers Association of Pakistan. The author may have found them through a simple Google search – if she wasn’t too busy Googling her sex search data.@brother blitz: Sister Salma (the Ahmedi aka Qadiani) has used THAT particular reference to incredulate muslims living in Pakistan@CARLIE: which language can you read? i thought it was english! but after i read your answer, i am able to understand that you may be able to read well, yet you understand not a word i shared with you all. moreOpen Question: Why do Liberals and Democrats have this imaginary idea that someone is keeping them down?

I tried so hard for my Ancient Rome economy essay ( 13 years old) and my social studies teacher said it was good but she reduced my marks because she assumed i copied and pasted. Now, another girl in my class who did copy and paste, ( which i saw and she admitted openly) got a higher mark than me. Should i tell the teacher for what she has done? I got 17/20 and i know i should be happy with this but it doesnt feel right because it wasnt her own. If it was i wouldnt compare at all. She got 19/20. This is my assignment ( dont have to read it ! LOL) The economy of the early Republic was primarily focused on farming and trading. Agricultural trading developed in Italy and by the 1st Century BC a diversity of olives and grapes was produced. While North Africa supplied a variety of grains the Roman’s main exports were olive oil and wine. Ancient Rome was a slave based society whose main concern was to feed the immense population of citizens. Farmers donated financial tax to the government allowing both the Republican and Imperial leaders to gain popularity as well as being able to feed the people at no monetary cost. Unfortunately this left the farmers with little incentive to produce more crops as producing more crops translated to paying more taxes. While the transportation of foods controlled the trading production there was also a vast exchange of other goods including farm products, livestock, silk from China, wild animals from Africa and many more from all parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. The currency of the Republic consisted of coins including the aureus, (gold) denarius, (silver) sestertius (bronze) and dupondius (copper). They were used from approximately the middle of the third century BC until the third century AD. The coins circulated throughout the Empire and even beyond – some being found in India. The value of a single, copper coin was equivalent to a pound of copper only weighing less. The imagery of the coins only became of an importance when Julius Caesar beared his own portrait on coins. Julius was the first living individual to have his portrait issued on the coins, prior to that, it was with the portraits of ancestors. The exact reason the Roman coinage system debased constantly is unknown but common theories involve trading with India. The largest industry in Ancient Rome was mining, which provided large stones for large building developments, weapons and tools that conquered the ancient west. Italy provided marble for the structures. Cities and towns established pottery, glassware, weapons, tools and jewellery. For military and transportations use, the Romans became skilled at constructing roads. They were necessary for their empire, as roads allowed the army to move rapidly, as well as transporting cattle and vehicles. The roads expanded to over 400,000km over the years, were created such as; vehicles were forbidden in urban areas except for the exception of married women and business men. Trade by land was only convenient if good were being transported in short distances, sometimes hauled by labour slaves. Most large goods such as foods, metals, stone and building supplies were shipped. The Roman navy, under Augustus was in threat as the severe weather, imprecise charts and bad navigation equipment could wreck on the voyage. Yet, despite the dangers, there was no better way trading cargo than by sea. The foundation of slavery in Ancient Rome covered up to 20% of the entire population (no less than 53,000 people). Those held in this position were less of a person in the legal system and weren’t entitled to marry. A slave’s price varied on their capability and skills. For example a slave trained in medicine was worth 50 agricultural slaves. They were the property of their owners and they yearned for freedom and escape. By the late republic the economy was reliant on slaves for both skilled and unskilled. Free citizens of Ancient Rome were divided into two classes; Patricians and Plebeians. These two classes were forbidden to intermarry and were categorized into their groups since birth. Although not impossible, it was highly difficult for the lower class to emerge into the higher social class. The distinction between the two classes was mainly based on wealth. The man in the family ‘owned’ his family, children and slaves just as he owned his swords and was entitled to control them as he wished. Women gained respect from their husbands or son. PATRICIANS: •These family groups claimed to be related to the ancestors (Romulus himself). •Sewed a purple stripe down their tunics to show their significance. •Large land owners. •Large banquets for dinner. •Wealthy higher class. •Each family member obtains individual rooms. PLEBIANS: •Working class of Rome. •Lived in small apartment houses. •No bathrooms – used pots that were thrown out of the window. •Cooked meals in public ovens •On moreOpen Question: Are you aware of how messed up this world actually is?
Sunsets and mountain ranges are lovely and technology is also brilliant, but this world is effed up to the extreme. I mean if I listed the crap in the world that existed the list would be never ending. Things seem to be getting worse. We are fishing the seas out of existance, filling them with oil, we are polluting the sky with more and more filth, landfills are filling up like bloody poisen pits, we're cutting down more and more and more trees, more and more animal species are dying out, the living conditions and treatment of our domestic and farmed animals is revoltingly shocking, poverty isn't getting any better, war isn't getting any better. A third world war would bring devistation and pain never imagined in human history with the amount of nucleah weapons out there. We are more scared and more worried than ever. And kids these days, they risk their lives, they don't care anymore because they've realised that the rate we're going there won't be a future. So what's the point in caring about it. I don't even know what to do. I hardly use any power, I hardly throw any rubbish out, I'm 90% vegetarian. I donate to rescue groups. But who the hell am I? One tiny person ,when a rich, fat guy rules in poverty stricken countries I can't even get near. Omg I know the world can be beautiful and hopeful but just look at reality. It's a mess. moreOpen Question: Vegans... do you avoid ALL animal derived products?
I was wondering, although I am an omnivore, I educate myself on all aspects of farming and animal derivatives. I was speaking to a friend of a friend, who is 'vegan' she has a fridge full of vegan dairy alternatives, and really believes she is a 'hardcore vegan' a 'proper' vegan. However, when I was talking to her (at a party) she was looking through her holiday photos (which are always made from a gelatin substance) she had a certain alcholoic drink in her hand (which contains dried fish bladder, isinglass) and she was eating a bowl of cereal, which contained vitamin D, animal derived. It just made me think, how many vegans know this? Of course some of you will, but there are some random things that you would never consider, it upset me to see her eating and using animal derived products when she was so proud she was vegan. (I am an omnivore, but I am not judgemental as you can see...) moreResolved Question: Can someone explain the political environment in Animal Farm by George Orwell?

I have two best friends who I would never want to get rid of, but I don't want any new ones. I like the friends I have and enjoy having them as friends, but I don't want any new ones. Ever. I feel like if I lost my current best friends, it would suck because they're amazing friends, but I wouldn't care enough to want to find new ones. If I had no friends, I would be perfectly fine with it. I'm not selfish, but I'm an introvert the majority of the time and I don't want to talk to them. And they always want to talk. I'm tired of talking. I don't care. People bore me. Besides my two best friends who I appreciate having, I don't care if I never spoke to another person in my life. On one hand, I love to compliment people out of the blue to make their faces light up (that's priceless to me), but I don't want to talk to them and get to know them. I don't mean to sound selfish, I'm not. It's just that (and I'm not saying I'm the only not annoying person in the world, I know I'm annoying in ways to) they either: -gossip -talk too much and don't listen -talk about stupid stuff -care about some boyfriend of the week -are selfish -are habitual liars -are smothering or all of this. It probably sounds like I'm Shallow Hal or setting my standards impossibly high, but I'm not trying to do that. It's just that now people bore me and I have no interest in getting to know them. Sometimes I don't feel this way and want to help people and know about their life to learn from them and all, but most of the time I don't care. I don't want to talk. I don't want to listen. I just want to know about animals, read, watch survival shows, and listen to good music. My life is perfectly fine without human interaction. I probably sound insane, I don't think I am. I feel bad because I know if I act like a b*tch to my friends that I can expect them to get tired of me and do the same. I don't know how to explain. I don't know how I feel. Sometimes I want to drop all of my friends and live my life happy and alone. Maybe with my two best friends. But they don't have the same interests as I do. And I know we're all different and that's what's great, but I want to live on a lot of land, living my own life in a small house, farming and hunting for the meals I need. Reading when I'm not outside. With 5 or so dogs. Almost like Secondhand Lions. That sounds like the perfect life. Without the solicitors. Animals don't judge you, they don't have a hidden agenda, they love you reguardless. I probably sound bitter and unforgiving which I'm not. I'm very forgiving, but I just want to build up a wall so I don't have to be hurt and even have to forgive people. Because they have no chance to hurt me. I consider myself a good friend. I try to be selfless and empathetic, but I hate trying so hard when 1. nobody else puts half as much into the friendship 2. people always want to talk. I feel like a bad, evil, mean old hag. But I don't really think I am, I'm just an extreme introvert who loves animals, I think. What's wrong with me? moreOpen Question: Is this a good thesis for the book Animal Farm?

I've been arguing with this omnivore who really believes that vegs are doing more harm than good by not eating meat. He's trying to convince me that I'm doing more harm with my vegetarianism and he's doing more good so I'm the stupid one. His argument is that 90% of farms are humane and the animals are happy. Vegetarians are not saving animals they're just making them stay longer in the farms we think are so horrible. According to him the meat we don't eat is just wasted. I mean if he wants to eat whatever he wants, fine by me. But how can people not see what's going on and make sense of it? What's the point of being anti-vegetarian?@ MarcThyme You are kind of off. Its the opposite. The heavy meat-eating diet we have adopted IS raping this planet of all the resources we have. Look it up, please. I'll try to give you as much information as I can, to be specific. Please, only answer if you really know what you're talking about. Not trying to sound rude... just honest. Okay, I am sixteen years old, and my dog of eight years died last week. He was a mutt, and a great one, at that. Still, we are going to get another dog- because he provided us with a feeling of safety. Buddy was a Black lab, brittany spaniel, pit bull cross. A purebred pound puppy. ;) His head came up to my knee (and I'm tall), and that was probably the only thing we would have changed about him. He was kind of little. You see, we live on a forty-acre farm, and there are a lot of stray dogs that roam by. They normally weren't agressive, but we were terrified that he would be attacked one day. We also have a lot of coyotes roaming around, but they generally left him alone. I would like a larger dog, that is capable of protecting us. (We've had robberies in the neighborhood before...) It would be an all time outdoor dog, but on very hot or cold days the dog would have access to my dad's machine shed office. (which has air conditioning, and is heated in the winter) A dog that will get along with other animals is a must. We have two horses, a Shetland pony, and two miniature horses... two stray barn cats that were dumped at our house, and a rabbit that we rescued. (Though the rabbit is in a large cage- out of reach) Another thing to note, is that my little sister has down-sydrome, which is a form of mental retardation. She is fourteen though, and has been with animals all her life. She wouldn't do anything like pull on the dog's ears, or anything like that... but we want a dog that will be gentle with her. Also, I would like an intelligent dog, capable of being trained with relative ease. I showed my previous dog in 4-H, in obediance, agility, etc. I would love to be able to continue that with our next dog. This means I have some experience with training. Lastly, the front of our yard- the part exposed to the highway, is fenced off, so the dog would be safe from traffic. The dog would have plenty of room to run, and I'd take it with me in my truck to go to town for long jog/walks. So, excercise is not an issue. Neither is shedding- completely outdoor dog, remember? I was sort of thinking a German Shepherd, but I hear they have a tendency to bite. Any suggestions? (PS- I won't be buying a purebreed. I'll be searching the animal shelters around my hometown for a dog that is MOSTLY the type of breed you would suggest.) Thanks~ moreResolved Question: I have to do a creative task on the Dalai Lama?

The rational explanation is that modern humans evolved from ape-like creatures that gradually became more advanced. They started out using primitive tools, much like today’s wild chimps that use stones to break open nuts, then these tools became more complex. As their tools became more complex, their understanding of basic cause and effect physics grew and eventually they harnessed fire. Once fire was harnessed, their technology grew rapidly and their societies became more advanced with agriculture and commerce replacing the hunter gatherer lifestyle. This is a scenario that is backed up by mountains of evidence and even though science will never say that this is the absolute truth, it is the best explanation we have. Do Christians accept this or do they believe some myth about a creator god who brought humans into existence much as we are today? According to Christians, there was no gradual change from primitive to advanced and humans were created with the ability to use fire and farm animals, right? moreOpen Question: Animal farm- boxer, 5 to 7 things that represent him?

Bare with me, it's long. So, I'm a Freshman. I am taking all advanced classes this year. This includes Honors English 9. I am required to read 5 books. I have read The Outsiders and Animal Farm. Both were awesome books, simple to read. I still have A Separate Piece, Mythology, and Anthem to read. I procrastinated ALL summer. I went to Vegas, went to the beach, and put off reading. Don't lecture me. I feel like Karma already laughed in my face when I received my schedule and realized I had Honors English first semester, first period. Tangents aside, I find Mythology and Anthem kinda hard to read. (A Separate Piece is the least of my worries) Anthem, well if you have read it you know Ayn Rand uses we and us instead of I or me, and quite frankly it confuses my small noodle. It's a small change that makes all the difference when reading a work of literature. It's odd, and not what I am accustomed to. And Mythology, well it's impossible to just sit down and read the darn book! It's so, bleh. Don't get me wrong, Greek and Roman Mythology is fascinating and all, but the book is just so hard to get through. I can only read like, 6 pages of either at one time. So, any advice? Don't tell me to go in a quiet room with no computers, tvs, noise, people, etc. I have tried this. Hell, I laid on the beach, with the soothing waves masking anyone's voice. Did it help? No. Gosh, what am I thinking. You people can't do anything about it. I guess I just wanted to vent my petty issues. Ahh well, I typed this much. (:Ah yes! Genius! I want to invent or at least buy a mini human farm. You know like in Spy Kids 2 with the mini zoo animals? Except the humans on the farm would be genetically engineered and have lower intelligence. Some people may think this is sick but how awesome would it be to have mini humans fight bugs with toothpicks like gladiators? moreOpen Question: What breed of horse would this be?
My aunt has a horse farm and I am currently visiting there. There is this horse that really grabs my eye. His name is Sulavan, or Sully. He is very tall, with deep gold eyes. He is all white, maybe a shade darker, a bit grey. His long legs make him a bit clumsy and his mane is a medium legnth, I guess. He has a extremely long tail, and is very very friendly. His body hair is short all over. No cuffs around the legs. Allmost something like this horse in this picture, but he is way taller. http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www.solarnavigator.net/animal_kingdom/animal_images/Horse_white_united_states_2005.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.solarnavigator.net/animal_kingdom/mammals/horses.htm&usg=__EhoVbkzee70hjbJkG8QUQeic_4s=&h=375&w=473&sz=17&hl=en&start=0&tbnid=CY5nJfKT2NlF4M:&tbnh=144&tbnw=188&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dwhite%2Bhorse%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1021%26bih%3D485%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C19&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=548&vpy=190&dur=134&hovh=200&hovw=252&tx=122&ty=167&ei=bJNYTLH_EImnnAfl8cTdCA&page=1&ndsp=8&ved=1t:429,r:6,s:0&biw=1021&bih=485 moreOpen Question: What animal sounds best for me?

I am a true animal lover. I absolutely detest the idea of fur farms, slaughter houses, and people who are just plain cruel to animals. However, I do love the look of fur, the feel of it, and I think that it really looks good on most people. However, I do not think that it is worth what those poor animals go through at all. I am a vegetarian and am a true animal rights supporter, but I really have conflicting opinions of fur. Questions : What is your opinion on fur wearing? Do you ever wear real fur? Where can you buy really good faux fur that looks exactly like real fur? Any additional comments or opinions are greatly appreciated. moreOpen Question: How to bring business to a farm ?

i have been struggling with myself for years about going vegetarian. i am such an animal lover, sadly i do love meat! i've come to the point now where i'm ready to give it up. i'm finally going to start this coming sunday. my questions is, how much impact am i going to making if i'm going vegetarian and not vegan? maybe eventually i'll become vegan, but i don't think it'll work for me to jump right into that. i do know that dairy farms and egg laying hens are treated just as cruelly as the animals raised for meat. is going just vegetarian enough? also, how many of you are pescatarian? it seems that most of my friends that are "vegetarians" also eat fish. thank you!!!luckily i love almond milk and have never been a fan of regular milk, so i'm good there!kyledone3456- many people still enjoy bbq's while being a vegetarian! do you know how many amazing all veggie dishes exist? tons! you'd be really surprised. moreOpen Question: neeeed help please!!!!?
I've started a dissertation on the effect of meat quality at abattoirs from e.g parasites etc. So far I have visited 3 abattoirs and collected data on reasons why meat has been rejected and the parts of the animal that has been rejected... I need to go to another 7 abattoirs yet, is 10 a decent sample size? Because I have trouble with abattoirs wanting to co-operate with me and say they don't want to discuss such info. I was wondering, what can I actually prove with the data ive collected... I was thinkin of linkin poor farm husbandry with poor standard of meat from diseases for example. moreOpen Question: Orkney Islands - A farm to stay for 2 nights?

I'm reading this book for the first time, i'm finding it an absolutely enthralling read. However on chapter 7 there is a blemish of ink on page number 60 (I realize that this will change depending on the copy). When Squealer is trying to persuade the other animals that Snowball was trying to sabotage the fight against humanity in The Battle of Cowshed, Boxer tries to defend Snowball before Squealer ensures Boxer that Napoleon had "stated categorically' that snowball was Jones' secret agent. My question is what does Boxer say after Squealer's speech. Thank you in advance moreOpen Question: Is it right for my Dad and Uncle Hampton to laugh at the Tea Party people?
I thought they were doing a good job with helping get rid of Socialism and all, but Dad says we are using them like Farm Animals on a cold lonely night. He says that they are just a bunch of retired welders and truck drivers who he and his friends get all stirred up and carrying signs and get more people to vote for people like his friend James Inhofe. He says they help get people elected who will keep us rich and them poor but he appreciates their service. Uncle Hampton says that they will help me save a bundle on Estate Taxes when he dies but not to get too close to them because they smell bad from all that sign carrying and marching. moreResolved Question: Animal Farm and Fahrenheit 451 help?
Ok the answers to these questions has to relate to both of the books. 1. What is the theme 2. What are some allusions (this doesn't have to go with both books) 3. What is some iron (this doesn't have to go with both books) here is the essay question that i have In a well developed five paragraph essay discuss what you consider to be the central theme of Animal Farm and Fahrenheit 451. Indicate how the plot, characters, and use of allusions and irony convey the theme. Remember to support your opinion with concrete examples from the novel. Also, I do not want any study guides unless it straight forward answers one of them. I know this is a hard one so I am apologizing but any help would be greatly appreciated.First of all, I have read both books. I am brain blocked for the moments and i dont have time to wait. Also, does it really matter if there are a few spelling errors, because you know what im talking about. moreWelcome to Animals Farming News
