Welcome to Deficient Questions and Answers
Open Question: Did I make a mistake by doing so...?
Uhmmm...for my summer reading assignment I got a bit carried away with sentences. It said a 3-4 sentence paragraph for each question..Except my answers were a bit longer that required.. :/ Example: 5. Why do you think Mayella lies in court? Do you feel sorry for her? Why or why not? I personally believe that Mayella is internally forced by herself to lie in court due to the time period, the setting of the novel, and given that she does not want to succumb the truth to risk getting continuously physically abused and underfed by her father. Furthermore, she knows that if she reveals the truth she will be endlessly scorned by the preponderance of the society, considering that a Caucasian kissing or being intimate a black man is extremely immoral by the standards of Maycomb. There is an ample amount of evidence during the trial that causes me to pity her, including her deficient knowledge of what friends are. For instance, when Atticus asks her if she has any friends she maliciously responds, “You makin’ fun o’ me agin, Mr. Finch?”, for she does not know what he means by “friends” and assumes he is ridiculing her. When Mayella states that she believes Atticus is deriding and mocking her it makes me feel sympathy towards her, because my theory is that she has been intensely lonely all her life without anyone to look up to, to truly love, or to help her. Another element that makes me feel benevolence towards Mayella is the fact that she was born into the most impoverished and abominable family in Maybomb. As a result of her family’s bad reputation she is labeled negatively as an “Ewell” and stereotyped as “white trash”. A proper education is a luxury she never receives as a result of being an “Ewell”, due to her family’s lack of priority in education. To conclude, I feel a combination of condolence and animosity for Mayella. Uhm...Am I gonna get points counted off for overdoing the sentences? It only took me about 5-10 minutes to think of an answer and type it... I'm worried because I know in college admission essays if you go over the word limit they don't read the rest and I'm wondering if it goes for school assignments too. My score would be really low if my teacher only read the first 4 sentences of each answer. moreOpen Question: Did I make a mistake by doing this?

My son's pediatrician recommended 100mg of Fer-In-Sol per day for my 3 year old who is Iron deficient. Is that a safe level? The package worries me because it talks about the dangers of over consumption of iron in children. I know the safe upper limit for children is around 20-mg/day (or at least that is what I have read). moreOpen Question: How to treat ADD naturally(by therapy)?

He is rightly regarded as the father of modern psychiatry -- as revolutionary a thinker as Darwin, as daring an explorer of the interior world as Columbus was of the exterior. Sigmund Freud not only developed the most profound theory to explain the workings of the human mind, but he also devised much of the terminology -- from Oedipus complex to penis envy -- that has become part of the language. The discipline he founded, psychoanalysis, became the world's most famous technique for helping the troubled come to grips with the demons haunting their minds. But with the advent of new drug therapies, Freudian analysis has become almost irrelevant to the treatment of severe depression and schizophrenia. Granted, even the most pharmacology-minded of experts agree that the drugs work best in conjunction with some form of therapy. Yet psychiatrist Samuel Perry of Cornell University Medical College estimates that less than 1% of depression sufferers in the U.S. are being treated with traditional psychoanalysis -- that is, a long-term series of regular sessions with a psychiatrist. Though this technique is still considered suitable for treating neurotics who have trouble coping with everyday stress, not even the most fanatic Freudians believe psychoanalysis alone can cope with severe cases of schizophrenia or severe depression. Relatively little of Freud's voluminous work is devoted to the empirical study of clinical depression. His writings discuss only four patients who were known for certain to have suffered from major depression, and he published only one paper on the subject -- "Mourning and Melancholia" (1917) -- which contrasted ordinary grief and acute depression. He wrote somewhat more extensively about schizophrenia, which he called "paraphrenia." But he was always doubtful that psychoanalysis would be of much help in treating it. The schizophrenic's lack of interest in the external world, Freud wrote, made him inaccessible to transference. That is the key psychological process by which a patient redirects unconscious feelings retained from childhood toward an analyst. It was Freud's later disciples, rather than the master himself, who popularized the use of psychoanalysis to treat depression and even schizophrenia. Feminists complain that Freud's view of women, as mercurial creatures with a deficient sense of moral standards, was downright misogynistic. Even some orthodox Freudians concede that his emphasis on sexuality as the root cause of all neuroses was too narrow. Nonetheless, Freud's ideas still have impact. Says Arnold Cooper, past president of the American Psychoanalytic Association: "You and everybody you know is a Freudian, and they probably don't even know it. We have all drunk in basic Freudian tenets." Freud was a pioneer in mapping the unconscious mind and theorizing how it could be reached and interpreted. He was the first to speculate that traumatic events of childhood could influence the way adults see the world. And he was the first also to postulate that patients in psychoanalysis, rather than the doctor, could direct therapy and contribute to their own cure Freud took two pieces of Vermont folk wisdom and turned them into a science," says psychiatry professor Thomas Gutheil of Harvard medical school. "The first was, 'There's a whole lot more to folks than meets the eye.' This became known as the theory of the unconscious. The second was, 'Keep your mouth shut and you might learn something.' He changed the position of the doctor from that of an authoritarian giving orders to a more receptive role. Freud said, 'Let the patient talk and tell the story.' " In that sense, all forms of talk therapy can be considered a Freudian legacy. Even the sex obsession of today's society can be read as evidence that contemporary culture indirectly reflects Freud's deepest concerns. Perhaps W.H. Auden got it right after all in his poetic tribute to the Viennese master, written a few months after Freud's death in 1939: If often he was wrong and at times absurd, To us he is no more a person now But a whole climate of opinion Under whom we conduct our differing lives. moreOpen Question: I have hypothyroidism and I'm also iron deficient but my meds give me a sick headache?
I'm unsure if it's the Eutroxsig or the Ferro-tab or the combination of both but when I take them I gradually get so sick I that I have to take two strong pain killers and spray sinus spray up my nose. I was wondering are there any natural remedies for hypothyroidism and iron deficiency? Thanks moreResolved Question: Atheists: Is raising a child "all-atheist" deficient for them in a way that an all-fruit diet would be?
moreOpen Question: Have you seen beneath the hardened surface yet?
You pass them on the city streets, they nod a greeting, and shuffle feet but not from weakness or timidity, and they are hungry, what they eat are souls. Their eyes are always searching, and they're swift to catch a fish whose attention is deficient. Dirty, scarred quick fists snatch and retreat. All-you-can-eat spiritual buffet. Their eyes are like holes and they smell like decay after the slaughterhouse has been closed for the season. Don't look into their eyes, lest you give them reason and need to subordinate you. Desperation is their spur. They lives lives chased by demons and incur wrath of the forsaken, forgotten, those abused; the enemies with which others have them confused. If you are of the latter, stand up now to fight for good. Reveal the evil rictus that grins beneath the hood.HH: Lucky you. moreOpen Question: Nutritional Deficiency?
I think I'm deficient in a vitamin, mineral or something from my diet. I'm 15 years old right now and I'm hungry just about every second, at first I thought it was because I was growing but I'm hungry even while I'm eating and after meals The hunger is also weird because it feels like I should eat something specific. Sometimes I'll eat a lot and I'll feel like I'll throwing up but I'll still feel hungry. Other info about me: I work out like 5 or 6 times a week and I got a cold or infection(not sure) recently with symptoms of a sore throat, runny nose, lots of sneezing and it makes me more tired during workouts. I think that is connected because I have a strong immune system and rarely get sick, even right now its not that bad. The amount I'm eating is affecting my digestive system a lot for obvious reasons, it feels kind of unhealthy how often I go and how much I let out. So if anyone can tell me what to do or what vitamin I need, that'd be great. moreResolved Question: Will i get held back ?

If so can we now put 9/11 behind us and addess the waste of taxpayer money that is the culturally deficient, fabricating, distress causing and unprofessional, by the standards of (example) self regulating accountants, 'system' that is democracy as it is a 'system' that can not be voted against and, to put this mildly, is unfit for purpose. The good will of the sane (or informed) has boiled dry. As the flames lick higher expect a public statement from No 10 stating, '...a watched pot never boils.' Camberwell! I detect planning. An additional fact to this issue is that Whitehall advised Washington in the 1970s on the issue of Afghanistan and by following Whitehall advice withdrawal of Soviet forces but also 9/11 occured. Considering the text of the advice 9/11 was inevitable considering the negative outcomes for the people under British colonial rule. moreResolved Question: Is there such a doctor in Houston that handles infertility problems through delivery?
I've been having trouble conceiving & m/c early on in pregnancy when I do and would really like a doctor that will handle infertility issues and do procedures such as IUI but will also be my doctor all the way through delivery - I live in Houston. I don't even know if such a doctor exists but if anyone out there has an OB GYN that does IUI and delivers - please answer! I suspect I might have lost the last pregnancy b/c the ob gyn "forgot" to order the thryoid panel & I might have been deficient in thyroid medication whereas if I'd stayed w/ one doc it might not have happened. moreResolved Question: im deficient of pretty much all vitamins and minerals.. help!?

I need someone to read the two summarys & answer the questions. I want to see if they match mines. Please, thank you. Scientist 1: The atmosphere of the Earth was at one time almost totally lacking in oxygen. One piece of evidence supporting this assertion is the very fact that life got started at all. The first chemical reactions that are necessary for the origin of life, the formation of amino acids, require ultraviolet light. Most of the ultraviolet light coming from the sun is now absorbed by oxygen in the atmosphere. If there were as much oxygen in the atmosphere then as now there have been too little ultraviolet light available to enable life to begin. Also, the oldest bacteria, the ones that have the shortest DNA, are almost all anaerobes - they either do not need oxygen or die if exposed to oxygen. Most of the oxygen that exists now entered the atmosphere later from volcanic fumes. Scientist 2: The prevailing opinion is that the atmosphere, though thicker now than it was in the past, is not essentially different in composition. The argument that the Earth must originally have been deficient in oxygen is flawed. First of all, the presence of iron and other oxides in the rocks from this time indicates that there was oxygen available. Secondly, the requirement for a great deal of ultraviolet light holds only if there is a low concentration of the starting materials in the water. If the water in some prehistoric lake began to freeze, the starting materials would be concentrated in a small volume of unfrozen water. The high concentration of the starting materials would offset the so-called deficiency of ultraviolet light, and life could begin. ..Question 1 According to the hypothesis of Scientist 1, which of the following would have been among the last living things to evolve? Choose one answer. a. Insects b. Viruses c. Plants d. Anaerobes ..Question 2 Marks: 1 According to the information presented by Scientist 1, if his theory of the origin of oxygen in the atmosphere is correct, the total amount of oxygen in the air over the next million years, on the average, should: Choose one answer. a. increase b. decrease c. decrease, then increase d. increase, then decrease ..Question 3 Marks: 1 Underlying the argument of Scientist 2 is the assumption that the oxygen in the oxides in the rocks was: Choose one answer. a. proportional to the oxygen in the atmosphere at the time b. involved in biological reactions c. all gaseous during the early days of the atmosphere d. always tied up in the rocks ..Question 4 Underlying Scientist 1's suggestion that the evolutionary record supports the idea of oxygen deficiency on the early Earth is the assumption that the oldest living things: Choose one answer. a. have the most fragmented DNA b. have the shortest DNA c. must have died out d. have changed radically ..Question 5 Which of the following is the strongest argument Scientist 1 could use to counter Scientist 2's suggested mechanism for the origin of life? Choose one answer. a. Chemical reactions occured differently then b. There was not enough ultraviolet light available c. The temperature at the surface of the Earth at that time was always above 35 degrees Celsius because of geothermal heat release d. Most lakes would not have covered large enough areas to guarantee that all the essential building blocks were present ..Question 6 To refute Scientist 1's hypothesis, Scientist 2 might best show that: Choose one answer. a. there are ways of making the biologically important molecules without ultraviolet light b. the amount of oxide in rocks has changed little over the past four billion years c. the atmospheric pressure has not changed over the Earth's history d. there are complex anaerobic bacteriaThank you Chris! Jesus! moreResolved Question: Has anyone had success losing weight by adding Vitamin D and Calcium supplements?
I'm lactose intolerant and don't eat much dairy, so my doctor thinks I might be vitamin D deficient. I know that vitamin D aids in the absorption of calcium, and I've heard that calcium and D taken together can facilitate weight loss (and that a vitamin D deficiency can cause weight gain). I have extra weight that appeared suddenly and I can't get rid of it (it's not a medical problem; I've had my thyroid checked). Does anyone have experience with losing weight after taking calcium and/or vitamin D?@Ash: I'm lactose intolerant. That's why I don't drink milk, and that's why I have a calcium and vitamin D deficiency. I've read studies regarding calcium and cancer, and I disagree with your statement. But my actual question still stands unanswered.@Ash again: Thank you for the information, but none of it answers my question. moreResolved Question: Philippine police's response during the standoff, how could they be so inadequate?
I saw the footage online, and was appalled by the "smash as they go" approach they had to try to subdue the gunman. The last time I tried this, the idiotic "Voters" thought they knew best. Before you give me BS about "Her house her rules boo ******* hoo" I've already tried speaking to her about emancipating me(AKA NOT HER PLACE NOT HER RULES), and she still refuses to do it. She's been "homeschooling" me for years, but has been threatening to send me back to "Regular school" for pretty much the entire time. Not to mention that even when I DO try to do work, she gets into a pissy fit and won't let me do it because I wasn't showing enough "respect" or some BS like that. Then other times she'll say she doesn't care what my attitude is, as long as I do the work!(HYPOCRISY much?) As a result, I've become deficient in certain areas(like Math) that have become too much of a drain for me to properly focus on. She tries to keep me a little "Momma's boy" by guilt-tripping me and saying I was at a "good weight" a year ago(At 220 pounds!!) but now(At 145) she says I'm "too thin"! She ALWAYS violates all of our agreements without fail, and makes me pick up her slack. She got divorced from my Dad a few years ago, but things were just as bad then as they are now. I'm not allowed to have any opportunity to have any sort of social life whatsoever apart from what "She" signs me up for, and so I've become a real internet junkie over the years to extract some sort of socialization for myself. I've also tried "talking" to her multiple times. When I used to seriously try, she'd end up just using it in another tirade of hers. Example: I tell her I don't like it when she bangs up and down the steps. She then ends up banging up and down the steps at least twice as long as she did before the talk, at least 'till she forgets about it. She'll also go into a rage when she thinks I'm lying, but then ends up calming down and admitting she was wrong hours later, after my voice is hoarse. I still have talks, but now I just give fake answers, which she uses in more attacks of hers. I finally achieved some measure of peace with myself when I realized that everyone would have been a hell of a lot happier if she had just put me up for adoption or something like that. But nowadays, she also threatens to put me into a mental asylum for "Talking back" because I try standing up for myself. Because I have a diagnosis of Aspergers(Which might be much worse than it is/even have symptoms of because I've been abused for so long, and have only recognized it very recently), she also claims to want to keep me locked up with her till i'm in my 20s. Because of this, I try to keep treading lightly for now. What I guess I really want to know is can I get/do I need legal help/services? Do I need to have a lot of proof? I have some tapes and notes, but she's been scrawling her own spin for years. Or am I safe by just waiting a little bit(17, gonna be 18 in a few months), and then trying to get the heck out of there? Help! Also, my Dad is just as bad as she is when it comes to parenting. Although at least he was "nice enough" to be consistently nasty, instead of jerking me around! Just before you morons think I should ask him for help. moreResolved Question: Question about hookers: geninue answers only please?

I have to write a poem for my AP class. It's not personal, but i've gotten quite a few compliments. Thanks. (: Open Wings People crowd amongst themselves, Their similarities severe, The girl she stands alone & silent, Her hand curved at her ear. Whispers fill the humid halls, Harsh words float swiftly by, The girl will catch them with her heart, Like a net to butterfly. People stared, and made it known, They thought she was deficient, Opinions passed from one clone to the next, They thought their knowledge was omniscient. In truth no person knows her story, She one day was simply there, She longed to flee, to fly, to run, spread her wings & take to the air. One evening whilst the town did sleep, A shadow crossed the road, On tip-toed feet with shining eyes; All audible words swallowed. No person spoke of her absence, Though guilty consciences would ensue, Only the sky was her witness, As she spread her wings and flew. moreResolved Question: what could cause random bruising?
Yesterday I noticed pain on my arm in the afternoon and throughout the evening, bruises started to develop and deepen. When I woke up, they had gotten worse. I do bruise easily when I bump into things, but it's usually just one bruise at the site of impact, and as far as I can remember, I didn't bump into anything. These bruises are also on the inside of my arm, where it's not easily bumped into. I'm attaching a picture. I also have a couple smaller bruises on my other arm that appeared about the same time. I really have no idea what could have caused this. Googling brings up stuff like anemia or blood thinners. I am regularly tested for my thyroid condition, and nothing has come up deficient on the blood panel (I get a complete work-up) within the last 6 months. There was this movie, I think it was probably made around 2002, and all I can remember about it is that the main character was a little girl who lived in a farmhouse in a corn field, who had no friends so she put doll heads on her fingers and talked to them, one was mean and one was nice. Her father, or guardian or whatever was a drug addict and abusive to the girl. There was a mentally deficientm sloth-looking guy who was probably 30, but he and the little girl had some kind of weird boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. And the deficient guy had a submarine in the cornfield I think, or a big boat or something. I think the movie had the word "field" or "farm" in it but I'm not sure. My cat, Sugar, is almost a year old. When we got her she was a little kitten and we noticed she walked funny but it was never anything serious. We took her to the vet and he told us that she was calcium deficient and that her hind legs must have been discolated when she was being born. He gave us some calcium stuff, but it never helped. A few weeks ago we left on vacation. We just came back today. Her legs are worse than ever. I've never seen her like this. They give out completely when she walks. She'll take a couple of steps and the back half of her will fall and she'll have to pull it up again and keep walking. And now she's been trying to scratch the back of her head for like 10 minutes and occasionally she'll meow and it looks so... weird. Please help me. Two years ago I went to my primary care physician for a routine annual physical. My lab work came back abnormal. I was spilling very high amounts of protein and creatine. More tests followed and the same result was shown. I was sent to a Nephrologist. She was sure that I had some form of kidney disease. I was checked for the big diseases like lupus, cancers, etc. None. I held off on my kidney biopsy for several months; during that time I had frequent trips to the hospital for more blood and urine samples, all of which turned out very very high. I finally had a kidney biopsy. The results turned back negative for everything. She said my kidney tissue was very normal. She herself was shocked, and even had my test results ran through extra times and by different specialists, including those at the Mayo Clinic. Normal. However, the fact still remains to this day that I am spilling excessive amounts of protein in my urine. This is not normal. I never heard from my kidney specialist again. I was never diagnosed with anything, nor put on medicine, nor told to see anyone for checks on the matter or follow ups. The last time I saw my kidney specialist- when she told me I was fine she said "Well you probably had some IGA (nephropathy) brewing but stopped it by taking fish oil." wtf??? My questions for you are: -should i be worried or do something about this? - am i okay just because my doctor sent me on my way or was she negligent? -can this proteinuria cause problems in the future or develop into a disease eventually? - would having proteinuria itself affect daily life? because i'm always tired and i wonder if this has anything to do with it -any other helpful comments to perhaps help you answer my question better; a little health info about me: -5'6". 120lbs. -17 at time this occured. currently 18 -female -no drug use, do smoke cigarettes -no health history except for asthma and iron deficient anemia -family history includes heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, one case of teen leukemia, survived. other than that no other cancer, no kidney or strange diseases, no obesity. moreResolved Question: What's wrong with my cat's hind legs?

for the past month or so, i've changed my eating habits. i won't say i dramatically change them, but i cut out all soda and sugary drinks, i mostly drink water and milk. i cut out a lot of junk food, i used to eat chinese food twice a week pizza twice a week and i would get like two chocolate bars and three bags of chips every night. i don't do that anymore. i only had fast food about two times this month and it wasn't a lot, i definately don't miss it, i felt sick after eating it. i only get junk food once a week now, to stop my cravings, and it's only like a crossaint or a bacon egg and cheese, or one bag of chips. something yummy to satisfy my stomach, just once. and i started eating fish, and a lot of fruits and vegetables, and cut out the french fries. i wouldn't say i'm dieting, i really just think i switched to a healthier diet. i don't even excercise or get out much. i was 120 pounds a month ago, now i'm 112 pounds. i was thinking wow, losing weight is so easy. but than i got a blood test and i'm extremely vitamin D deficient. i looked up the symptoms and it says weight loss is one of them. losing weight because of health problems does NOT sound like a good thing. do you think this is why i'm losing weight?! or is it because of my new diet? i'm so confused, i wanna be losing weight HEALTHY. i'm 5 foot 1, 112 pounds, and 17 years old. my goal is 105 pounds. moreVoting Question: Will some smarty pants tell me what this means..BIG words..I don't understand...uh...mostly anything?
I want to take biotin for hair growth and health...but I don't know if taking it lowers my metabolism?..which i don't want....makes me fat?..which i don't want...it read fat somewhere in there....sorry... Biotin is a coenzyme in the metabolism of fatty acids and leucine, and it plays a role in gluconeogenesis. Biotin is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids, and the metabolism of fats and amino acids. It plays a role in the citric acid cycle, which is the process by which biochemical energy is generated during aerobic respiration. Biotin not only assists in various metabolic reactions but also helps to transfer carbon dioxide. Biotin may also be helpful in maintaining a steady blood sugar level. Inherited metabolic disorders characterized by deficient activities of biotin-dependent carboxylases are termed multiple carboxylase deficiency. These include deficiencies in the enzymes holocarboxylase synthetase or biotinidase. Holocarboxylase synthetase deficiency prevents the body's cells from using biotin effectively, and thus interferes with multiple carboxylase reactions.[16] Biochemical and clinical manifestation includes: ketolactic acidosis, organic aciduria, hyperammonemia, skin rash, feeding problems, hypotonia, seizures, developmental delay, alopecia, and coma. Biotinidase deficiency is not due to inadequate biotin, but rather to a deficiency in the enzymes that process it. Biotinidase catalyzes the cleavage of biotin from biocytin and biotinyl-peptides (the proteolytic degradation products of each holocarboxylase) and thereby recycles biotin. It is also important in freeing biotin from dietary protein-bound biotin.[17] General symptoms include decreased appetite and growth. Dermatologic symptoms include dermatitis, alopecia (hair loss) and achromotrichia (absence or loss of pigment in the hair).[18] Perosis (a shortening and thickening of bones) is seen in the skeleton. Fatty liver and kidney syndrome (FLKS) and hepatic steatosis also can occur. moreResolved Question: Is this considered child abuse?
I recently was diagnosed as being iron deficient due to it being omitted from my diet. My family rarely buys actual food and instead buys all this shit that shouldn't be eaten by human beings. I try to eat a balanced diet but I can never accomplish that cuz of what they buy and they refuse to change because of money restrictions. I call bullshit cuz I see the useless crap they send money on that should be going towards eating right. I'm sorry if I come across as an asshole but I'm pretty upset about the whole thing because I know it could've been avoided. Could I threaten them with contacting CPS unless they start changing? I'm 15. moreResolved Question: Is thin hair temporary?
I am 17. Male. I always had a full head of thick hair until about a year ago when I got a very short haircut with a razor and noticed that my hair had thinned A LOT! Basically you can see my scalp under light, if my hair's wet or if you're standing really close to me. So I was wondering is this situation temporary? Will my hair go back to normal eventually? My mom and dad both have thick hair and so do my brother and sister. And oh yeah I'm also anemic (iron-deficient) and have been taking iron pills. Will they help? How long do I have to wait? And what do I have to do to help the process along. moreResolved Question: Poll: Would you rather have your idea of a "perfect body" that can barely function, or a healthiest body?
A. Would you rather have your idea of a "perfect, best, body" as defined by the mainstream society, that gets fatigued extremely easily, your bones are fragile, you are deficient in almost everything, and your brain slows down by anywhere from 25% - 55%. You will never age, or feel the effects of aging, and will remain "young and beautiful" for the remainder of your life. B. Or, would you rather have the healthiest body, one that is considered by the mainstream society to be EXTREMELY ugly, but a body that's function is amazing, your energy utilization is "perfect", you can go on working physically for days, your brain is at full capacity, your bones are harder than diamonds, you only require 4 hours of sleep to be completely rejuvenized, and all and all it is the most logical idea of a body, ever. Also, as a side note, you won't feel the effects of aging, and you can't die unless you want to. moreResolved Question: is it possible to love two women at once?
i believe it is and i do, or maybe i'm just looking for justification for adultery. considering there is no suvh thing as @soul mates@ and we're all just looking for someone who "fits" best what if i've found someone who fits very well but ive also found someone who posesses the personality traits the first was deficient in. i've been with girlfriend A for 5 years and B for 2. B knows about A but not the other way round. I could never choose between them either, I think it would be similar to a mother choosing between which child survives a terrible end. I would be extremely happy with either one do you think it's possible to love 2 people at once equally? moreVoting Question: How do you know if your missing certain vitamins?
I know having a healthy diet is the best way to get what you need but how can you find out if your deficient or getting enough (because there's a lot of possible diets out there and a lot of advice) can someone just tell me a test your doctor can give you or a really good multivitamin pill moreResolved Question: Will Well's Fargo work back-assessed property taxes into mortgage modification?
I live in Texas and have recently been informed my property tax will jump to approximately $20,000 due to 5 years of omitted property! The appraisal district has only been assessing the $17,000 land value of my property without including the $116,000 home sitting on it! I recently refinanced and I think it must have somehow alerted them to this omission. Thing is, I've had to pay all kinds of fees for title insurance, tax certificates, escrow fees and so on... but never, in my 7 years of ownership, have I been alerted by Well's Fargo concerning ANY tax discrepancies. I have a VA loan guaranty. Do you think they'll be suspicious of Well's Fargo's risky practices, because my original and refinanced DEED doesn't even list the correct legal description of my property! Well's Fargo insisted on an escrow account, which will be monumentally deficient in funds. Their terms state that I must pay the difference within 12 months, which would send me into bankruptcy and foreclosure. I have had a perfect payment record these 7 years and my credit is very good, though my credit cards are maxed out. My VA loan guaranty is for $35,000 and I am concerned Well's Fargo might just cut their losses and get their money back through foreclosure. Do you think they would be compelled at all to work something out with me? I'm hoping they will work the taxes into my mortgage through a loan mod, but I'd love to maintain my current 4.75% interest rate if possible. Am I asking too much? moreResolved Question: How do you provide a song link from You-tube?
Like if you're answering someones question, for example, your favorite song? Then you go to You Tube and pick a song. How do you then import that song back to answer the question? I know I'm computer deficient moreResolved Question: Why do I never have regular periods? 10pts!?
So I'm 18 and my periods are still totally random. I'd say one every 2-3 months usually, sometimes more. I tried keeping track but they seem completely random. Here are my theory's as to why this is, can someone tell me if I'm right or what else it could be? - I have some sort of hormone issue (rare I know) - I'm iron deficient cuz I'm a vegetarian ( I take iron pills every once in a while but forget a lot) - I'm only 18 and started my period later then other family members so I should give it more time ( but still, It's been years) - My past anorexia and the diet issues I have now have just screwed my body up ( I'm not underweight now but should probably eat more healthy) Any advice? Thank you! I would love to be able to plan around my period, it's really annoying not knowing when it will start up again. moreResolved Question: GUYS HELP!! Did he not want me? What the hell is his DEAL?!! PLEASE HELP?
Ok, I'm a typical girl and I'm completely deficient in guy-language. I don't get what they mean or what they're TRYING to tell me because they're too d--mn confusing!!!! A little background info: we'd been checking each other out (ish) for awhile now while on transit (he alwaaays sleeps or is tired). I presented myself to him last week, then he came to talk to me last Friday. Then he shows real interest and we have great conversation. I know he likes me (either that or he's like me and is just friendly in general!) because he laughs at what I say, looks straight into my eyes (makes me really nervous) and teases me etc. Yesterday I brought him a piece of cake that I made and he liked it. So I told him to come and tell me what he thought of it the next day (today). He did. He looked tired and the conversation wasn't allll that great. At one point he looked deep into my eyes and I thought he was going to say something but then he didn't, I also looked away... makes me too nervous. Anyway, as we were walking together I said me: so... we should hang out sometime! him: yeah for sure for sure! just let me know when. ugh college guys! and was already walking to the door, so I was like "um?? I don't have your number." so he turns around and comes back and says "Oh yeah! Ok." and starts to tell me quickly so I was like ... me: OK HOLD UP.... here... and he typed it in and said "Ok, cool so send me a message.." and I was like "Uh, don't you want MY number?" (been down this road before and this time I wasn't going to be like *giggle* YEAH SUUURE. and keep wondering. I HATE mind games) so he's like "yeah, send me a message and I'll save it." so I did and he laughed at what I wrote ("Yo") and I said "well...this weekend's going to be nice...except Sunday" (rain. and he has a soccer game) and he said "Oh, yeah. My buddy's having this party but I don't think I'm gonna go... my ex is going to be there." Hold on....WHAT!? Why would you tell me that????! What the hell is that supposed to mean!? So I was like "uh ohhh..." and he's like "well anyway I'll let you know if I don't end up going." and I said see ya later whatever and left. This perplexes me... why would he say ex? is this kinda like "I don't want a relationship or anything, so stay away." or "if you don't act fast I'll go back to her." Guys get all "scared" after a relationship as opposed to trying to get to know new girls and people. So I feel slightly odd and rejected maybe???... I ain't waiting for him for SHIZ. That you can bet on! I did everything and he can't even have the balls to properly say somethign!??!?!?!!? Has to be all secretive like "ooh my ex." WTF?! Then if he doesn't he'll just run from me on Monday or Tuesday because he didn't do anything. Not like I'd chop off his head but seriously so much complexities and fears in guys nowadays. Point is, if he doesn't do I even try talking to him again? I feel like I shouldn't. Only if he comes to me. Plus, you'd have to be a MORON not to know I'm interested. I'm waiting for HIM to show he's interested. Or am I blind??? HELP!!??!!?!? I'm going INSANE. Just haaaad to be Friday the 13th!!!!!landayi: that is exactly what I thought. If guys are into you wouldn't THEY ask for the number??? That's why I'm having all these doubts in my mind because I had to ask him and then he mentions his ex. I'm glad to know you guys think he's at LEAST into me. TheGiver: Should I really turn him down when I was the one hinting Saturday is good? You know? -dont smoke -dont eat meat -dont get drunk with your friends -do 2 hours of painful excercise a day -dont be sendatry even if your job requiries -dont eat spicy -dont eat fattening food -and even your a vegetarian your deficient in iron -dont stress -dont eat chocolate -dont eat meat -have limited milk -never stay up late at night etc etc etc live would be a fucking prison if you followed all these guidelines moreResolved Question: If you must accept Jesus as your Savior in order to be saved (John 14:6), what about.....?
I have always had a problem with any religion that teaches that in order to be accepted into God’s kingdom you are required to accept beliefs of that religion. I consider this an insult to God Himself. If this is true, then what happens to those of other religions? If you must accept Jesus as your Savior in order to be saved (John 14:6), what about the billions of beings that die as fetuses, infants, and mentally deficient, etc.? For them to accept Jesus would be impossible. So they are condemned to hell because of conditions over which they had no control? What happens to those that have never heard of those beliefs? I believe in God, just not mortal mans interpretations (Bible) of Him. moreResolved Question: Will Well's Fargo work back-assessed property taxes into my mortgage?

after receiving my blood work my level was at 13 the Doctor said i should be at at least 30 or higher i have had weird symptoms that i could not pinpoint like cold and hot spots radiating throughout my body ibs and migraines. could this be from the deficiency any body know what other symptoms you can have by being Vitamin D deficient moreResolved Question: I have tears and can't do anything for a month?
I just came back from the DR and it turns out I'm estrogen deficient and have vaginal tears. I can't have any sex for a month. The thing is, my boyfriend and I are moving back to college in a week, and well, there are a LOT of slutty girls at school. I really trust my bf but I'm nervous about him being sexually deprived and drunk at a party at the right place, right time, and that he'll sleep with someone else... I don't think he'd EVER intentionally cheat, but things happen, especially if he isn't getting satisfied by me. What can I do to calm myself down? I don't want to ruin our trust by getting all jealous and nervous about this. I trust him 100%, it's just... things happen. Help? No, I DO trust him, I just can't help but worry a bit. I know that the reason I have no friends is solely MY fault and mine alone. I'm the common denominator in all of my interactions with others. Nevertheless, people don't like me and I want to change that so that I can have some friends. Now, I'm not the most attractive, or smartest, or most interesting person in the world, but there's bound to be other average people out there too, right? I've read that people like outgoing and confidence in others. My self-esteem is sufficient, but I'm sorely deficient in the social arena. How do I overcome this so that people will want to be near me? I'm so lonely. moreResolved Question: Is there something wrong with me?
Is there something wrong with me? Hi... for about the past 3 years my head has been spinning. It's kind of hard to explain but it's like I'm lightheaded... it happens from reading in the car, when I get too hot, when I move quickly (like if I've been sitting and suddenly stand up ) when I'm really sick or tired, when I'm hungry and haven't eaten for a while, you probably know what I mean. Sometimes it feels like my head is throbbing- like if I move suddenly when it's really hot or something. It's really hard to explain. I am going into 9th grade- freshman in h. school- this fall and this has been happening since a little bit after the start of sixth grade. Also when that started happening, something else would also happen- my heart would flutter- almost like there was a butterfly fluttering where my heart should be. That hasn't happened since 6th grade, but my mom has a history of that. My mom is anemic and her family has a history of being anemic- which pretty much just means iron deficient and that you don't have enough iron in your blood- and she says that is where I get my head spinning from, so when this first started out in 6th grade my mom took me to the dr and I got blood tests done, but they said I wasn't anemic. But I take the flinstone vitamins with Iron and usually I feel better so idk... also I get thirsty sometimes- like I can get really thirsty. It used to happen a lot. Usually if I eat greasy food or work up a sweat, but sometimes I can be thirsty for no reason, and I usually only drink water, so when I go to a friend's house overnight and they drink lots of pop or juice, I am usually parched when I come home. do you think I could be diabetic? I'm not sure what some symptoms are, but I heard that overweight people can get it, and I am a bit overweight- not fat, but I'm chubby. I'm working on losing it and it's not really a problem- the reason I haven't lost any weight recently is b/c our ellyptical broke apart and we are getting a new one- and my family does not have a history of Diabetes and as far as I know the only person in my family to have it is one of my aunts, who gets it when she's pregnant but it goes away after she gives birth or something like that...? Sorry this was so long- but I'm not really sure why I get lightheaded and why I can be so thirsty sometimes. thx! Also, my hands and feet get cold easily- like if i"m in a cold room, usually 2-3 minutes later my hands and feet will be cold. Not nesesesarily numb, just cold, Idk if this is relevant to anything else. Also, the lightheadedness usually stops once I drink some water or take a vitamin or if it's from hunger, it stops when I eat something. My mom has the same symptoms but doesn't have diabetes. Also since I got tested at the dr.s 3 years ago the only thing that changed is that my heart hasn't fluttered. I know that a sign of diabetes is that you always have to pee but I haven't really noticed anything out of the ordinary- I usually have to go every 3-4 hours, that's always been the norm for me. I can go a whole school day without having to pee... also my family has a history of Pancreatic cancer so Idk if that has anything to do with this...Also, the weight is not a problem- like I said, the only reason I haven't lost any recently is b/c we are in the proscess of getting a new elliptical. I go on about 2.5 mile bike rides about 2-3 times a week with my dad, I eat lots of fruit and vegetables. This is not a weight loss question moreResolved Question: Senior, financial analysis?
I'm a senior and seriously math deficient. I have a hard time with basic algebra, so how will I ever pass this class. Any advice? I need it to graduate. moreResolved Question: Air conditioner not cooling efficiently. Need help solving this problem!?
I recently changed my condenser fan, but it wasn't to the correct specification. In fact, the horsepower and rpm was just under par compared to the previous expired part that I had. I'd consulted the air conditioning repair man about it and he told me it should be just fine, as the alternative was much more expensive than I could afford (the original brand name part replacement in addition to labor would of cost me $600) . But now, since it's summer, my air conditioning runs but doesn't seem to be cooling efficiently. (I usually set the thermostat at 83, but the house temperature seems to stay constant at 86 and continues to run all day until the evening hits). So, is it my condenser fan that's insufficient or is it something else, like deficient freons? And also, my electric bill came out to an outlandish $400. I live in phoenix, AZ so it's expected that the bill would soar during the summer months, but not at that rate. Do you think because the air conditioner is always on, it's dragging the electricity? moreVoting Question: the calibre of a man can be judged by the company he keeps? do you agree?
